chapter 8.

"Good morning, sir." Sapa Haura when she saw Jeff enter her study. Haura did come early because she wanted to give a good impression to the boss.

"Morning." Jeff did not glance at Haura in the slightest. He was afraid that last night would happen again. Jeff does not want to solo a career in his workspace.

Haura walked out of the room and headed to the pantry room. He brews a cup of latte coffee for the boss. Jeff's favorite coffee. "It's over!" Haura smiled happily when she finished brewing the coffee while then smelling the aroma that was so delicious.

"Please drink, sir." Haura placed the glass containing the latte coffee on Jeff's desk.

"Thank you." Jeff stayed focused on his laptop. He didn't want to come face to face with Haura.

"Do you want me to help you drink, sir?" haura who had not moved from where he was standing.

Jeff reflex stops his hand moving over the keyboard. He looked at Haura with sharp eyes. Haura who saw that instantly shrieked. However, he remained calm in front of Jeff.

"Ah, looks like there's some unfinished work. Then excuse me, sir." Haura quickly returned to her desk. He did not want to get a tantrum from his superiors.

Jeff smiled faintly as he looked at Haura's instantly frightened manner when he got a sharp glare from her. "You're brave enough, Baby girl. As much as your love for me as the innocent Haura I know has now turned into such an aggressive figure." Jeff's inner voice while looking at Haura.

Drrrrt ... Drrrrt ... Drrrrt ...

Jeff grabbed his phone that was near the laptop. He quickly shifted the green icon to answer the call.

"How's it?" jeff asked with a serious expression to someone across the phone who turned out to be Arvin.

"I've got information about them, sir," Arvin said. He is very professional at work.

"Good! Hurry to the company right now" Jeff said impatiently.

"Good, sir." Arvin disconnected the phone and rushed to Kingston's company.

While Haura was very curious about who Jeff was on the phone. Even just this time he saw Jeff that serious. But Haura did not dare to ask, afraid of being thought to interfere too much in Jeff's affairs.

Arvin arrived at Kingston's company during lunchtime. Arvin headed straight to the meeting room on orders from Jeff to make their conversation more private. Because Jeff didn't want Haura to know about it. Jeff was forced to order lunch for Haura and told her to have breakfast inside her study.

While Jeff, he reasoned there was an interest with Arvin who would discuss the growing company's problems abroad. Haura believes Jeff's words, because he is too happy because Jeff is considerate of him to be willing to order lunch for Haura.

"Oh my God. Is this a sign that Jefferson has returned my love? I need to be more active in trying to get closer to him. Now he's ordering lunch for me. Tomorrow will be more romantic than this." Haura muttered in her heart. He's very happy. His heart was blossoming at this moment.

Jeff was reading the data that Arvin showed from his hard work. Jeff clenches his hand when he finds out Olivia's relationship with Keanu who turns out to be a couple.

"Set a meeting schedule with Mahendra's company, Arvin," Jeff orders with his eyes lit up. He crumpled the paper in his hand. His heart was hot, even his jaw was hardened.

Jeff was really angry. Is it possible that Olivia left him for a Keanu? Or is there another reason? Aaaargh! Jeff is completely inexhaustible with Olivia who is suddenly in touch with the son of Mahendra. Jeff is much more on Mahendra.

Arvin swallowed his coarse salivary when he saw Jeff so angry. Do not want to waste time Arvin directly contact the company Mahendra and then express the purpose. Luckily Mahendra's company was happy to welcome the meeting's plans. Because Mahendra himself, his father Keanu really wanted to work with Kingston company.

It's just that Kingston's company is not so interested in cooperating with the famous Mahendra Company is always cheating when doing cooperation. Therefore Mahendra's company is far below Kingston's company and Pradipa Company.

The meeting plan was accelerated because Jeff was impatient to meet with Keanu. Later tonight is their meeting which will be held at Muara restaurant. Upscale restaurant, Jeff has observed the place so that no one sees the meeting.

Haura sat anxiously waiting for Jeff inside her study. For two hours Jeff had not returned. It's almost home time. Haura was worried that something might happen to her cousin.

"So Jeff where ya, why so long." Haura muttered while pacing around in the room like an iron.

The door of the room opened displaying the handsome male figure that Haura had been waiting for. "Sister Jeff! Brother anywhere, I wait from earlier," Haura's cerocos without pause. He approached Jeff who was still near the door.

"Sister? You didn't forget where we are now?" jeff said in a cold voice that managed to make Haura shut up instantly.

"Sorry, Sir. I forgot." Haura lowered her head feeling guilty. So worried he forgot his current status that he was a subordinate.

Haura admitted her mistake of not being able to be professional during working hours. He returned to his desk without a sound. Haura does not want to be a whiny in front of Jeff, she must look mature so that Jeff no longer thinks of himself as a child.

Looking at Haura's sad looking face, Jeff felt a little guilty. He really could not keep his words due to his chaotic mood. He was too exaggerated in addressing Haura's question. He saw that Haura was worried about him. But Jeff instead acted cold as if talking to a stranger.

"Yum!" Jeff breathed a rough breath to neutralize the burden in his heart. Somehow he is always weak if dealing with Olivia even when not facing directly Jeff has lost.

On the way home, Haura was just silent like never before which would be very chatty. Jeff wondered why Haura was acting like that. Though all because of him who was cold at the office. Yes, men are so. He will not be sensitive and will not even feel guilty when he makes a mistake.

"He why? Usually also chatty. Why is he so quiet now?" jeff's mind is full of question marks.
