CHAPTER 22

The Prime Minister is preparing to go to the palace for a meeting. A middle-aged woman came carrying a tray containing some food.

"My husband, I've prepared food for you. Eat before you leave." Soft talk. That woman is Lady Lien, his wife.

"Just put it there, I'm still fixing my clothes." Reply while tidying up.

Lady Lien put the tray on the table and arranged the food she brought. He sat in one of the chairs there. She looked at her husband who was now turning her back.

"My husband, why are you saying that to Lien Hua?. Did you know he might be saddened by what you said." Mrs Lien talked about what the Prime Minister said to her daughter yesterday.

The Prime Minister who heard the words of his wife could only sigh.

"I don't mean to make her sad my wife. You know I love our daughter so much. That's why I want him to be safe. You also know that I have always been faithful in serving His Majesty the King, I do not want that the Crown Prince who is his son will be in danger if he continues to be beside our daughter." Obviously at length to his wife, trying to make him understand the decision he took.

"You must also remember the events that have happened to our daughter, and it will continue to go on for some time when I also do not know. It'd be better if we didn't bring the two of them closer together. It's possible that it could keep them both safe from the lurking dangers." Continue with a sad tone.

Madam Lien could only show a sad expression with teary eyes after hearing the explanation from her husband. And the husband just rubbed his wife's back dear.

Liliana A.k.a Xiao Hui POV

I and teacher Feng Ying are currently racing horses very quickly. I don't want to waste too much time. After a few hours we decided to rest in a shop. Racing a horse turns out to be very tiring especially at full speed.

A waiter approached when we were sitting in the store. And he asked what we were going to order. He asked in a friendly manner.

"Sir what do you want to order?." Ask a woman who works as a waiter. She was quite pretty, and it made me look fed up at the face of teacher Feng Ying who saw her.

"I've seen my order. You're so pretty.." Master Feng Ying's eyes stared pervertedly at the servant, making me want to kick him out of here for a moment.

I stared at him sharply, trying to code him to stop his behavior immediately. Is he not ashamed?. But teacher Feng Ying ignored me instead.

"Ekhem... We ordered food and drinks instead of women." I stopped the teacher's action by ordering first and then pressed the word 'woman' very clearly. Master Feng Ying snickered at me, and I only retorted by ignoring him.

"Yes sir.." The waiter walked away to get my order.

"Stop doing things like that teacher, remember your age. If you want to still play with a woman like that, who will want to marry you?." I said so because teacher Feng Ying was unceasingly looking at me with a look of regret.

"Aren't you the one who told me to do this when I'm bored, but now what?. You are so plentiful in your Majesty's plan?!." He bent his face upset because I was trying to get him to play with women.

I breathed a look at her behavior. I turned my gaze to this entire tavern, looking for something that would probably be interesting rather than looking at teacher Feng Ying's tangled face. But nothing, nothing draws my eyes here.

"Master... Please this is my order." The waiter brought me some food and drinks I ordered.

"Your Majesty... I'm still wondering why you don't want to go with the soldiers. Wouldn't it be safer if we left with them?." Apparently the annoyance of teacher Feng Ying earlier had already partially disappeared.

"Do you think I was thrown into this age aimlessly?." Says seriously.

"Why did you get to be here?." He asked with a serious face.

"I was sent here to root out seductresses and people who play women." Reply to her while grinning.

"Yeah!..." Shouted Master Feng Ying back annoyed at me. But I don't care about him.

"Hohoho.. Is that how you talk to me teacher?, you forget who you're dealing with?." I returned to displaying my signature smirk. A snort finally came out of his mouth. And I just smiled a little while shaking my head looking at it.

'It's funny how he behaves. Hahaha' My inner laugh has made a legendary swordsman angry. Although only a handful of people knew he was a legendary swordsman.

"Pardon Your Majesty's most High servant." Say it while hissing and make me no longer able to hold back laughter. And my laughter broke instantly.

"Is that so funny?!." He massaged his forehead because I laughed at him.

"At least I won't get bored on the way, if I can upset you a little I'll get a funny spectacle for free." I stopped my laughter and avenged her origin.

"alright.. All right, it's up to you. But it's also impossible if you were sent here without doing anything, isn't it?." Teacher Feng Ying changed her expression to be so serious and I just looked at her flat.

"Of course there's something I have to do here. Therefore I do not want to linger in the journey. I don't have much time to finish." Obviously to him.

"What do you have to do in such a short time?." We got into a very serious conversation, but it made me uncomfortable.

"It's actually a long time, it's just that I haven't started yet. This task could help the Crown Prince to eliminate the bad picture of him on everyone. I'll explain it again on the way. It's better now that we eat before the food gets cold" I explained.

We both stopped the conversation and ate quietly as well calmly. My stomach that had continued to rebel because of hunger was now finally able to calm down after eating voraciously.

The journey continues and we are currently passing through a forest. It was still daytime, the scorching sun was so stinging that teacher Feng Ying suggested continuing the journey through the forest.

This forest is very lush, but the air is still fresh inhaled even though it is noon. Here is also not too hot, tree branches filled with leaves as if to protect us from the heat of the sun.

"Teacher are you sure we'll make it through this forest too?." I asked who was still in doubt.

"Of course Your Majesty. This forest was indeed the fastest shortcut to being able to go to Lin kingdom. The king also used to pass by here if he visited there." We were still riding the horse but not going as fast as before, we were walking normally.

"All right then." I answered that ended our conversation.

It doesn't feel like it's late afternoon. Soon the night will be approaching but in the middle of the journey we both heard a voice.

"PLEASE!!!!!... HELP!!!.... HELP!!! WHOEVER HELP!!..." A woman's voice shouted for help.

"Teacher did you hear anything?." I asked to make sure I wasn't the only one who heard it. Well just in case if it's not an occult sound. Oi.. It's in the woods especially by nightfall. I was a little creepy, though still calm.

Master Feng Ying directly launched his horse making me shocked by his actions. I just asked, but he ignored me.

"Basic perverted old man!. Ck. Was he not worried that this master of his was in danger if left alone. Aish..." Umpatku because he left me and instead ran towards the source of the sound. I took a breath and then followed him.

I was still cursing at length during my pursuit. Did he forget I was a girl too?. Ah forget it thankfully I am here I am not a woman, if I can be sure I will burn her alive if you dare to tease me.
