LET ME DOWN SLOWLY

LET ME DOWN SLOWLY
The Wound Is Still Feels

Chandra and Marvin return from Chandra's new home. Chandra will be staying at Marvin's apartment. While waiting for the interior person to come and bring furniture that has been ordered by Marvin.

"Maybe tomorrow or the day after tomorrow they will come to renovate your house" said Marvin.

"Hmm, okay. You gave them my phone number, didn't you?" ask Chandra.

Marvin nodded too. "Already," he answered.

"Want to change driving?" ask Chandra.

Marvin shook his head. "No need!" reject Marvin.

"OK,"

The car drove away from Chandra's new residential residence. The housing is still very quiet, because the housing is very new. So there are only a few houses that have been inhabited, and the rest are still empty.

"We'd better have lunch, Vin. I'm very hungry" Chandra said.

"Okay, where are we going to eat?" ask Marvin.

"As far as you are! The usual place we hang out can be, too" replied Chandra.

Marvin nodded. "We go to an ordinary place" said Marvin in the end.

Marvin continues to drive his vehicle to the cafe where they usually gather. During the trip they continued to talk about their respective businesses. They also secretly talk about Sagara and Vesha, even blatantly Marvin says that he likes his best friend Vesha.

"That jutek and fierce lady?" ask Chandra who does not believe in her best friend.

Marvin nodded with a smile. "Why, is something wrong?" ask Marvin.

"Yes, there's no one! It's just.." Chandra paused his words, it seems he was very hesitant to say it.

Dagi Marvin wrinkled. "What is it?" marvin urged.

Chandra sighed. "Are you sure of how you feel?" ask Chandra.

Marvin raised one eyebrow. "Do you doubt me?"

Chandra laughed. "Honestly yes, I doubt that you're the one who likes Shena. Because as far as I know, the typical woman you want isn't in Shena. That's why I asked if you're sure of how you feel?" cetus Chandra with an unconvinced facial expression.

Marvin clucked in annoyance. "I'm so sure of how I feel, Chan. I don't know why I feel that Shena is a different woman from the woman I once knew and was close to me" Marvin replied with a confident look on his face.

Chandra narrows her cheeks, then she smiles obliquely. "Okay, if you're sure of how you feel. I can only support you" Chandra patted Marvin on the shoulder.

"But there's one thing you should know, Vin." Chandra added.

"What?" asked Marvin while frowning.

"Did you know that love is abstract? until everyone can talk about it. But unfortunately very few can actually see it" asked Chandra.

Marvin glanced at Chandra. Then he wet his dry lips with his tongue before answering Chandra's question.

"Hmm, I don't know about it. But what I do know is that people who are in love have a colorful psychological state. Until sometimes they also forget that love can give a slump," replied Marvin.

Chandra nodded slowly. "Yes, you're right. When you decide to share your love with someone, you also have to prepare everything. Because the possibility of love can happen will turn to hurt you," said Chandra sound so soft, even his gaze was so nanar looking at the windshield of the car.

Marvin flinched at Chandra's words that slammed his heart. Marvin glanced and stared at Chandra. Marvin can capture the sad look of his best friend.

"You okay?" marvin asked as he touched Chandra's shoulder.

Chandra awakens from her daydream. He smiled and looked at Marvin. "Yes, I'm fine." Chandra clapped Marvin's hand that was still on his shoulder.

Chandra immediately turned her gaze toward the outside of the window as her eyes began to feel hot. Chandra doesn't want Marvin to know that he's not okay right now.

"In fact, the pain is still so pronounced to this day. Even I just realized that the wound in this heart is so deep" Chandra said in her heart.

They had arrived at a cafe where they used to gather. The two men got out of the car after Marvin parked the car.

Maybe it is true that the place is always special to welcome the arrival of Marvin and his friends. Because in fact the owner of the cafe is one of Marvin's relatives. So the man knows the owner of the cafe & restaurant. They ordered food as usual.

"Have you met the owner of this cafe, Vin?" ask Chandra.

Marvin nodded. "Here, he even wants to see you." Answer Marvin.

"OK, just tell me what it's going to be like" Chandra said.

"Ready!"

They again talked about light things and occasionally discussed the automotive business that was being carried out by Marvin.

"Oh, yeah! My bike's still in your apartment, isn't it, Vin?" ask Chandra.

"Hmm, I just serviced all the oil changes." Answer Marvin.

"Thanks, you'll send the bill to WhatsApp."

Marvin just nodded, and not long after their order arrived. They ate so voraciously, it seemed like the worms in their stomach were already very hungry.

Marvin and Chandra are done with their lunch. The two then left the cafe and headed back to Marvin's apartment.

A few minutes later, Marvin's car arrived in the parking lot of the apartment building. They both went inside to the 10th floor where Marvin's unit was located. Marvin also helped carry Chandra's luggage.

"What are you carrying anyway, Chand?" ask Marvin.

Chandra smelled his smile. "Why, heavy?" ask Chandra.

Marvin clucked in annoyance. "You're out of the village or out of the move anyway? Carry things up to this weight," complained Marvin.

Chandra chuckles at his best friend who has trouble carrying his luggage.

"That's a gift" replied Chandra.

Marvin's eyes sparkled cheerfully. "Seriously?"

Chandra just nodded and smiled faintly.

"Well," Marvin immediately lifted the cardboard containing souvenirs.

Chandra just shook his head to see the behavior of his best friend.

Marvin immediately put the cardboard is quite heavy, then he dropped his body weight on the sofa while stretching his muscles that began to feel stiff.

Not long he stood up and walked to the drawer near the television. Chandra could only pay attention to it while shaking his head as Marvin impatiently opened the cardboard.

"Well, this is a lot!" Marvin said so happy.

"I purposely brought a lot for you and the others" Chandra said.

Marvin glanced at Chandra. "Do you want to give it to anyone?" ask Marvin.

"You, Sky, Sagara, Vesha, Mr. Bryan and your parents." Answer Chandra.

"You'd better help me to divide it evenly so that it's all part," Chandra added.

Marvin nodded and immediately divided it equally. In the cardboard containing souvenirs typical of Yogyakarta, there are chocolate monggo, sago tempe chips, wet bakpia pathok and leather-based craft bags.

"It looks like you've prepared it really well" Marvin said as he looked at Chandra's goodie bag.

Chandra smile. "I don't want to bother and trouble people anymore" replied Chandra.

"When are you going to Vesha's house?" ask Marvin.

Chandra shrugged both of his shoulders. "Maybe tonight" he answered.
