Brakes.
Karin closed the apartment door tightly. Angry, upset, tired and hungry jumbled to make him lazy to talk. Choosing to immediately go to the room, while climbing the stairs there was Arga who stood staring at him.
“Karin,” call Arga.
Karin walks past Arga.
“Other times make sure your phone is full battery, so that we do not miss communication like this,” said Arga following Karin's steps.
Brakes.
Karin closed the door of her room again. “Karin, we have to talk,” said Arga while pressing the door handle. Karin accidentally locked the door, just wanted to rest immediately instead of having to talk to Arga who was there would only make her emotions return.
“Huft,” hela Karin after self-cleaning and lying in bed. Even he was still wearing a bathrobe, as his eyes began to shut.
Today was exhausting, not only her duty but tired of playing emotions with her husband. Faithfully he waited according to instructions, it turns out that Arga was already in the apartment.
Karin set off the alarm early. Not wanting to open his eyes there was Arga's face followed by an unpleasant remark because he woke up late.
“Depart alone, why also together with people annoying the world,” said Karin. Walking on tiptoes so as not to make a sound and make Arga wake up.
Karin chuckles after getting out of Arga's apartment unit. Using an online motorcycle taxi even had to stop by to buy breakfast, his stomach was really struggling to be filled because last night he missed dinner of course because of Arga's actions.
Arga is now ready to go. Seeing Karin's bedroom door still closed, Arga suspects Karin is still sleeping.
“Ck, Karin,” call Arga while knocking on Karin's room door.
Tok tok tok tok
“Sunday, wake up or I ..” his speech stopped because the door turned out to be unlocked. Arga went into the room and did not find Karin, even the bathroom was empty.
“Where is he? Early in the morning has made people worry,” complained Arga. Contacting Karin using her phone, many times there was no answer.
“Shitt,” maki Arga who realizes that Karin is gone. In Arga's heart was a bit worried if Karin went on the run. “I have to make sure he is in the office or not,” said Arga.
Arriving at the workspace, Arga was immediately preoccupied with documents and briefings with the division head. Initially wanting to see Karin's whereabouts, it failed due to the fairly solid rhythm of work. Even until noon, the two still did not meet and communicate with each other.
Karin occasionally stares at her phone screen, especially if not waiting for news or questions Arga. But Karin has to bite her finger, because Arga is still busy and ignores her phone.
“Basic selfish man. No apologies, no matter how the condition of his wife,” complained Karin.
“You to canteen no?” ask Aldi. “Mending now, later like crowded.”
“Hm, follow me,” said Karin. Because Arga himself did not ask for news or take him to lunch, so why did he wait for Arga.
Currently Karin and Abil with other division colleagues were at one table, enjoying lunch while joking to make Karin occasionally laugh.
Arga and the division head headed to the cafeteria after finishing the briefing. Abil briefly nudged Karin's arm and pointed towards Arga with his chin.
“Why?”
“Not follow?”
“Not level, I ‘kan professional. Not interfering, work affairs with personal affairs,” said Karin.
“Say not invited,” taunted Abil while chuckling. Karin spontaneously hits Abil's arm, apparently Arga witnesses the closeness of Karin and Abil.
“Quite, later I get suspended for joking with Mother Boss.”
“What the hell is nyebelin.”
“Mbak Karin, we don't have a farewell party? Mbak Karin ‘kan almost finished his internship.”
“Hm, can. But I permission first yes,” replied Karin.
...***...
It's time to go home, Karin is in the lobby trying to order an ojek online. Some of the female staff who passed by him mocked Karin making him the center of attention.
“She was married to Ark Arga, but still riding ojek.”
“Nevent recognized time.”
“Unconsidered wife,” said the others then they laughed.
“Don't marry pretend,” says another.
Arga arrived home later than Karin. Seeing his unit in the light, he was sure Karin had arrived first.
“Karin,” calls Arga into his wife's room along with Karin coming out of the bathroom.
“Aaaa, Mr. Arga is doing here,” cried Karin.
“Ngapain? This is my apartment, I deserve to be anywhere.”
“Ish, come out first I want to change clothes.”
Arga cleared her throat while swallowing the saliva saw Karin who was only wearing a towel with her hair rolled up revealing her tie neck.
“Mind daydreaming, out,” drive Karin while pushing Arga's body. Arga clucked and walked out of Karin's room.
After putting on her pajamas, Karin descended towards the kitchen island. Opening the fridge was empty with no food.
“All cook, no ingredients. I'm really hungry,” complained Karin.
“Karin,” call Arga who just came down. It looks like the man is more relaxed with his home clothes and looks fresher after an afternoon shower. “I told you to take care of your attitude, now your status is the wife of Arga Sadewa.”
“What do you mean Sir, I don't feel like anything.”
“Do not get too close to your coworkers, will cause bad issues.”
Karin grunts annoyed, “That's the feeling of Mr. Arga aja, I'm not close to any colleagues.”
“I saw for myself you jokingly even touched the man's hand,” Karin said.
“Terserah Pak Arga deh.” Karin was about to leave the kitchen but Arga held her back.
“I'm not done talking.”
“But I'm lazy to hear Mr. Arga talk. Don't just me dong who is required to keep a good name, Mr. Arga himself should be able to behave as a good husband in public. If you do not want me to interact with other men or eat with my coworker Mr. Arga invite me to eat where to cake.”
“Hey, I'm busy and ..”
“The busy one is not Mr. Arga doang. Last night I was busy until the night waiting for people who did not know who he wanted to pick up, he asked zonk,” said Karin.
“All that won't happen if your phone doesn't die.”
“Hello, who said he wanted to pick me up and tell me who to wait for? Pak Arga ‘kan.”
“Situations changed, meetings took longer and I was stuck in traffic,” Arga said alibi.
“Serah Pak Arga.” Karin left Arga and sat on the sofa while folding both her hands on her chest.
Arga sat on the sofa, precisely on a single sofa. “Tomorrow your last day of internship, handover ‘can your duties,” Arga said.
“Still one more week ...”
“That's a command, after that you focus on lecture.”
“I can have a party so no. Most eat-out, can be well,” suggested Karin.
“Nevent gone.”
Karin clucked at Arga's request.
“What do you want to eat, we just order,” said Arga.
“Ehh, I ordered. Mr Arga want to eat what?” asked Karin while opening her phone.
Nearly an hour later, their order arrived. Arga stared at his dining table, there were several servings of food including snacks and several cups of drinks.
“You ordered this much? Will it run out?”
“Ish noisy sir, consider it an apology Mr. Arga for abandoning me last night.”
Arga, who initially complained that there was too much for Karin to buy, seemed to enjoy and taste all kinds of food in front of him. Even occasionally they chopsticks or forks they clashed because they would take the same food.
Drt
Arga's phone on the vibrating dining table displays Renata's name on the screen. Karin glimpsed at whoever was calling looking at Arga who was about to answer the call.
“Remember Sir, keep a good name as a husband. Husband of Karin Amanda.”
