Love, I Surrender

Love, I Surrender
Waiting for Arga

Karin drags her suitcase following Arga's steps towards the elevator. They are already in the apartment, heading for the unit to be occupied. Karin had a bit of trouble slashing her two suitcases, but Arga was just dumb.

Arga does not want to linger at Karin's parents' residence. Do not want to play too long if they are not like a bride and groom in general.

“Pronounce on what floor my unit is on. Don't let later you trouble for getting lost.”

“I know, after all I'm not a child,” Karin murmured.

Arga mentioned the code when it would open the door. “To maintain security, Every month the code will be replaced,” Arga said.

“Wow,” chirps Karin. Didn't expect the Arga apartment to be stylish like a luxury home. With two floors where the interior design is modern but still memorable comfortable.

“Bring your suitcase to the room,” Arga said.

Karin was confused between the two bedroom doors. “This room or that one?”

“That left of your room, I'm next to it.”

“We sleep split rooms?” ask Karin.

Arga scrunched his forehead. “You think we're a real couple? Still remember my rules last night, don't expect us to act like a married couple in general. Moreover, you ...” Arga's speech came to a halt because the man glanced as if disgusted with Karin.

“At the earliest one year, we will get divorced. So be patient not to get in touch with Devan or any man.”

“Pak Arga, me and Mas Devan not ...”

“Nope,” Arga shows her palm as if asking Karin to stop talking. “I don't care what relationship you have. The obvious honor is to be my wife and daughter-in-law of the Sadewa family.

Karin felt her neck choked as she held back the tears that were ready to drip down her face.  Arga's insult last night was not over, the man again said words that offended Karin.

Choosing to go into her room rather than serving her husband, precisely the husband pretended. Karin sat on the bed staring at the ring embedded in her fingers. It was very desirable for her to let go of emotions like Arga, let alone their marriage was definitely not on the basis of love. But back to the advice of his mother, inevitably Karin had to be patient.

“Wedding is sacred, do not be made to mess with the origin said separate if later you and Arga quarrel. Whatever the case, keep trying to be a good wife.”

“Good wife? If I try to be a good wife, can Mr Arga be a good husband?”

... ***...

“Today, hey wake up.”

“Let's Mah, I'm still sleepy,” Karin said as she tightened her blanket again.

“Hey, wake up,” shouted Arga.

“Five minutes more Mah.”

Arga clucked, “Wake up or I flush with ice water,” cried Arga.

Karin blinked her eyes and looked at Arga who was standing beside the bed. “Pak Arga why here?”

“Ngapain? You see what time it is?”

“Jeez,” screams Karin while sitting down. It is realized that she is currently in Arga's apartment and is currently a wife. “I'm bad luck, sorry Mr.”

“Ten minutes or I stay.”

Karin rushed to the bathroom. Without makeup polish, meet Arga who has been standing with a hostile face.

“Hehe, understand sir. His name also sleeps in a new environment, so bad luck.”

“Next get used to getting up early, do not forget to make breakfast.”

“Hah, that means I made breakfast for ... us?”

“In your opinion, do I have to cook.”

“Yes it's okay if Mr. Arga wants, I can't cook,” Karin replied with a cry.

Both of them were already in the car, during the trip there was no chatter whatsoever. Karin actually wanted to stop for breakfast, but stopped seeing Arga who focused on the steering wheel and the road ahead.

“Remember, keep my good name. Your current status is the wife of Arga Sadewa.”

“Iya Sir. I remember,” Karin replied after removing the seatbelt.

Get out of the car first and walk ahead of Arga because they are not interested in going hand in hand. Arriving at his cubicle, Karin landed her body on the work chair while sighing.

“Eh, I'm already in. No vacation or honeymoon trip?” ask Abil Karin's coworker.

“Owh, I'm done. Sepi dong no Karin,” goda Abil.

“If it's quiet screaming, later it's also crowded," replied Karin.

“Bil, don't be teased lo. His wife the boss, you want to be fired,” taunted other colleagues.

“Waduh, don't be pitted yes. ‘Kan is just kidding.”

By late afternoon, minutes of office hours. Karin's mobile phone vibrates apparently a message from Arga.

[I still have meetings with clients, just wait in the lobby for me to pick up]

“Yes, failed to return home quickly deh.”

Karin did not immediately move from her desk, choosing to watch movies with a computer commonly used to work. Realizing the room was deserted just stay him, saw the clock wall has passed from the clock home but Arga has not been picked up.

“Pak Arga where the hell?” Karin stared at the phone screen no new calls or messages from Arga. Intent to contact in fact the power of the phone turned out to be weak.

“Eh, yes dead .. How is this?”

Karin finally waited in the lobby. Intended to go home by taxi but he has not memorized the address of Arga's apartment.

“Mbak Karin hasn't come home yet?” ask one of the security guards.

“But Sir. Wait for Mr. Arga to pick up.”

“Owh so. I stay yes Mbak.”

Karin just nodded her head. An hour had passed and there was still no sign of Arga arriving. Even his stomach was rumbling. Security was approaching Karin again, “What not to contact Mbak, Pak Arga nya.”

“My phone is dead, sir. Want to take a taxi, but I have not memorized the address of the apartment PAk Arga.”

The security scratched his head that was not itchy, somewhat confused by the solution for this newlywed couple.

“Contact with my phone only.”

“I don't memorize Mr. Arga's mobile number.”

“Walah, I found out first yes Mbak.”

While in the apartment. Arga has just arrived, after being stuck in traffic which is quite tiring and emotional. “Kok is still dark,” muttered Arga. Turn on some of the lights in his unit then head to the second floor where his room is located.

“Ngapain aja time, until the lights alone did not have time to turn on,” said Arga then opened the room Karin which was still dark.

“Neither.” Arga picks up his phone and contacts Karin but is inactive. Several times the results were the same, Karin's contact was inactive.

Tired of all day activities plus not finding Karin in her room makes Arga more emotional.

“Looks like I have to take a shower to cool my brain, I could have high blood pressure against Karin.”

Long enough Arga was in the bathroom and when out was greeted with the ringing of his cell phone. Arga scrunched his forehead seeing an unknown number contacting him.

“Halo.”

“Good night, with Mr Arga?”

“Iya.”

“Sorry sir, this is Madam Karin still in the lobby. Mr Arga has arrived?”

In his heart Arga cursed to hear information Karin is still in the office.

“Take him home by taxi,” Arga said.

“Anu Sir. Mbak Karin has not memorized the address of Mr. Arga.”

“Jesus Karin,” Arga said. “I send the address. If I pick up it will be longer,” said Arga.

Arga sighed, either what anger Karin would receive or be vented by Karin.
