I'M NOT A PUPPET
Chapter 8.

Nida woke up early in the morning. At his sight Rendi was still asleep. Nida hurriedly changed clothes and left the room. He was sure that Rendi would still sleep for a long time, considering that last night she did not close her eyes at all. Rendi knows very well how to make the most of the honeymoon with his wife. Almost the whole night Rendi hooked Nida. It was as if he was never satisfied. In fact, both of them just fell asleep in the morning.

Nida walked to the beach. The plan is to see Eri. Nida had already left a message for Rendi when she woke up and looked for him later. They will only talk briefly.

Nida sped up her steps as she saw Eri standing near the reef. As soon as she arrived, Nida was surprised because Eri immediately hugged her.

"Take off Eri, don't be like this. It could be bad if Rendi sees you later" said Nida worried.

"You shut up, baby. Just for a moment, let me hug you. I'm no longer able to hold back my longing for you", whispered Eri in Nida's ear.

Nida tries to free herself from Eri's embrace. He felt bad when he got to see people.While Eri stared intently at Nida. He was amazed to see the change in his attitude.

"Take care of your attitude Eri. I've become someone's wife. Don't let us make a scandal",

nida tried to explain.

"I don't care. I had you first. Until whenever no one will be able to take you away from me, not even that jerk guy" Eri shouted furiously.

"I knew it was Eri, but the situation was different now. My father's honor is at stake. And I had to do this" said Nida.

He's already starting to sob. Both have been in love for a long time. It will not be easy to remove it overnight.

"Certify him!!!. I'm almost crazy every time I see her touch you. Or, are you getting used to being his wife?",

shouted Eri angry.

"That's not true Eri. I'm the only one who knows how tormented I am right now. My own mother lied and sold myself to make money.

People I love and respect, I could do this to me".

Nida could no longer hold back her tears. Only Eri, she can uncover all the things that are stuck in her heart. Eri grabbed Nida's body and hugged her. Nida

tears were pouring down Eri's jacket. It feels really relieved to be able to vent tightness in the heart, after a few days Nida harbored it.

"I'll marry you as soon as I can. Take care of your divorce after coming home from here" said Eri decided.

Nida let go of her embrace and looked back at Eri's eyes. There is seriousness behind his words. But, Nida knows herself enough. He can't just destroy Eri's future.

"Don't worry about me, finish your college first. For now, that's more important than anything. Your parents have high hopes for you. Don't let you waste it

their trust" Nida continued.

"What does it mean to be successful without yourself beside me Nida. I can continue college even though I'm married", Eri shouted again.

"You won't understand Eri. Everything will not be the same when your focus on education is divided. Ku

Eri again grabbed Nida's body. They hugged for quite a while. Until Nida finally let go of her embrace and was about to return to the hotel. Eri held Nida's hand and kissed her softly.

"We can still meet, right?. I won't stand having to endure longs" he told Nida.

Nida nodded and smiled. He turned around and walked away leaving Eri in front of the rock. There were tears flowing down her cheeks. It's not the same now. Even Nida no longer had anything to be proud of Eri. All that was left was a sincere and faithful promise in his heart.

Rendi's eyes were still closed, but her hands were touching the bed next to her. When he realized that his wife was not there, then Rendi woke up and shouted to call Nida.

"Darling, are you in the bathroom?". Ask Rendi.

There is no law at all. Rendi immediately woke up and took a towel to wrap around her body. He saw orange juice and toast on the bedside table. Along with a piece of paper with a message from Nida.

Rendi sat on the edge of the bed and drank her orange juice after reading Dena's message. Not long before the sound of the door opening. Dena went into the room smiling.

"You should say if you want to go for a walk, I can accompany you" said Rendi.

"You're still asleep, I can't wake you up. I'm just for a minute anyway. Just want to get some fresh air" she replied, taking a glass of water and drinking it.

"Next time don't go alone. I don't want anything to happen to you, she said again.

Rendi put down her empty glass and walked to the bathroom.How long, it sounded gurgling air shower that is in use Rendi for bathing. Nida immediately ordered breakfast for the two of them. Maybe Rendi was a little upset because she was hungry.

After showering and getting dressed, both

continue the breakfast. Rendi told Nida to prepare. Today they will both go for a walk and buy souvenirs. Rendi was bored for two days in her hotel room. Her time pleases Nida by taking her shopping.

Not many words were said from Nida's mouth. She immediately complied with her husband's will.Also her feelings were still chaotic after meeting with Eri earlier. He looks like a puppet. His body was with Rendi, his heart was with Eri.

While Nida is still on her honeymoon in Bali, Ms. Norma looks restless. He seemed to be pacing back and forth in the living room. Their families are gathering on Sundays like this.

Not without reason, Ms. Norma was feeling restless. Nida's phone has been active since last night. But he never returned his message or called him. Ms. Norma wanted to give her some good news.

"It's mom, let Nida enjoy her honeymoon with her husband. Don't bother him anymore" said the upset father.

"The father is how, the mother just wants to fix the mistakes of the mother. Nida has to divorce Rendi right now", Norma continued without guilt.

At Norma's words, Nida's father and two older sisters were shocked.

They were not finished with the crazy idea that was thrown by his mother. What else was on the woman's mind this time. The three people really could not understand it.
