Legend of the Devil Fox

Legend of the Devil Fox
03 beta players

Meanwhile, on the side of beta player participants who do not know the existence of Alpha player.

Compared to most mobs at the beginning of the game, Red Centipede Monsters were extremely dangerous as they spouted flames. On the other hand, their soft shells make them relatively easy to kill. A young man burst into laughter in the forest, his sword splitting his enemies. Name's Ronald.

A student, she is one of the selected beta testers. Unfortunately, his professor called him to resend the paper, so his first login was a full day after the beta started. In her panic, she creates characters using her real name and face. Ronald doesn't really mind it much, as many popular streamers do the same for their channels. To make up for lost time, he searches for a good monster to kill, which leads him to information about the Red Centipede in the game forum.

In the Yggdrasia World, time passed at almost the same speed as real life.

At first glance, the problem where some players could only log in at night was because their life situation seemed unavoidable, but fortunately Yggdrasia was as big as Earth, meaning a time zone. Players can choose to start in an area with their desired time zone.

Roland chose a country with the same time zone as his original residence. A large country located to the west of the central continent, the Kingdom of Torse.

When he starts the game, the first thing surprises him and the most important thing is how detailed the game is. It reminded him of the first time he used the Avatar System to look around other countries, and the deep feeling he felt back then. The game was so real, he couldn't help but think that this world might actually exist.

First is the city. Yamada logged in at the Temple in the capital city of Seize, then followed the tutorial, going to enroll him in the adventurer guild. The number of people he saw on the street was astounding.

In a normal open world game, even the so-called metropolis only had at most a few hundred citizens to save computing power. Yet here, just the main street where he stood already had more people than those walking around.

Roland initially thought this game only had a few thousand players logged into the same city, like some other famous MMORPGs, but then he discovered that they were all NPCs. This living, breathing city is filled with non-playable characters driven by AI.

He should have guessed, really. All ten thousand beta testers from all over the real world are unlikely to be dropped to a single country in the game. To determine how advanced an AI-driven NPC was, he observed the street stalls for a long time. And the owner really started pouting at him.

The wind on his skin, the pavement under his feet, the appetizing smell of the stall selling grilled meat skewers. All of this is indistinguishable from reality. The sense of smell is replicated, but the sense of taste only works for drinks. The avatar doesn't need food. Human controllers still need to get out and eat normally.

As a player, Ronald is given a lump of sweet food by the Temple. It resembles a nutritional energy bar and provides buffs when eaten. But it did not dampen his dream to try roadside snacks here, even just once, and even when he knew his senses would not work. To that end, he headed to the adventurer guild for his first job.

The game is oriented towards realism. Unlike most MMORPGs, you don't have an inventory box. You have to bring all your own stuff. From what he heard, only a few search items can be stored within your character. All other items take up actual space.

If you have too much, you can use the Temple's storage service, or create a base somewhere.

However, what Ronald was most interested in was the slaves. He was disappointed at first to see that only Humans could be played as a race. It turned out that in the World of Yggdrasia, all Demihumans were slaves. If you have a place to live and enough money, you can buy slaves in the city or catch demihumans living in the forest. They can do homework, fight, carry your burdens, or serve in other ways.

Slavery made him a little nervous at first, but all the townspeople worked demihumans without batting an eye. The slaves were also dressed quite neatly, probably because they had to work in the city. Ronald decided to stop worrying about this.

He would earn enough money to own a mansion, then he would save the demihuman girls from their bad luck, and they would live together happily ever after.

So he swore, for his own poor heart.

This game's growth system is strange. There is no level like a regular RPG. No Classes or Jobs, good – everyone is Adventurer. Players decide on their playing style by acquiring and leveling Skills as they wish.

[Ronald]Lv 1

[Race: Human ] [Adventurer]

[Magic Points (MP): 40/40] [Hit Points (HP): 50/50]

[Strength: 10] [Vitality: 10] [Agility: 10] [Dexterity: 10]

[Swordsmanship 1] [Defense 1] [Offensive Magic 1] [Healing Magic 1] [Self-Reinforcement]

[Total Combat Power: 40]

[Magic]: Flame – Healing

All he had were his initial skills, magic, and basic equipment: An Iron One-handed Sword, a set of Soft Leather Armors, a set of Traveler Clothes, and an Adventurer Backpack.

If he were to die, he would lose half of his Magic Points, suffer a 10% statistic deduction, and drop all of his luggage to the ground as a death sentence.

However, he had heard that his initial equipment and some of his quest reward items would not fall, so Yamada went out of town without any worries.

The way to raise an lv is also a bit strange. In order to prevent accidents in normal life, the body of the adventurer is no different from a normal person. This only changed when they entered the battle. Physical Combat and Self-Enforcing Skills were activated by using magic. One MP is spent every minute on every level of combat skill.

hunting monsters and raising lv only that which is now in the game and there is no mission at all, maybe because it is still a beta tahab.
