Episode 59 – New Friends (2)

"Ka–kau kan ... THE STRONGEST ONIROSHI ALIVE!" Takana pointed and ran to Dylan. While there, Bell immediately asked about the state of Takana. The young man just gave a thumbs up and smiled.

Then his face began to seriously stare at the foreign woman before them. "I forgot your name, but I didn't forget his face and appearance. He is truly one of the most powerful figures in Oniroshi's history!"

"Da–where did you know that?" whispered Dylan beside him.

"I know from Onii-chan. This is Oniroshi who once defeated dozens of Onirida when our village was attacked by Oni troops! Solo, youh! Solo!" Takana told him excitedly. His feelings between disbelief and joy after meeting the legend. He seemed to like the greatness of the woman.

"At the same time, I still don't understand." Inner Dylan, then pulled out his face.

The ice woman smiled at Takana. "Old story, don't need to be told anymore." Then his head turned a little. "It's nice to meet you all. The young Oniroshi."

Takana was happy to hear that. He quickly bent down, then forced Dylan's body to do so as well. "Se– was a pleasure to meet you and thank you for saving us!"

"Hey, wait a minute!" Dylan put Takana's hand off the top of his head, then looked coldly at the ice lady. "He saved us? It's late!"

"Dylan-san! Be polite!" Takana snapped a little, then nudged Dylan's body.

"What's? It's the truth, isn't it? Irvan has defeated the two creatures and this person only comes when Irvan wants to attack me."

"Oh, if that's the case, I've actually come here!" The woman clapped her hands once, then smiled sweetly at Dylan. "I've actually been to this country for a long time to look for young Oniroshi like you. I can't believe it's a lot here, too, huh?

"So after I sensed your aura around this school, I finally decided to disguise myself as a teacher and watch over you guys silently." The woman looked down at Irvan, then stroked her head. "You too .. want to see my old student."

"Eh?! Wh who? Irvan?" ask Takana.

"Yes. Three years ago I turned him into an Oniroshi. Maybe he forgot. Because back then, it must have been his worst moments."

Dylan and Takana don't know about Irvan's past. But what they're guessing now, is that Irvan was an ordinary human being. Perhaps because an incident has made him a child who has special abilities and become one of the Oniroshi spread throughout Asia.

A few minutes later, Dylan heard his brother's voice screaming from below. The man approached the roof guardrail and shouted to his brother. It turned out that there were also some people he did not recognize.

So for today, they all decided to go to Dylan's house and leave the chaotic state of the school due to the Oni attack. But before long they left, some of the disciples there including the teachers also started to wake up again. They certainly are exposed to see the situation around.

Perhaps it was the strangest incident they had experienced in school.

Upon arriving home, guests gather in the living room. Fely went to the kitchen to get a drink. For the first time, Dylan decided to join their conversation because he wanted to know more about Oniroshi.

"Teacher! Teacher's okay, is he?" asked Zai with a worried face. The man sat beside the Ice Woman. While Lea was sitting on the back porch playing Dylan's parrot named Coki.

"I'm good, really! Just chill. Besides, I haven't used my powers at all." Answer the woman. Then he glanced at Dylan and watched him. Everyone may have known him. But he saw a stranger in his eyes, Dylan.

The woman extended her hand. Dylan who was watching Tanaka and Bell's behavior was shocked. He immediately glanced with his trademark gaze at the Ice Woman. "Y–ya?"

The woman smiled sweetly at Dylan and he began to introduce himself. "Hi, my name is Asuka Takahashi. Yoroshiku nee~"

"Japanese people?" inner Dylan. He slightly raised an eyebrow, then hesitantly clasped the woman's hand. It was cold when Dylan touched it. But also soft. "Dylan Leviano."

"What a good name. Are you also an Oniroshi?"

"Huh? I–"

"ah! This Dylan-san is Takana's darling!" Takana interjected and grabbed the man beside her. Dylan who was feeling uneasy also moved away from Takana. Then his eyes glanced back at Asuka.

"I accidentally joined this kid! Doing something disgusting and dangerous. He always pisses me off!" dylan was firmly on the ice lady before him. Then he slightly threw away his face and glanced in the other direction. "I just want to live quietly. So ... is there any way I can be separated from him?"

Everyone was shocked after hearing Dylan's words. And Takana too. The child's face immediately changed drastically. He did not believe what he was hearing at this time. Moreover, those words came out from his own darling mouth.

"You really want to be separated from your master?" asked Asuka with a serious tone.

Dylan who knew nothing could only nod. He really wanted to do it, but still did not know the impact it had. Until finally, Asuka tells one way to be free from her darling ties to Takana.

But before that, Fely returned with a lot of drinks for his new friends. He put the drink on the table, then patted his hand once with a happy smile. "Well! Now drink first, huh? I know you all must have been exhausted from the battle."

Everyone took the drink. Then he glanced towards Takana who looked as uninspired as before. Feeling anxious about her unusual attitude, Fely will try to ask her. But the man immediately asked permission to leave the house for a moment on the grounds of wanting to get fresh air.

After Takana left, Dylan accidentally glanced at Fely. The woman uses body language to ask questions about Takana's condition. But Dylan himself did not know. So he just shook his head.

But somehow he suddenly felt something was wrong. But he doesn't know what it is.

After finishing his drink, Asuka touched Dylan's shoulder and took him somewhere because there was something he wanted to talk about. At first, Dylan refused. But after her brother forced her, she just wanted to come along. Then after that, Fely went outside the house to look for Takana who turned out to be the man sitting next to the flower garden in the front yard. He was sitting there pensively playing a little grasshopper.

In the backyard of the house, Dylan and Asuka sat side by side. Dylan didn't want to waste much time there and he started talking. "Go to the point. What's the matter you want to say?"

"Okay, before that, I asked you one more thing first. Why do you want to separate from your master? You're already the Darling."

Dylan let out a heavy sigh and then folded his hands forward. "I just don't like that kid. Anyway ... From the beginning, I didn't want to get involved with any of this. Fight monsters and protect the world. What's in it for me? I'm just a weakling who shouldn't follow."

"So your excuse just doesn't like pairing with Takana?" ask Asuka again.

"Yes ..he is a careless child, always pushy and innocent! Anyway I don't like him. So ... I want to break this relationship and go back to my old life." Obviously Dylan, then throw away his face.

"Hey, do you know?" Asuka smiled at Dylan, then stroked his head. "There's a way to turn your life into what it used to be and you won't be able to see Takana again. Are you sure you want to know how?"

"Yes .. Please tell me directly. Just don't hurt me."

"The only way is .. to kill your own Master."

"Well?!"

Asuka stood up, then walked past the garden stone and folded her hands back. Without facing Dylan, the woman would begin to explain something. "Being Darling is a big responsibility. They should always be able to protect their Master and give their best support. We trust each other.

"So, if you want to separate from Takana. You as Darling should be able to kill your own master. That way, if your Master is no longer there, then your life will return to how it was.

"But because of your intention to be separated from your Master. You've frightened Takana and lost his trust in you. He already thinks of you as no ordinary Darling. But a close friend she really wanted. You're the same, aren't you? Surely ... You would love to have a friend who is loyal to you."

Asuka turned around and faced Dylan who was still listening. "You might think Takana's a bitch, right? But even so, he actually has a good heart, loyal and helpful. There were many lives he saved, including yours. I'm sure one day, you two will definitely need each other."

"Then think again before making your own decision. Are you sure you want to be separated from Takana? Then kill him if you want to." Explanation was terminated. Asuka went back inside and left Dylan who was still sitting on the edge of the terrace.

The man was a little confused. He scratched his head while looking down. After hearing Asuka's words, Dylan recalled his time with Takana. That woman's words were right. Since Takana was present nearby, his life has become different. Full of challenges and dangers. But Takana is always there to protect her at all times, even though her behavior always irritates Dylan.

"What should I do? I just want to be my old self. But it doesn't have to eliminate anyone." Dylan laid his body on the porch. Look at the roof of the house and the blue sky from there. Because of the sunlight, he covered half of his face with his hands.

"It seems .. I have to accept this reality."
