Kenan glanced at the circular watch on his wrist, his smile rising and rushing away.
"Kiran is done school, I'll pick him up first before going to campus" he murmured as he continued walking out to the parking lot.
"Jiang, Mr. Kenan!" greet the parking guards kindly.
"Jiang, Sir!" Kenan smiled kindly continuing his steps towards his own car.
"Good and honest people will be lucky. Mr. Kenan for example, he gives us a valuable lesson that if work must be from the heart and honestly respected." A friend patted the shoulder of the parking guard who was still staring at Kenan's departure.
"You're right, Mr. Kenan is indeed a good young man. He is also diligent and never complains" he said with a smile as he recalled the days of Kenan working as a waitress even though only part-time. The young man often shared food when he received a small salary.
Uhuk-uhuk!
Kenan coughed suddenly, his throat dry and itchy. He took mineral water and gulped it down.
"Ekhem! Why am I suddenly coughing?" chirps while continuing to step on the gas pedal towards Kiran's school.
On time, the bell rang and the children rushed out to meet their parents who were waiting. Kenan came out and waited in the usual place, he saw Kiran walking along with the other students.
There was something that caught Kenan's attention, his little girl surrounded by three friends who continued to talk. Kiran lowered her head deeply, her face looking lethargic and grim.
Kenan frowned, there was something that his little girl had been hiding all along. He tried to get closer wanting to hear what the other three little girls said.
"That kiran has no parents, he just lives with his poor brother. Eating just hard how would you pay for that very expensive graduation fee? You're gonna stay at this school, Kiran." They were compactly laughing, laughing at the little girl who continued to look down miserably.
"Then, on graduation day Kiran will not be accompanied by parents? That so?" the rest of the rest increasingly tore apart Kiran's fragile feelings. He had just risen from the slump, now he had something unpleasant.
Kenan growled, his jaw tightening causing a real rumbling sound.
"You take it easy, Kiran. After graduation we will visit you often in this school." Laughter is back heard. Kenan clenched tightly his hands, he was still standing there even though the three children had left.
Looking sad at the figure of the sister who was so tough facing insults. The step he was about to take was when Kiran raised her face and took a rough breath.
"It's okay, Brother is more than enough for me. If there are no parents, I still have a great Brother!" he said that the lips that had fallen had been lifted up high. Form a sweet smile, a smile of firmness.
Kenan frowned, he turned around and stuck his back on the wall. Looking sad, never knowing the days passed by the sister as bitter as it was and she still praised herself great.
"Thank you, baby. I promise I'll do anything to keep you smiling." He lowered his gaze, staring softly at the small back that was walking cheerfully.
Kenan hurried away leaving his place eavesdropping. He did not want Kiran insulted again, after planning, he boarded his car. The three students were still there, and Kiran was left behind. Kenan accidentally stopped his car right in front of the school gate.
Making the steps of the students and their parents come to a halt, staring curiously at who the car owner was. Kenan opened the car glass, he looked handsome with sunglasses perched on his nose.
His lips smiled as he looked at Kiran who was walking slowly. Kenan came out and waited for his brother near the car. His hands were folded over his chest with his back resting on the body of the car.
The three students who were insulting Kiran were in their place, along with the parents. Kenan waved as Kiran's little legs ran towards him.
"Sister!" he cried cheerfully. Kenan got up, grabbed Kiran's small body in a sling and kissed her cheek.
He smiled mocking the three friends who insulted him. They really couldn't believe it was poor Brother Kiran.
"Wind it." Kenan opened the door for her. Leaving the car window open so Kiran could see all her friends.
The little girl waved at those who were still in disbelief. Kenan smiled with satisfaction from behind his sunglasses.
Never insult my little girl!
"Sister has brought food, after arriving home immediately eat and rest. Remember, not to go out of the house. Outside is very dangerous for you when you're alone" Kenan said as usual.
"Good, Brother."
The car continues to go at a moderate speed. Luckily, the road was not too jammed. He could quickly drop Kiran off and onto campus afterwards.
"Make sure all doors and windows are locked!" Kiran nodded as she entered the gate of the house, locking it before taking a step up the terrace steps.
Kenan runs his car after making sure Kiran is inside the house. The shadow of Regan's face is already present in the fertilizer, impatiently want to immediately greet with his old friend.
Kenan's car entered the campus area, coincidentally the break rang. The students scatter out, Regan gets ready for the match. His chest was pounding awaiting Kenan's arrival.
The young man got out of the car, wearing an official uniform as well as the sunglasses he had deliberately installed. Start walking into the campus area that he has memorized properly.
"Henner!" Yuki shouted out loud. The girl quickly ran from the second floor of the campus towards where Kenan was.
"Hen?" The murmurs of the other students were heard. Those who are curious because of the news of Kenan who changed were rushing closer to the barrier.
All the students were flabbergasted to see a dashing-looking young man standing up with a beaming smile. Kenan opened the glasses when Yuki was about to approach. No doubt, the girl dropped into Kenan's arms. Cheering all students, between believing and not with what their eyes see.
"You're so excited?" kenan whispered in Yuki's ear. The girl bristled, tightening the embrace hiding her reddened ears.
He wanted to show everyone who had insulted Kenan on campus that the young man they despised had changed. He took off a hug, and holding Kenan's hand entered the hallway of the campus.
Their goal sports building, after the break hours the game will begin.
"Teddi, Kenan is here!" report one of Teddi's friends with gasps as a result of running into the building.
Teddi, who was changing clothes, was interrupted by the news. He still did not accept his defeat that morning, and considered Kenan was only lucky at that time.
"You know, Yuki hugged her. I saw it for myself," he continued. Teddi growled, the girl completely ignored him and chose Kenan.
Regan who heard, hurriedly put on her uniform and walked out of the room, but someone scuttled her steps.
