In a secret facility, researchers are collecting data on their experiments.
“Alfa tester No.17. Confirmed mental impairment and subsequent cessation of nerve activity. As per procedure, request dispatch of disposal team. ”
"Oh Boy's. Number 17 is pretty stable, considering. Now even that one is gone.”
“Will that be a problem, sir? Number 17 is a rather special one. These events have resulted in some permanent loss on the subject. ”
Jhon, at the Secret facility monitoring center, was very excited. His secretary voiced his concerns.
“The analysis of their strength and genome is complete. The government has pressured our bosses for faster results as well. The one-month deadline was already quite fulfilled, but with how enthusiastic the testers were, we were done with the basic data collection. The show finished early.”
30 Alpha testers are not just random orphans.
They are one of the owners of unique spiritual powers. – strange and mysterious special powers – have been confirmed all over the world, and these testers are believed to be the ones who possess such powers. More than half of them only had trivial powers, such as vague precognition or slightly higher physical abilities than usual, but the first 23 chosen were powers that were a step higher. Or in the case of some of them, some steps. The power of the few has helped to bring about revolutionary technology for mankind, many of which have applications in warfare. It was the beginning of a new era.
The genetic and strength analysis is complete. The experiment only went on to see if special abilities could be improved, or if new applications could be found, by putting orphans in conditions of extreme stress. That, and also to dispose of testers, because they are no longer useful.
The number of deaths and mental damage increased rapidly due to the event, although only 25 days had passed since the experiment began. There have been 17 deaths from cessation of neural activity, with 8 others having mental disorders. Only 5 alpha testers left.
“And as expected, No. 01 and No. 08 still survive. Gosh, aren't they stubborn. Isn't there another one that's pretty stable?”
“Yes, sir, it must be No. 13. Given how all the other spiritual avatar testers suffered mental damage only at the first stage, he had an unusually durable mind.”

I do not plan to remain silent myself trus . I followed along the mountains, passing through steep terrain and steep cliffs. This will make it harder for beta players to follow me.
Hopefully I can survive this event just by wandering around these mountains, I thought grimly. A quick check made sure that no one was near me. I let out a sigh of relief.
I wonder if there is any place to hide.The beta players already know where I am, but at least I will not be attacked arriving2 from a distance. Dead like that would be so not funny.
Maybe I can evolve now, after that fight. If so, I might be able to win even against that beta player's grombolan.
