39. Love Auction

The only reason Aria went to the city of S to come to the famous auction event among the upper society. Aria wants to buy something there. He also bought his own house to live with Zion. And plan to recruit some bodyguards there.

Many people say that the bodyguard agency there is famous for being very capable. It was already past six in the afternoon when he arrived in the city of S. Aria had booked a hotel long ago so she was not confused anymore.

“Yes, I want to go to the auction to see it. I heard many famous paintings at auction there.”

“Do you go alone?” Ask Laskara.

“Aren't you here to go with me?”

Laskara smiled. Aria gets into Laskara's car and their car starts splitting the streets of an unfamiliar city. Aria glanced at Laskara, it seemed like the man had already memorized and understood the streets of this city. Laskara was not confused at all and was already proficient.

After parking the car in the building. Aria and Laskara got out of the car. They walked into the underground passageway. The temperature there was quite warm and also bright, Aria thought the room would be dim.

Laskara took the lead and led him to the chair. Soon after, all the seats were filled with guests who continued to arrive.

“Auction will start soon.”

“Why did he come?” Laskara Mumbles.

Aria then looked towards Laskara look, only to see Kanva. He approached them and finally sat down beside Aria.

“I know you will be here,” said Kanva while looking at Aria.

Aria ignored him as if she had not heard him at all. But Kanva did not mind Aria. He did not feel hurt and ashamed. The man positioned his seat to make it more comfortable.

The auction began.

A man stepped forward and opened the event and read out the series of events. After that everyone applauded. A few minutes later, a woman came out with a jewelry box.

“This deck starts at a price of one hundred million.”

“One hundred fifty million.”

“One hundred twenty million.”

Aria and the people beside her remained silent while the other guests were busy in a frenzy to offer a price. Aria looked left and right, for now a set of jewels was bid two hundred million. And tap the hammer sounding jewelry pierced the lift of two hundred million.

Then the other stuff came. Apparently no one made Aria's interest in buying the items at the auction. Until the end of the auction event was finished, Aria still did not get the item she wanted.

Kanva grabbed Aria's wrist.

Laskara who saw him did not like Kanva's actions. They walked to the elevator. As soon as the elevator opened they came out.

Laskara opened her car. As soon as Aria wants to get into Laskara's car, again Kanva holds Aria's wrist.

“You're coming home with me.”

“I went with Laskara and I will also return with Laskara,” said Aria then let go of Kanva's hand and immediately got into Laskara's car.

Kanva immediately let out a long sigh and signaled Franz to get closer. Then the car stopped next to Kanva. The man immediately entered.

Zion was suddenly sick. The first person he called was his mother. Aria then goes to the hospital because her mother takes Zion to the hospital immediately.
