Let Us Unite

Let Us Unite
Part 38's. Love Is Unconditional

"Dad!" The boy went into his father's arms. His eyes squinted when he saw Annete then slumped in his father's arms and approached Annete.

"Mother!"

The boy rushed into Annete's arms. Although Annete did not understand, he still received the child's embrace.

Seeing his son does not want to be separated with Annete doctor Adrian approached his son.

"Adel is not a mother but Aunt Annete."

"Eh. Really true?" He let go of his embrace and looked at Annete's face.

"real Auntie?"

Annete nodded.

"Sorry Adel thinks mother because Aunt's face is similar to a mother's photo."

"Yes it's okay. Adel won't let aunty in?"

"Oh yeah, Auntie can come in."

"You haven't slept?"

"Not yet Adel will wait for father, the tumben father comes at night usually at seven o'clock father has come home."

"Yes the father was still replacing the doctor Budi because he had interests so late."

"Oh that's it. Can I not if Aunt Annete sleeps in Adel's room?"

"Don't let Aunt Annete sleep in the guest room."

"May you Dad!"

Adrian's doctor looked at Annete as if asking for approval and the understanding Annete nodded.

"Yuk to Adel's room now it's night," asked Annete.

"Aunty really wants to sleep with Adel?"

"Yes come!"

After they entered the room Adrian doctor into the bathroom to clean themselves from the remnants of the smell of drugs attached to his body. When he finished his bath he checked Adel in his room. Seeing Adel who had fallen asleep, Adrian turned and walked out of the room.

"Doctor!" Annete called Adrian's doctor. Apparently he hasn't slept.

"Yes?" Doctor Adrian reversing body.

"There's something I want to ask the doctor."

"About?"

"Adel."

"Okay, let's talk outside!"

Doctor Adrian takes Annete to the front garden of the house.

The atmosphere in the garden was silent, only the stars and moonlight accompanied them. The wind blew slapping their faces and flew Annete's straight hair which happened to be in the description.

"Why does Adel think I'm his mother?" Annete opened the sound.

"As you know, I thought you were Anisa."

"So Anisa's mother Adel?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Where is he now?"

Listening to Annete's question doctor Adrian sighed.

"He left us when Adel was three years old. He said he was tired of taking care of Adel who was sick. He thought there was no point in caring for Adel anyway in the end Adel would die too." There was a grate of sadness on the face of the doctor Adrian when saying the sentence.

Doctor Adrian looks sad considering a few years ago Anita left them after a new afternoon celebrating Adel's birthday. Anita leaves a letter beside Adel's bed saying she is tired and gives up.

"Emang Adel is sick?"

"Cancer."

"Oh my God." Annete covered his gaping mouth in surprise.

Annete can feel the sadness of Adrian especially the sadness of Adel. He was once in that position left by his mother because he could not live hard with his father, the difference is that he was in good health.

...****************...

Morning at the main house.

"You guys up?"

"Udah from earlier Oma. Where are you going to be neat in the morning?"

"Mom's going to the hospital for a check-up. You're here with Uncle Zidane! It just so happens that Zidane's uncle is on holiday now. Oma's leaving first!"

"Hey be careful, Oma!"

"Boy have you guys taken a shower?" Suddenly Zidane was nongol with a sweaty body."

"Abis morning run. You guys didn't have any shows this morning?"

"No Uncle."

"Then we play ball yuk behind the house!"

"Come Uncle!" They are both enthusiastic.

"But you guys ate?"

"Not Uncle."

"Then eat first! Food is ready at the dinner table."

"Not eating, Uncle will play the ball."

"Yes, come on, then."

They go behind the house to play football together.

"Are you not the one who wants to be a soccer player?"

They're shaken.

"What do you want to be?"

"Businesses like Uncle" Nathan said.

"If you?"

"I'm a musician uncle."

"Okay, your ideals are good too."

They also played ball together.

Morning by noon.

"How did it go?"

"Mama hasn't seen. You see for yourself."

Zidane took the hospital's envelope and opened it.

"How's Nak?"

"Cannot be. No way, this must be wrong." Zidane spoke for himself regardless of his mother's questions.

"What's the result, son?"

"It doesn't fit Ma." Zidane dropped the paper.

Mama Laras took the paper back and read the DNA test results between Zidane and Nathan he dropped the paper again.

Zidane went to his room. I don't believe what he read just now. Seeing Zidane who seemed to be in shock, Mama Laras chased to his room.

"Son mama, please don't change your attitude towards them! If that happens, they will be disappointed. Even though they are not your grandchildren but you still think of him as your grandchild and you hope that if you love their mother you should consider him your son too."

"I don't know what Ma should do." Zidane disappointed.

"Ask your own heart, son! If you love that woman, you have to accept the truth. Love is unconditional but if you love the woman just because she thinks she has a child with you that's not love."

Zidane was silent thinking about his mother's words. She remembers she loved Isyana very much before she even knew Nathan and Tristan but all she needs to think about is Isyana really married? There is no way she would not have a husband if she already had children. Or are they really Lusy and Edward's children? I don't know!

He picks up a cell phone and tells his men to investigate Lusy and Edward if it's true they have twins.

Tristan, who finds a DNA test letter lying on the floor, runs to Nathan, who is in the room.

"So we're not uncle Zidane's children?"

"Yes Itan means we've been wrong people."

"No Atan I still can't believe our faces look like uncle, our last name is uncle's last name. Why aren't we uncle's children?" Tristan did not accept the test results.

"What are you guys doing?" Zidane suddenly went into the room.

"No, our uncle was just talking."

"Oh. That's what you're hiding behind your back?"

"It's nothing Uncle."

"Here you come!"

Tristan finally gave me the paper.

"So you guys know? I'm sorry uncle took your hair, too," she told Nathan.

"Uncle thought you were uncle's children. Uncle is wrong."

The two children looked down on their minds and raged between fear, sadness and disappointment. Fearing that Zidane would never love him again. Sad because it turns out Zidane is not his father and disappointed it turns out the prejudice so far is wrong.

"But you take it easy even if you're not uncle's children, uncle will still love you. Uncle will consider you uncle's own son. Okay!"

"Thank you Uncle." They were pouring into Zidane's arms.
