18. Return of Memory ?

Aria knows that Merlisa just wants her relationship with Kanva to stretch so she creates things that can cause misunderstandings. Aria's originally sharp gaze now narrowed as she now smiled.

He took Kanva's hand. “Honey shouldn't we do business. It's time we had a child.”

Kanva grinned after that they walked away ignoring Merlisa. Merlisa could only be dumbfounded. He turned around just to see their closeness. Suddenly she discovers that Aria is not an ordinary woman because she is not even angry after listening to her evil words.

He clenched his hands tightly so that his nails stuck sharply into his skin.

Actually it's not only Merlisa who is upset. Aria is also very upset and angry but she tries to suppress her anger until they enter the living room. He immediately jerked Kanva's hand which held his hand.

Kanva was stunned, she knew that Aria was very angry. It never occurred to her that Merlisa would say something that could very well ruin her relationship with Aria.

“Darling, I could have sworn I never talked to her even drank with her. He only talks nonsense.”

Aria walks up and ignores Kanva's explanation.

“Aria...”.

“Sayang...”.

“Honey...”.

Aria walked quickly to her room. He locked his room from the inside as soon as he entered. Kanva chased after him but apparently he could not open the door of his room. He rushed to his study only to find a spare key.

He immediately opened the room door with a spare key but soon after he was kicked out. He tried to enter through the window but just the same, Aria did not allow him to enter.

In the end, Kanva walked into the living room and sat cross-legged on the sofa. He then contemplated. It was as if he was fighting with his own mind.

Then he tries to call Yiren Kanva's friend.

“Halo, Kanva what is it?”

“Your friend is angry with me. Come here and persuade him for me.”

“Why should I?”

“Because you are my only hope.”

“Alright I'll be there.”

Just waiting for a few hours, Yiren had already come to his house. Kanva immediately told the situation. The reason why Aria was angry. Yiren can draw conclusions and the woman certainly supports Aria's decision but here she is asked to persuade Aria. What a great burden did Yiren have to bear.

Yiren nodded. “Everything I just said guessing.”

“Do I have to test him if he really gets his memory back. Should you help me?”

“How?”

Aria gave instructions for Yiren to approach. Yiren leaned forward after that Aria whispered something to him. Yiren's eyes instantly rounded out perfectly.

After that, Aria immediately went down to find Kanva still sitting on the sofa and remained silent.

“Kanva.”

Kanva instantly looked up, “Why is it so long?”

“We were chatting, it looks like he's very angry with you. Try going upstairs and persuade him.”

Kanva immediately slid upwards after hearing Yiren's words. Yiren smiled and immediately followed Kanva. He hid by the door quietly to see what was happening.

Kanva enters the room to find that Aria is lying on the bed with her hands on her stomach and holding some pills. Kanva's eyes immediately looked at the medicine bottle next to her.

Kanva's face immediately turned pale.

“Aria….Aria..”

Kanva tries to wake her but Aria remains silent. His tears had piled up in his eyes but he was trying to calm down and think clearly. With that he remembered Aria would not act this kind of ridiculous.

“Enough! Stop pretending.”

Kanva tries to tickle Aria. Aria instantly flinched due to Kanva's actions.

“Who is pretending?”

“If you don't pretend, why are you using this medicine and trying to scare me. You think I don't know you enough?”

“What do you know about me?”

“I know your character well.”

Aria sat up straight and smiled. Kanva is caught up in his game.

“What is my character like?”

“You will not attempt suicide.”

“Why not?”

“A cowardly woman like you wouldn't dare.”

Aria squinted her eyes. “I'm hungry. Tell Aunt Ine to prepare my favorite meal.”

“Steak and also fried noodles.”

“Yes, bring me the sweetest wine. I want to drink.”

“When do you like to drink? I don't allow you to drink alcoholic beverages. You don't even have the strong smell of alcohol.”

Kanva instantly fell silent as her tongue slipped.

“When did you regain your memory?” Tanya Aria investigated.

Yiren, who was outside, goes to meet Franz to ask about Kanva's situation.
