I'M NOT A PUPPET
Chapters 12.

The long journey has been taken by newlyweds Rendi and Nida for 3 days. Given the condition of Nida's body that is not healthy, they rest more on the road. This morning they arrived at Rendi's apartment. He deliberately did not bring Nida to his parents' house in order to rest first.

"Let's go in, let's stay here for a while. Later if your body is lightened, then we go to my parents' house" said Rendi while taking his wife to the bedroom.

"You rented this apartment for us to live in?", asked Nida curiously.

"It's my own, baby. Before we got married, I was already living here" said Rendi.

Nida looked around the room. It does seem typical things belong to the man there. The room is also pretty clean and tidy. Maybe it is true that Rendi has long occupied this apartment.

"I think you've been living at home with your parents all this time. I didn't think you had an apartment this big to live in" Nida said.

"I've been independent since I was a child. On the job, I started everything from scratch. My parents may be rich, Nida, but I don't use any of their possessions at all".

"When your mother asked for such a large dowry, I immediately responded. My only intention is to help your mother out of debt bondage. I don't think at all what kind of woman I'm dating" added Rendi.

"In fact, I got more than the money I gave your mother. Even if I had to exchange all my possessions for your sake, I would have Nida. I'm really very willing. I've got the right woman. Both inside and outside. You for me have been very perfect" said Rendi sincerely.

"In a moment, we'll have a baby that I really want. Thank you for the grace and happiness you gave me dear" said Rendi wiped the tears Nida. The man then hugged her tightly.

"You're a good man. I'm sorry if only my body belongs to you. My heart belongs to someone else. And until this moment, I still love her", Nida's inner self is poignant.

"You just rest. I went out to the supermarket for a while. Our fridge is empty, let me do the shopping. People say pregnant women often feel hungry at night. I don't want you two to go hungry" said Rendi, stroking Nida's friendly stomach.

"Thank you very much, sorry I can't accompany you this time" Nida said with a smile.

Rendi rushes out of the apartment while wearing her jacket. He drove to the supermarket around the apartment. Rendi bought all the small meals as well as fruits for Nida.

Meanwhile, at Nida's house, Ms. Norma looks agitated. He called Nida repeatedly, but did not respond. It's been almost a month since the wedding, and her daughter has disappeared without any news.

The shadow of so much money was already on his mind. Just to persuade Nida to want a divorce with Rendi. Then Norma's mom will be a rich man. The coffers of money will flow from Eri's pocket. But, it's annoying that until now Nida has not heard.

"Are you still not able to contact Nida?", asked Ms. Norma to her two daughters.

"It's mom, they're on their honeymoon. It's not good to disturb the newlyweds" he said.

The two daughters of Norma's mother were astonished to see her mother's annoyance. They went to their rooms, afraid that Norma would do something again.

Nida was closing her eyes. But from that moment her stomach felt nauseous. His body was weak without power. Moreover, he had just returned from a long journey. His body condition has really decreased drastically.

Nida stared at her phone screen at a glance. A lot of messages and calls from Eri have been ignored since a few days ago. Really, Nida will not dare to face Eri when she later knows that she contains Rendi's baby.

Nida put her phone back in the bag. For now what is needed is calmness, so that the condition of his body immediately improves. He'll see Eri when he's healthy.

From inside the room, there was a sound of the door opening.

Maybe Randy is back. Nida hurried up and walked out of the room. At his view, Rendi went inside with both hands full of groceries.

"Honey, you shouldn't wake up, I can do it myself" said Rendi.

"Well, my body is much better now" replied Nida.

"After all, I don't need to be spoiled, just because I'm pregnant right?. I'm expensively planning on leaving for work next Monday" Nida said.

Rendi was a little surprised to hear his wife's statement. The thing Nida said was completely unfathomable in her mind. Rendi placed the groceries on the kitchen table and walked over to Nida.

He hugged his wife from behind suddenly. Rendi's head rested on Nida's shoulder, while stroking his wife's flat stomach.

"Darling, how about you quit your job. I want you to just focus on taking care of me and our son. For money, let me look for him. Stay at home and take care of our household", whispered Rendi down near the ears of his wife.

"After all, I'm glad that my wife is being spoiled for me. I will always try to fulfill the wishes of the two of you", added Rendi again.

Nida wanted to argue, but again her tongue was confused.

Rendi means well, but according to her it will only make her feel like a house arrest. However, Nida still wants to be active outside. At least keep her own sanity from feeling pressure.

"What a pity, you agree that you're resigning. I don't want you to be too tired and eventually your health is compromised" said Rendi, holding Nida's chin and kissing her cheek at a glance.

"I'll think about it first. I'm afraid of being bored at home alone when you're at work" Nida replied.

Nida was still silent in her husband's arms.Ethat's what she should do now. Clearly, Nida still wants to be able to work as usual.
