Love, I Surrender

Love, I Surrender
Why Should I Separate?

“Arga Sadewa, traffic accident victim. How is he doing?” ask Marisa when she arrives at the Hospital ER according to the information entered by phone call. Arga's father is as worried as Marisa's, both trying to strengthen each other.

“Still in check, just awaited. Later will be called for doctor explanation.”

Arga's father invites his wife to sit while waiting for information on Arga's condition.

“Pending fear of something happening with Arga.”

“Calm down, we leave everything to God. Has Karin been contacted?”

Marisa sighed, recalling the time she contacted Arga to go home immediately because it had something to do with Karin. There is a feeling of guilt if Arga turns out to be in an accident because it has something to do with her request to go home immediately.

“Do not, we wait for news of the state of Arga,”sahut Marisa.

Long enough the two middle-aged parents waited, finally the doctor conveyed Arga's condition.

“Patients should get the operation action immediately, please sign the required file.”

Although surprised to hear of Arga's condition, they immediately gave the best approval for Arga's actions. Even Marisa proposed to bring Arga treatment to Singapore if needed.

“We just wait for the action taken, it is not good to move patients in a state of emergency like this,” said Arga's father to calm his wife. “It's late afternoon, contact Karin immediately. She must be worried that Arga can't be reached.”

In a different place, in the office. Karin since noon when accidentally broke the mug and Arga who had not returned could not even be reached waiting fretfully.

“Pak Arga, where the hell,” murmured Karin, even his eyes have warmed up and condensed. His own physique is no longer able to compromise, has not consumed anything because of worry with Arga makes his own body become weak.

Deciding to go home, convinced that Arga will go home immediately after his business is finished. On the way home in a taxi, Karin stared at the window. With a lot of preconceived notions in his mind.

“It has arrived, Ma'am,” said the taxi driver made Karin aware of his daydream. After paying according to the argo, Karin went down and rushed into the residence of Arga's parents.

“Where is Bik?” asked Karin who saw the house was quiet and did not find Arga's parents, she was in the kitchen opening the fridge and retrieving a bottle of mineral water.

“Non Karin is home? No waiting at the hospital?”

“Hospital, indeed who is sick?” karin asked after he had managed to gulp down almost half of the contents of the bottle.

The housekeeper who was talking to Karin was puzzled to explain, as her employer went to the hospital in connection with the news of the Arga accident. While Karin as Arga's wife did not know about this.

“How is it, does Non Karin really not know?”

“Master and Mistress to hospital due to Mr. Arga accident.”

Brakes.

The bottle of mineral water Karin held fell. Without saying anything Karin rushed from the house to the hospital.

“Dad, Mother what is the condition of Arga?” ask Karin who just came. Even his breath was still breathless as he walked briskly from the lobby towards the action room. She contacted her father-in-law asking for the location of the hospital.

“Still the operation action, we just wait a minute,” replied Father Arga even asked Karin to calm down and sit down during the wait.

Mother herself looks indifferent and cynical to Karin. Although confused Karin is familiar with the attitude of Mother Marisa, considering her son is at the operating table.

Karin sat apart from her Father and Mother-in-law, waiting anxiously while twisting her fingers. Every now and then her tears trickled down and she wiped them with her fingers.

It had been a few hours waiting, finally the operation was completed. The lights that indicate the process of surgery took place have been extinguished, a doctor who is responsible for the action explains the results of the operation and the condition of the patient.

“Surgical action runs smoothly, at this time the patient is still unconscious and we deliberately make it unconscious longer so that not much movement will slow recovery. Please wait patiently, patient will be taken to the observation room can not enter the nursery.”

“But my son will not experience memory loss after he regains consciousness ‘kan?”

The doctor smiled at Marisa's question.

“No ma'am, the operation was for the patient's hands and chest instead of his head, probably due to impact and pinned car frame.”

Karin heaved a sigh of relief at the Doctor's explanation, at least Arga's condition was not as heavy as she had expected. He rubbed his face wet with tears.

“You must be happy ‘kan see Arga suffering like this,” cry Mother to Karin.

Karin was surprised and could only shake her head, her lips unable to say anything.

“You can split without having to wait a year,” Marisa said again.

“Darling, what do you mean?” ask Arga's father.

“What do you mean, why should I split with Mr Arga?”
