37. The Pursuit of True Love

Aria, Laskara and Zion go to a lake. Aria wears a hat and looks very casual. While Zion looks very cute with a rabbit bag on her back. While Laskara looks like a plain T-shirt. Looks handsome and energized.

“Are you free today?”

“Yes, I'm free today. Tomorrow I'm going abroad.”

Aria nodded. He and Zion got into the car as soon as the side door was opened by Laskara.

“Did you bring a fishing rod?” Aria asked as soon as Laskara was already beside her.

“Of course,” said Laskara while pressing the gas of her car. On the way, he reopened his train. “I saw the news.”

“What?”

“You invested in the movie,” said Laskara while glancing at Aria.

“Yes, I'm trying something new. Shooting will be done in a few months, I choose some players as I want.”

“News about you and the male actor, Lay? L saw. I was surprised at first to see it but it proved to be just fake news and I am grateful for it.”

“Don't see fake news milling about me. Look at some of the comments that cornered me.”

“They only know you're on the surface but the style is like getting to know you. They're okay about you. Don't mind them.”

On the way, the two chatted while driving. Zion occasionally joined the roar even though the boy's chat was random. While Laskara tells a lot of interesting stories about him. Hearing Laskara speak, Aria can say that Laskara is a disciplined man, her attitude is really principled to impress Aria.

“I can't believe people like you have never dated. Isn't there a beautiful woman there too?”

“Although there are some admirers but I don't like them.”

“What kind of woman do you like? I mean your criteria?” Tanya Aria was curious.

“Last time, I have the criteria of many requirements such as beautiful appearance, good figure, knowledgeable and gentle. But now no longer.”

“So what's your criterion now?”

“That makes me comfortable and of course that makes me feel happy. I just follow my heart.” Laskara's black pupils glistened and applied to Aria as she replied.

“But feelings can be developed based on appearance. If there is an ugly woman, do you still have feelings for her?”

“It depends. A person who is truly in love does not care as much as the appearance of the woman he loves because in his eyes he is very beautiful. Beauty is in the eyes of those who see it. When you have fallen in love automatically all the shortcomings you will accept it with pleasure.”

“Are you okay about that?” Ask Aria.

“It's okay. I will accept that deficiency because I also have a deficiency.”

“Laskara, you really are a good person.”

Laskara smiled immediately. His ears reddened as he blushed in embarrassment due to Aria's praise. In the depths of her heart, she desperately wants Aria to color her life, and form a small family with Zion.

Elsewhere, the pen in Kanva's hand suddenly stopped. He did not sign the documents. Kanva looked up at Franz.

“Repeat what you say?”

“Mrs Aria and Laskara go to the lake. I thought they were having a picnic and also fishing there. The madam also brought along Sion.”

Kanva's face instantly turned grim. He pressed the questioner tightly.

“Follow them.”

“Good,” said Franz straight out of Kanva's room.

Thinking about how Aria and Laskara went to the remote lake made Kanva's brain think of a no-no. After imagining the hot scene, Kanva immediately jumped out of her chair. Kanva immediately felt restless and threatened.

He could no longer focus on his work. He immediately threw his pen at the table and immediately said the suit he attached to his chair earlier. He left his office in a hurry.

Seeing Kanva coming out in a hurry, Franz immediately stood up from his seat.

“Presdir..”

“I have a business.”

“What will the President do?”

As Franz had guessed, Kanva actually went to the lake where Aria, Laskara and Sion went. His car was parked in an empty place. Kanva sees them and hides behind a tree.

Kanva frowned tightly and stomped on the ground in annoyance. He felt very jealous and angry. Especially when they eat ice cream together. Although he could not hear what they were saying, he could see them smiling at each other.

Kanva really couldn't help herself anymore after waiting for an hour, they didn't leave. The kanva then went towards them.

“It looks like we can't eat fish quietly today, let's all get in the car,” Laskara said as soon as she saw Kanva in front of her.

Aria nodded immediately. ”Ya.”

When Aria was about to leave, Kanva immediately stood in front of her to block Aria from leaving.

“What do you do?”

“If you want to fish, you should have told me.”

“Why should I tell you? Who do you think you are?”

Kanva's emotions seem to want to explode but she tries to stay calm.

“Do you want me to tell you who I really am to you in the eyes of that man?”

“Kanva, please stop! We're separated, remember!”

“How can you say we parted when the reality is not yet.”

“I no longer want to deal with you.” After that Aria turned around and carried Zion. While Kanva who wants to chase him is blocked by Laskara.

“Sion!! Don't you want to fish with dad!!!!” Shouted Kanva.

In the car, Aria felt awkward. He's so embarrassed. He had no way of explaining it to Laskara. There was silence in the car. None of them started the conversation.

“Mama,” says Sion.

The little boy pointed at the swarm of birds flying in front of them. Zion looks very excited about the fish that appear there. Sion's rant was able to melt the atmosphere so that Aria could calm her Mood.

Aria turned her head and looked at Laskara who seemed to be looking straight ahead and immersed in her own thoughts.

“Sion seems happy to come here with you this afternoon. Although there are unpleasant intruders.”

“I'm also glad to be able to go with you guys. If there weren't any of you, I would be tired of being alone. But why is he coming?” Ask Laskara.

“I don't know.”

“He's very worried about you. He probably knows that you're going with me. That's why he came.”

“For what he worries me. We've split up.”

“I saw in the news online. You want a farewell. Is that true?”

“No. The news is wrong. He initiated it.”

“Why?”

“Too complicated to explain.”

“Are you guys going back together?”

Aria laughed immediately. “Of course not.”

Laskara stopped the car. The man looked at Aria seriously making Aria swallow her own saliva.

“I know you consider me a friend but I already consider you more than a friend. We rarely meet but every time we meet and spend time together, I think of it as a date.”

A surprised expression clearly seemed to flash across Aria's eyes. He didn't know what to react to.
