Kenan's Destiny

Kenan's Destiny
Ibu?

"Shaka, can you tell me how you were in the tribe?" ask Kenan who accompanied Shaka's night at the hospital.

The young man in black was stunned, recalling what he had been through for over twenty years with the cannibal tribe in the forbidden forest.

"I don't really remember it, Baba just said that she found me on the edge of the forbidden forest. Crying alone without a thread. It rained that night, I was dying. Baba took me to her tribe, and took care of me in spite of death. But Baba and the others never let me touch their food." Shaka looked up at the ceiling of the room, remembering the kindness of the old man who became the leader of the tribe.

"He is not evil, nor do they always eat human flesh. More often it is eating the meat of the animals we hunt in the forest. Our tribe will eat human flesh when there are humans who damage the forest. That's the fact, but the news came out that we always kidnap children for food. I never saw that" Shaka said again, shaking his head in denial of the news circulating in the community.

Shaka was speechless, staring at Kenan's brown bead deeply. He did not expect that he still had a family other than those in the tribe. Kenan was silent to listen, he was stunned when he heard new facts about the meat-eating tribe.

"Is it really like that?" Shaka nodded his head making sure what he said was true.

"When our full moon ritual uses human blood that Baba has on her to strengthen her body. Like I did that night, you saw it yourself, didn't you? It's human blood." Shaka said honestly because none of the tribes were left. Everything was destroyed along with the death of the leader.

"But why would he consider you his son? So, what was the wedding done for?" Kenan remembered Yuki that night who was going to be married to Shaka.

The young man let out a long sigh, he looked back at the ceiling of the room imagining the events of that night.

"As a future tribal leader, I must marry. Baba said that her life would not be long. Therefore, I, the strongest among the others, must ascend the throne in his place. It was all by agreement of the entire tribe, as well as Baba's absolute decision. That marriage will further strengthen my position as a leader" Shaka explained.

The ripples on his face turned mellow, maybe he wanted the position, but due to the incident of Yuki's abduction everything fell apart.

"Why should Yuki?" press Kenan unconsciously.

"It's not because the girl's future wife, Kenan, but because the girl that the young boy handed over is still holy then we don't need to go out into the forest to search anymore. I don't know if that girl is precious to you, and I don't know if you're my brother either. I'm sorry," Shaka said.

Deep down, he did not want to return to the tribe. Living in the woods with all the lag, she wants to live a normal life as the woman who once nurtured her says. In the city, family.

"That's it, there's no need to talk about it anymore. Next, do you want to go back to that forest and rebuild your tribe?" asked Kenan curious about Shaka's next destination.

The young man shook his head, his eyes were cute and full of determination.

"I want to live a normal life, Kenan. I don't want to go back to that forest again even though Baba has been very meritorious in my life, but I want to live my own. Work and have a happy family. That's what the woman who took care of me said" Shaka replied.

Kenan's smile rose perfectly, that's what he wanted. Gathering with family and forming a family.

"You know, that's what I want to hear. If you recover later, I'll take you home. I'll introduce you to Dad and Kiran" said Kenan enthusiastically.

"Mother?" shaka asked with hope. It's only Mom she knows, for Dad she doesn't know what it is. Also Kiran, who and how?

"Mother ..he died when Kiran was born, but you will know Mother by just looking at our sister. She was exactly like Mom, her face, her attitude and manner, not to forget she was always cheerful. Smiling all the time, you'll love it" Kenan replied trying to hide his sadness as Shaka asked about Mom.

"So, you're buried just like all my other mothers? I still don't have a mother?" Shaka trembled, he stared at Kenan. Not accepting the story that was written for him.

Shaka wants to have Mother, the treatment and every strand of the word that is spoken, always stuck in the heart. He wants to meet Mom, hugging and spilling all restless and restless without being reproached and scolded. Mom, she just wants Mom.

"It's okay, we'll visit Mom's grave together. At home there's Dad, Dad just like Mom. The love, just as much as you give. You don't feel sad." Kenan patted his shoulder, rubbing it gently.

Shaka let out a long sigh, he nodded in agreement. Kenan helped her lie down because the night had reached its peak. He himself lay on the sofa, waiting for Shaka.

The next day, Kenan's sleep is interrupted by something tickling his ear. Switch to the nostrils, continue to the ears again. Kenan brushed off the ignorant hand, but still the thing that tickled his sleep continued to feel.

The giggling sound of laughter made Kenan want to open his eyes immediately, but it really felt heavy.

"Shaka?" He muttered furiously as he opened his eyes and found Shaka crouching beside his bed sofa.

"You're so good. When are we going home? I can't wait to meet Father and Sister" Shaka said with a sparkling face.

Kenan sat up, he yawned wide and stretched his hands relax the muscles that felt stiff and painful. Staring lazily at Shaka who was still waiting for him with a smile on his face.

"It's still too early, how are you? Is it better? If you're still uncomfortable, you can't go home yet" said Kenan, who yawned from sleepiness.

Shaka took a look at his own body, confused as to what kind of circumstances Kenan was asking.

"I'm doing fine. You see, I don't feel pain anymore. Can we go home now?" Again the innocent smile was engraved on his lips. Kenan could not resist, he could not wait to introduce Shaka to the two of them.

"Alright, but let the doctor check on you first. Once the doctor allows us, we'll go home" he said with a smile.

Shaka pranced, then sat down on the sofa beside Kenan.

"I wash my face first, soon the doctor will come and don't be naughty" he recalled. Shaka nodded obediently. Be that day Shaka was out of the hospital, but their steps stopped in the hallway when someone stopped the two.
