Hogo No Yujin (Protective Friend)
Episode 8~ Dylan's Thoughts

"Well!"

Dylan opened his eyes quickly. He woke up and looked around. There were some familiar objects around him and also beside him he saw there was his Dakimakura.

"Wait a minute..."

Dylan was wailing at his own confusion. Now he knows! If so, he was in his own room. Now, he's on top of the bed.

"Why am I here?" Dylan muttered. He's really confused. Because, as he remembered earlier, he was at school. To be precise, he was sitting pensively in the garden beside the canteen. "Then after that ..why all of a sudden, am I here?"

"Then...my school uniform?" Dylan examined his body. "Eh! Have I changed clothes?! Who has replaced it? And why I can sleep in my own room. Ahhh! What the hell has happened?! I don't remember everything!"

Dylan thought he might have come home from school. When he got home, he changed his clothes and fell asleep on my bed.

"Huh, it might be like that." Dylan took a long breath. His head felt a little dizzy and he wanted to urinate.

Chapter 8: [Dylan's Thoughts ]

Soon, Dylan walked out of the room, then ran towards the bathroom. When he got there, he opened the bathroom door.

"Eeehhh?!"

"Ah, Dylan-san, is it here?"

Dylan closed the bathroom door. Then, with a reddened face, he walked quickly away from the bathroom.

Again he saw Takana's body without clothes. "ah! Why did I never know that Takana likes to stay in my bathroom?!"

Dylan's going back to his room. But as he was walking, he suddenly tripped on his own feet and fell into his sister's bedroom door. The door opened, and he fell to the floor.

"Oh.., sick!"

Dylan rubbed his head, then opened his eyes again. Shortly afterwards, he was struck by the figure of a woman who appeared before him. His eyes were shocked. And then, immediately, he woke up.

Dylan was really surprised. Because, the woman he saw was his own sister!

His name is Natash Felyshia. He's Dylan's only brother. The sister he thought was the most annoying. Currently, he is 22 years old. He's not married, but Dylan's guess is he already has a girlfriend out there. Working as a doctor in a hospital outside the city.

"What are you doing in my room, little brother?" Brother Fely chuckled.

Dylan frowned. "I told you, I'm not a kid anymore, you know!"

Dylan turned around. Once again, he was startled by the presence of Takana in front of him. He was standing at the door of Fely's room from when. Fortunately, he was wearing his usual clothes. Namely, a pink sweater with a pattern of love shape and a picture of a cat that reads "Nyan Neko".

"Eh! Takana! Anu... My sister...."

"Just relax, Dylan. Brother knows that Takana lives here now." Fely's brother embraced his sister's body.

Dylan nodded slowly. Then surprised. "Oh..., eeehh?! Do you know each other?!"

"Yes, Dylan-san, this Onee-chan is–"

"We're just old friends!" quickly, Fely closed Dylan's ears. Outraged, the man let go of his embrace.

"Ah, stop. I don't care!" Dylan walked quickly out of his sister's room. But he did not go straight to the room. Dylan stopped his steps. Standing in his place was not far from my room. Because, he had heard the voice of Fely and Takana who were talking.

"Don't let Dylan know that you're an Oniroshi!"

"Well.., gomennasai. I also tried to hide it. But it's very hard."

"Just watch your mouth. The point is, don't let him know. You want to complete your mission, right?"

"Yes. Watashi wa kare no hogo yujin ni narimasu!"

"Curtain! Again the hidden word uses Japanese! It sucks!" inner Dylan.

Hearing the Japanese, Dylan remembered something. He wanted to find out what the Japanese word Takana meant to him.

Remember, today, this very second, he will immediately find out the meaning of the word!

Dylan moved his legs again. Walk quickly to the room. In the room, he opened the computer. Open search, type translate. "I'll get rid of my curiosity today!"

"About, what does Takana used to say fitting that, huh?" dylan muttered slightly.

"Ah, noooo! Why was it my turn to translate the word, I suddenly forgot the words I wanted to translate." It turns out he completely forgot.

"What yes? What does Takana like to say to me? Uh! I forgot it badly!"

"So you forget the words your friend used to say?"

"Eh?" Dylan turned around. He's surprised. Suddenly someone spoke to him. Dylan looked around the room and apparently, there was no one in his room. There is only one himself.

"What is a Chef?" muttered Dylan who was still looking for the origin of the voice earlier. "Coki's Time? No way! Uh, what the hell, is there someone at the door?"

Then Dylab will see it. Slowly, he peered outside the door. Apparently, there was nobody out there either.

"Then whose voice was that?"

"Watashi wa anata no hogo Yujin desu!"

"That sound again!"

This time, the voice was very close to him. Someone whispered something to Dylan.. "Watashi wa anata no hogo Yujin desu!". Someone whispered that word. It seemed that Dylan was no stranger to his words.

"Watashi wa anata no hogo Yujin desu! Those are the words your friend likes to say."

Dylan turned around. That person, had said that word again. "Who the hell is it?! Is that a ghost? Does he want to scare me? It's late afternoon, it's at this hour, a ghost has appeared."

Dylan's eyes glanced towards the room window and were shocked. There, he saw a black cat sleeping in front of the window.

"Black cat suddenly appeared? What is this sign? Is that true, that ghost is near me? Just by the mark of a black cat?" inner Dylan. "Eh! What am I thinking, anyway?! It's just a black cat. The myths are many, but I don't believe in any of them."

Dylan has one way of knowing. He will check the situation around his room. He turned back to face the front door. Then, quickly, he bent down and looked between the two legs with his head down.

Said, SAID! That way, he could see ghosts easily.

Between his two legs, Dylan focused his eyes on the black cat there. Apparently there was no result. Dylan again positioned his body as before by standing up straight.

Soon, he repeated again. Dylan leaned back and peeked between the two legs. This time he was surprised. Near the window stood a large black-robed man who stood facing the window.

Dylan did not believe what he saw. Dylan stood up straight again and rubbed his eyes. Who knows, he just mislooked.

Then after that, Dylan bowed again and was shocked. Very surprised. As he looked back at the sight between his two legs again, Dylan was startled by the figure of the big-robed man who was getting closer to him, until finally, his sinister face and bulging eyes looked at him.

There, Dylan just kept quiet. Suddenly his body could not move. "Eh?! Why this?!"

"Ouch!"

Suddenly, the door of his room opened on its own. Dylan fell to the floor as he was pushed by the door. Apparently, the ones who opened the door were Fely and Takana. "Would you like them both to my room?"

"Dylan-san? What the hell are you doing? Why are you sleeping on the floor?" ask Takana.

"It's none of your business! Well," Dylan stood back up while touching his aching back. "Eh, what do you need to do to get into my room?"

"It looks like there's nothing here. Everything looks safe. But, what I just felt was very dangerous." Fely muttered while looking around Dylan's room.

Dylan himself heard the murmur. "What does it mean dangerous?"

"Ah, there's nothing, really!" Fely just laughed. Then he went back out of the room. All that was left there was Takana. He stared hard at Dylan. But shortly after, he smiled again. The girl laughed to herself.

"What are you laughing at? Nothing funny!" Dylan yelled at Takana.

Takana was also flinched. "Nothing, really!" He went back silent. He didn't move his legs like Fely did to get out of the room. He just stayed at the door.

"Hey, if there's no business with me, you better just go, there!" Dylan pushed and chased Takana out of the room.

"Dylan-san! Watashi wa anata no hogo Yujin desu!"

"Yujin desu! Yujin desu's! Bodo ah's! I don't give a shit... Uh?"

Dylan finally remembered! Those are the words he wants to translate. 'Watashi wa anata no hogo Yujin desu'. "Yes! That word. I need to translate the language immediately!"

Dylan pushed Takana out of the room, then immediately closed the room door and locked it. There's no more Takana. Maybe he's gone. "Well, it's time to figure out what Japanese means!"

Dylan didn't use his computer. Because, on the computer, there is no Japanese typing. So, he uses it on his phone.

In the translation, he typed the word"

"And now, we wait for the results of the breakdown. And here's the result! I can translate it too!"

Dylan also read the meaning of the Japanese word. What it means is, "I'll be your protective friend!"

"Eh? Protective buddy? Meaning what?" Dylan muttered inwardly as he thought of the meaning of that.

"I'll be your protective friend!"

That's what Takana likes to tell her when she asks for a friendship with Dylan. "Eh, wait a minute, if I think about it....

"Every Takana asks me to be his friend, I must ask 'why?'then, he always replied with the word 'Watashi wa anata no hogo Yujin desu!' which means, 'I'll be your protective friend!'.

"So, that's why Takana wants to be my friend. He just wants to protect me? But, protecting myself from what? Am I in danger?

"It seems, I should ask Takana directly.

"Eh! Better not. If I had asked, Takana would not have answered!

"Then, what should I do? I'm getting curious. Are there any other secrets Takana's hiding from me?"

Dylan thought about it again. Then, shortly thereafter, he again came to a head with the words that Fely had spoken to Takana while in his room.

"Don't let Dylan know that you're an Oniroshi!"

That's what her brother said. "Oniroshi's? Mean what? An Oniroshi? What'sthat?"

"Taken from the word 'Oni' which means..., a moment! I translated that word too!

"The word 'Oni' uses kanji ( ⁇ ), which means... "Devil" ?!"

During this time, Takana always beat up Dylan while yelling "Oni". If the Oni means "Satan", that means, Takana thinks that Dylan tui is Satan.

"Or, did he see something he thought was a demon around me?" Dylan became creepy himself after being imagined. "Hmmm.., I still don't know that. Let me think again."

"If for example Takana sees a demon near me, that means, Takana is not an ordinary human being. Not everyone can see such a creature. Only special people who are experts in the science of something or something like that can see supernatural beings. Who is Takana really?

"I don't know. From the beginning, I had also assumed that Takana was no ordinary human.

"When I got home from school a few days ago, Takana saved me from the attack of something dark black. A shadow that bound my hand and caused pain to my body. Takana removed the strange shadow by just touching it.

"Then Takana stayed at my house, Takana was very annoying. And my sleep is not calm. Then, in the morning, my room looked very tidy.

"Then as we were going to school together, he saved me from a big truck that drove up wanting to hit me. Surprisingly again, Takana was still able to survive after he was hit by the truck. Everyone was amazed by Takana.

"Then not too long ago, when I was at school. Right behind the school, I was beaten up by Kei's friends. Before falling unconscious, I had a chance to see Takana's anger which was very surprising.

"He let out a blue light, then quickly, Takana pushed his two friends Kei until they both bounced away.

"Hmm.., I guess, I should find out for myself about Takana's personality! I know how to.

"My brother is also hiding something from me. Looks like, Takana and my sister have an important relationship that they're keeping secret from me. Anyway, inevitably, I have to find out!"

Secretly, Dylan entered his brother's room. It's dark in there. But, Dylan was using the lighting from his cell phone screen. He'll find something in his room.

Something that looks suspicious. Anyway, Dylan's gonna search that room. Mumpung, his brother was asleep. "She's a lazy woman. Her sleep is so good. It can't be built until the end."

First, Dylan would check the drawers in his bedroom closet. From the bottom up to the top. Inside there were only strange items that he did not understand. "Huh, again my brother keeps something like this. I don't know what's the point."

Dylan checked his doll closet. Then, he found a doll that caught his attention. A plastic doll of a sitting man. Dylan was curious about the doll. He held it and lifted it from the other dolls.

Checked the doll. Nothing suspicious at all. But, before Dylan put it back, he could see there was a thread of red in his hair. "Do I have to pull it? Who knows if there's something hidden in there."

Dylan shook his head. It undoes the intention to pull the red thread. "Well, I better not pull it. Who knows this is a trap!"

"Yes! That's a trap for you!"

Dylan's surprised. Suddenly the voice of her brother appeared.

He awakens. Dylan immediately turned around to run away. Then instantly, a few red threads came out from inside the doll. The red thread fastened Dylan's hands and feet. In essence, his entire body was filled with crumpled red threads. Dylan could not move and fell to the floor.

Fely got up from his bed and said, "Finally, I can catch you!" He smiled as he looked at Dylan. The man could not see his face because it was too dark in his room.

"What will he do to me?!"
