I Will Avoid The Death Flag [It's Published]
15. Rexanne

The horse-drawn carriage with the coat of arms of the Asher Kingdom stopped in front of the largest temple in the Capital of Celion.

Shortly thereafter, the magnificent-looking carriage door was opened by a coachman with good etiquette.

After the door opened, the first member of the royal family was Viten, the second was Cioten, and the last was me.

Everyone who visited the Sun God Temple automatically pulled over and let us walk in their midst.

I could then immediately listen to the clear whispers of the temple visitors.

"Is he the Princess? I've only seen the Princess's face for the first time."

"Mr Princess seems so pretty."

"To be more precise, the Princess is like an angel from heaven descending to earth."

"Mr Princess said she had no interest in the throne, huh?"

"His Majesty the King and His Highness the Prince have sworn the Princess as their younger brother."

"Is today the day for the Middle Names Ceremony for the Princess?"

"I didn't know that the Princess would be performing the ceremony today. No, rather, no one knows it."

I just pulled the two corners of my lips together to form a gentle and friendly smile in every eye of the Asher people. This is one of my ways to attract the hearts of people. At least, looking friendly even though I don't want it is the thing I need to do to attract the hearts of the Asher people who still haven't one hundred percent given their trust in me.

The rumors have spread perfectly.

Our goal to come to the Sun God Temple without any prior notice to the Asher people was deliberate. That's because we plan to get people to spread rumors for the sake of the rumors they know.

From what I learned, people would whisper about rumors they knew when the rumored person was in front of them.

Unlike when we announced the notice for my ceremony, then the Sun God Temple would automatically be emptied as a private place until we entered the special ceremony room. It will make the rumor spread plan to be a complete failure and it could be that the rumors spread can not be controlled or predicted. Worse, the rumors will turn against me.

The more we approached the temple door, the clearer were the whispers of the Asher people heard in my sense of hearing.

The judgment-filled spy looked at me nyalang and took a look. Really disturbing. Are they so thirsty about judgment and power that they look at me like that?

Meanwhile, I looked towards Viten who was walking with a resolute political smile. While Cioten smiled humorously while waving his hands to all his people.

Really the same brother. Wearing a mask behind their psychopathic nature.

"Shining the Sun of Asher."

A priest bowed his head deeply at us after we stood outside the temple door. The priest then said that he would guide us to the ceremony room.

We passed by a large and magnificent prayer room. Every corner of the place that my eyes could reach, there were many people praying fervently here. The giant pole after pole was neat and elegant. Not to forget, there are some fancy chandeliers that stick tightly to the ceiling. The temple which is dominated by white and gold adds to the impression of real grandeur.

After passing through the prayer hall, we entered a door in the prayer hall.

That door led straight into a quiet and spacious passageway. So vast, five people lined up side by side still leaves space.

Plus, the gold-embroidered red carpet we stepped on was apparently so soft. Even though I was wearing high heels, I could still feel the softness on my feet when stepping on this embroidered carpet.

After passing through a long hallway, which I could deduce as a passage that no one could pass through, we arrived at a room ten times ten centimeters wide.

Inside the room, there stood a smiling Great Priest behind a small pond on the throne. It is about the size of an adult waist, round in shape. It's silver. Inside, there was water shining while giving off a holy aura.

When I looked to the left and right sides of the room, many warriors and knights were stationed to guard us. The guard for the royal family is indeed this tight, so I need to get used to this sooner or later.

Not to forget, there is also Sir Derick who has already taken his place next to the elegant carved door and sends a strong aesthetic.

Meanwhile, Viten and Cioten were directed to a podium and sat on an expensive velvet chair escorted by several knights. To keep their king safe from distress.

"Hello, Princess. This is our first meeting, right? My name is Troite Alinskie, the Great Priestess of the Sun God Temple."

"Hohohoo. I know that, Princess. And don't be formal with me. I'm only the Great Priestess, not a Cardinal equivalent to you, Princess."

"Then I will."

"I was expecting that, Princess. Then, can we begin this sacred ceremony?"

I nodded steadily, making Troite smile softly.

He then read or cast something like a mantra in a language I did not know for a long time. His hand moved in the air and a beam of light lit up at the end of his index finger, then he placed the light in the holy water. The golden light floated in the holy water, mixed for a moment, then settled like oil in the water.

"Lord Princess, please give your blood to the Sacred Pool."

A priest handed me a gold needle on a silver tray. I received the needle and stuck it into the tip of my index finger. Lastly, I dripped a few drops of blood into the Sacred Pool.

"Daughter, please repeat my sentence" Troite said.

I'm nodding.

"Great Sun God, please accept my offering and give me Your holy blessing."

I repeated that sentence and the sring!

The golden light in the Sacred Pool increasingly shone brightly. The light even filled the room which made the vision blurry. Blinded the view for a moment.

"I-It ...!"

I could hear Troite's voice seeming surprised and trembling.

A moment later, the golden light dimmed and the network of ancient letters within the Sacred Pool was now clearly visible. I can't read those letters. It was not the language of the Asher Kingdom or Matria that I could understand because it was the body of Serethy that held many memories. That is, it was another language that Serethy had never learned before.

"No way!" troite shouted in disbelief.

"Great Priest." Viten's voice echoed in the room. The voice was cold and had anticipated something bad. "Say what it is."

"Well, Your Majesty!" Troite's body trembled for a moment, his eyes then glanced at me and shifted his gaze quickly. It was as if he didn't really dare to look at both of my eyeballs. "The Princess' middle name is Rexanne. You are Serethy Rexanne Asher. Rexanne which means .. queen."

Everyone in the room immediately gasped. The whispers then filled the air in the room. While I can only be confused.

Rexanne means queen. Isn't that a cool name? Maybe this name will become a trend of society in the future. I can imagine a lot of kids getting Rexanne's name because it's really cool.

It's just that the mindset of others and my mindset are opposite. This can be evidenced by the noise of the soldiers and priests whispering to each other.

"Don't let this name spread until I tell you to spread it!" Viten stood up from his chair and shouted at everyone in the room.

This room was immediately quiet as Viten spoke up.

"Don't let people know about this. It's just you guys. I give you the privilege to know." Viten then placed his index finger on his own lips, code for everyone in the room to shut up.

Viten then slowly approached me. "You ...."

But he seemed unable to finish his sentence.

Viten grimaced softly, then sighed in frustration.

I glanced at Cioten who was still sitting on the velvet chair, his face seemed to say that this was an exciting drama. If in this century there was popcorn, maybe Cioten had asked the waiter to bring it.

"Serethy."

I looked at Viten. "Yes, Your Majesty? Tell me that."

"Do you seriously not want to marry me?"

I blinked and gaped wide. Forgetting the dignity and etiquette of being the Princess. Anyway, I was very surprised. What the fuck? He proposed to me, again?!
