I'M NOT A PUPPET
Episode 14's.

Nida bit her lower lip tightly. His heart was like a sembilu, when he saw Eri's sad gaze, just after he came out of the store. The heart wound felt by Eri was the same as his current feelings.

Wanting Nida to run after Eri and embrace him, what power Nida, she was unable to do anything.

"You don't like the model, honey?. I'll have the waiter bring me another model then" Rendi said as she looked blankly at his wife's face.

"Don't you, it's great, I like it so much. We choose this only. If later here, we can stay at home" said Nida covering her feelings.

Randy agreed too. She immediately paid for the jewelry that Nida had worn. After that, the two immediately left the store heading to Rendi's parents' house.

In the car, Nida opens her phone and reads the incoming message she just received from Eri.

"Meet me tomorrow afternoon at the usual place. 1 hour you don't show up, I'll be desperate for your apartment" Eri wrote. Nida replies briefly to the chat and hastily puts her phone in a bag.

"Message from whom, dear?. Did your mother call you?", asked Rendi.

"Not mas, my coworkers used to want to meet me" Nida said.

"Don't, I don't want anything to do with your pregnancy. Later if they take off work, let them come to our apartment", ordered Rendi.

This was what Nida had feared all along. Her space was limited after she got married. Her freedom was snatched away, changed by rules and ties that made her chest even more claustrophobic. Not to mention the pregnancy that comes at an unplanned time. Nida seemed to want to shout loudly, throwing all the flavors that have been almost 1 month in her pendam.

Nida also tried to give a smile to Rendi. The two entered hand in hand. Ms. Endang and her sumi were seen standing in the living room, welcoming the arrival of her son and daughter-in-law.

"Honey,, it's so good to see you guys. Melisa told me everything. What about your pregnancy, is it okay Nida?", said Ms Endang while stroking Nida's stomach, after previously kissing her daughter-in-law's cheek.

"Ah. Rule right, it's a surprise for mama and papa", Rendi was upset.

"It doesn't matter who told you. The most important thing is that you can go home safely" said Mr. Beni, Rendi's father.

"Sorry mom, we can't do much shopping. This is all we can bring for you" said Nida hesitantly while handing over a package of souvenirs in a special message by Rendi.

"Look baby, my mom is ready. They say young pregnant women like to eat like this" Ms Endang said.

"Hmm...on seeing his daughter-in-law, mama forgot her own child, right pa?", said Rendi.

Bu Endang just sneered, hearing Rendi's words. He was busy serving food to his son-in-law. Understandably, Rendi is the only son of his puppet. So Ms. Endang was so happy to hear that she was going to hold a grandchild soon.

Nida looked at the dish that was in front of her. From ice cream to pickled, complete is available. Of course, the food was very desirable. As a result, his lunch this time managed to raise his mood that was falling apart due to meeting Eri earlier.

"You're not saying that our baby cravings salty and fujak. Know that I can order for you" said Rendi.

Nida did not even answer. He was busy eating his food. The four of them chatted until they forgot about time. It's almost afternoon, and the two haven't been to Nida's parents' house.

For that, Rendi immediately invited Nida to her parents' house. When saying goodbye, Miss Endang asked Nida and Rendi to stay with them only. Instead of having to live alone in the apartment, it would be better if together occupy his house.

Rendi did not give an answer, but promised to think about it.

While on the road to her parents' house, Nida advised Rendi not to linger and immediately invited her home. Nida also requested that Rendi keep her pregnancy a secret, so that her mother did not take the whole of Nida's current state.

"I'm still upset with my mom, so I'm lazy to meet her" Nida added.

"It's not like that.I love you now. Our baby will be born soon. So don't say that anymore" said Rendi.

Other women might be flattered to hear these words of Rendi. But, for some reason Nida's heart had not been moved. All this time, it was only his duty to serve Rendi. Because in fact in Nida's heart there is still the name Eri. A love that has been so long, it is hard to lose in an instant.

"You daydream again. We're almost there. This is extra money for your mother. I'm sure he must have liked it" Rendi said, handing him an envelope with 10 million.

"Don't, just keep it. I don't want you to spoil mom too much. He has to learn that relationships are not just based on money" Nida says.

Rendi agrees with Nida. He even handed the envelope of money to her. Whatever, what Nida wants to use for. But Rendi won't take her anymore.
