The Xiao Chen POV

"Your Majesty, I don't mean brother please don't go tomorrow." I begged him with a glass.

After a long time of silence, maybe my brother is thinking about the meaning of my words. He also began to make his voice.

"I'll keep going." He said seriously, it seems like His Highness the Crown Prince has already understood my words.

"I won't let you go, brother. I don't want to see you hurt!." I said loudly.

The Crown Prince turned his gaze to me. And I caught a gaze that was conditional on deep sorrow. Makes me feel glued when I see it.

"Wakeup. It wasn't all your fault. Stop blaming yourself. And throw away your hate on your mother. I'll be fine. Trust me." He said ambiguously and walked away leaving me who was still faithful to sit here.

I still remember that brief meeting with my first brother this morning. Makes me not tasteful just to enjoy some of the food available in front of me.

I just stirred up my food with one hand propping my head. The words from him still ring in my brain.

"Your Majesty..." Call uncle Lie.

"Hm..." I muttered, I heard him talking to me but I didn't make a sound just to reply.

"What really happened, Your Majesty?. Why are you being like this?." Uncle Lie looked worried about my circumstances being different than usual.

I got up from my seat and wanted to leave, but Uncle Lie prevented me by standing in front of me to block the way while stretching out his arms.

"Side uncle I'm going through." I said lazily.

"Where else do you want to go, Your Majesty?." Uncle Lie asked again.

"Meet my mother." Cuek.

"Can't be Your Majesty. Did you forget, today the Royal Concubines will go from the palace to pray in the temple." Uncle Lie reminded me.

"really?. When are they coming back?." I asked because I forgot.

"Yes right, Your Majesty. About three days they'll be at the palace." Clearly me.

This is the only way I can protect the Crown Prince, my brother. I won't let him get hurt by my mother's behavior.
