Part 143's. Tired and Disappointed
Before deciding to be honest with Annete, Adrian always tried to pay little attention to Annete. But it looks like Annete is insensitive and considers Adrian's attention is just ordinary attention because he has been taking care of Adel all this time.
Until one day when Adrian had prepared a surprise to express his feelings to Annete it turns out he was confronted by the bitter fact that actually Annete harbors feelings for others.
At the wedding Isyana and Zidane Lexi expressed her feelings for Annete but she rejected Lexi's love despite the fact Adrian understood that Annete's rejection seemed different from what his heart wanted. From the look in his eyes Adrian knows that Annete also loves Lexi but in fact Adel's desire is the barrier between the two to unite.
Adrian breathed a sigh of relief when Annete decided to choose Adel instead of Lexi. Maybe Adrian is selfish but he doesn't feel like Annete belongs to someone else. He will not just let go of Annete to his loved ones though.
After coming home from the party it seemed like Annete's attitude had changed. He who is usually always cheerful and likes to laugh with Adel is now more silent and moody. Adrian who understands the mood of Annete was forced to cancel his surprise to propose to Annete especially he already knew Annete did not love him even though he had difficulty preparing everything. He prefers to be patient waiting for Annete's heart to turn to him by paying more attention to him.
"And we go for a walk!" take Adrian, he knows Annete must still be Lexi's mind.
"Ah Mas Mas I'm at home, Mas Adri go with Adel only first." declined Annete.
"Why are you trying to tell me the same story, maybe I can help." Adrian who initially wanted to walk the same Adel so sit next to Annete. How can they leave if Annete doesn't come. Didn't they want to go the way just to distract Annete for what he feels now while comforting him.
One day, two days Adrian still survives with everything. With his assumption that one day Annete can definitely reciprocate his feelings. But as the day went on Adrian felt unable to see the state of Annete who always seemed sad. Finally he decided to give up on Annete's happiness.
"Del dad wants to talk to you," said Adrian to Adel who is now dressing himself in his room after bathing.
Adel. "What did you say, Dad?"
"I'm sorry I can't seem to grant your request to make Aunt Annete your bundle."
"Why Dad? Don't you love Aunt Annete anymore?"
Adrian shaking. "Daddy's feelings are still the same but your aunt doesn't seem to love you. I don't want her to marry me just because I have to."
"Well, why the hell is that?"
"That's the fact Del and I asked you not to force it okay."
"My dad wants Aunt Annete to be Adel's mother." Adel scowling.
"Del listen to me!" Adrian tries to give understanding to Adel. "Tante Annete actually loves Lexi but yesterday she refused to be Lexi's lover just because she promised you. Poor him Del all this time he always tried to make us happy, accompany us but because of our time Annete can not get his own happiness."
"You mean Aunt Annete's father can't be happy with us?"
"It's not like that but Aunt Annete would be happier if it was Lexi."
"Ah it's the same, but why did you conclude that?"
"Because after the incident he rejected Lexi he became quiet and moody. You see! Now Aunt Annete is still sad." Adrian invites Adel to see Annete who is now sitting in the garden looking at butterflies flying around the flowers but his eyes look empty.
"Aante! Auntie!" Adel runs towards him while Adrian chooses to leave them both.
"Auntie why?" adel asked to be sure.
"Ah, there's Adel." Annete woke up from his daydream.
"Auntie why?" ask Adel again. "Why is Aunt crying?" continued. Looking at Annete's reddened face from crying.
"Tante is okay Del, Aunt just remember Aunt's dad." Annete said that although lately he often dreamed of his father but he was more saddened by his own fate. He felt trapped in the situation. On the one hand he loves Lexi and on the other he loves Adel and has promised her to be his mother but until now he has not known Adrian's feelings towards him and his true feelings alone on Adrian it's like whatever he still doesn't know.
"Aunty if there's anything to say yes to Adel or the same father don't just hold it alone." Annete simply replied with a nod not knowing what to answer. It feels like he wants to go home to his country to talk at his father's navel about his baldness but he can not leave the people who have been coloring the journey of his life. Because once he leaves maybe he will never come back to this place again.
"Tante Adel apologizes if Adel has made Auntie sad."
Annete immediately grabbed Adel's body and said, "What the heck, baby. Adel is not wrong with Aunt. I'm sorry, Auntie's been feeling tired lately. He said he wanted to call Auntie, why still call Auntie?"
"Nevent be aunty later call his mother if Aunty has really become the mother of Adel." Hearing Adel Annete's reply smiled bitterly.
While in the other corner of the house Adrian called Ara to meet her with Lexi. Adrian has decided to unite them both. To hell with her own feelings now she just wants to see Annete happy with the person she loves.
One day Adrian took Annete to Yuna's cafe.
"Adel later there will be friends who will come to visit so can not come," lied Adrian.
"Wouldn't we just delay our departure after Adel can come?"
Adrian shaking. "Can't Yuna ask us to come there now she said she needs our help.
"All right then." Annete according to.
There Adrian takes Annete to Lexi and Naura's table. After briefly chatting with Adrian, Ara went straight to the back.
Deg. "Is this how I feel bad?" inner Annete. Adrian doesn't usually see Lexi but now he's taking himself in front of the man. Annete could only bow because it was still unkind to Lexi for her rejection just a while ago.
"Lex I invited you here because I had something to say." Adrian started the conversation.
"Please." Lexi invited Adrian to speak.
"Just go ahead. I know you love each other but my son who has become a barrier to your relationship, for that I apologize for everything. And from today on Lex I leave him to you, I know Annete's happiness is with you."
Deg. Annete's blood rippled hearing Adrian's words. So this is the reason why Adrian took her without Adel, apparently there is something serious that he wants to convey in this place. Actually Annete was upset not to accept the way Adrian took a stance without discussing with him first but with all his heart he held his anger. It's not happy Annete was put together with Lexi in this way but Annete felt hurt instead.
"An forgive me for all this time me and Adel have always troubled you, but today it is time for you to seek your own happiness. I know you like Lexi so I want you to be together." Adrian then got up from his chair and walked to the back leaving the two and chose to meet Yuna. Actually Adrian's heart ached saying everything but it's okay it's all for Annete's happiness.
"Mas!" Annete wants to protest Adrian but Adrian leaves himself alone with Lexi.
"Net how was my offer at that time will you change your decision?"
"I don't know Lex." Annete took a deep breath and leaned his body against the back of the chair. Suddenly, his anger at Adrian rose again. "Alright we can try it first, if it suits us to continue if we can not make a decision." Actually, Annete had begun to doubt Lexi's feelings because he saw the closeness of Lexi and Naura all along.
"Okay Deal" Lexi said.
"Lex how are the twins?"
Lexi also told me everything about the twins who just had their behavior. For a moment they remembered the times they lived with Isyana and the twins. The two laughed at the moment which sometimes contained the silliness of the twins. Without them realizing it behind there were two hearts that felt tight and hurt watching the laughter of the two.
A little while after that Ara walked out of the place with an unusual expression making Lexi chase after her. Annete breathed heavily. Seeing the familiarity of both Annete was suspicious lest Lexi start to like Ara.
Annete immediately calls Isyana, asking for permission to stay at her house with Atmaja, Isyana's father. Of course Isyana agreed to even feel happy because her father was accompanying her. Isyana calls her father and tells him that Annete wants to stay there again. Atmaja did not mind even asking Isyana to allow to raise Annete as his adopted son.
When Lexi returned, Annete woke up from her seat.
"Where'd the Net go?"
"You're going home Lex."
"Then I'll take you."
"Yes, just take me to Atmaja's house!" Annete did not want to return to Adrian's house because he was already disappointed.
"Are you sure Net?"
"Yes." Yeah." Annete snatched his bag on the table and came out without saying much more with Lexi chasing behind him.
Adrian gawks at Annete who is indifferent to him and leaves him without even inviting him home. He ran after Annete as well and followed where Lexi's car was going. He thought Annete was going home, in fact he was wrong Annete even went down at Isyana's house. As soon as a flash Adrian immediately called Annete who had now entered the house but Annete did not want to pick up the phone again.
Adrian rubbed his face. "Am I wrong again An?" but then he turned the wheel and drove the car back to his own home.
After Adrian and the others left Yuna just shook her head remembering Naura's expression and Adrian was looking towards Lexi and Annete. "Complicated relationship."
