Chapter 24. Best Friend

Bie held Dimas' hand and held it.

"Dim, thank you for being my best friend. I can't give you anything as a friend. All this time you have been giving. But someday if I succeed, I will never forget Lo. The first person I'll look for when I succeed is Lo." Bie said with a smile.

"Where are you going?"

"Not anywhere."

"Why do you say, when you've been successful the first person you've been looking for me. It looks like Lo wants to go far."

"It's not Lo who will go far. You went out of town, right?"

"But I'm gonna call Lo every day. Or you go to college at my place."

"Gue's coming with Lo? It's not wrong to say Lo, Dim."

"What's wrong."

"Gue is not Lo's lover, not what other fiancee Lo's wife," said Bie laughed.

"Lo wants to be my girlfriend."

"Lo shoot me ...."

"Dong die if I shoot."

"Don't joke ah. By the way, you've always gone with me, never been dating. Later when Lo goes to college, find a good girl to be a lover. Let someone accompany you on Sunday night. My time keeps being friends."

"Lo speak honestly. Lo will go? Where's where?" said Dimas slowly.

"Gue won't leave. I'm staying here."

"Don't go anywhere, Bie. I'm going home every college vacation. If you're not around, who's gonna walk me?"

"Lo's girlfriend will be with. We can't be both forever. Lo and I will definitely have a life partner. Hope you get a good girl like Lo who's really good. I'm sorry if I can't be a good friend."

"Lo came to Keen and Cath's engagement party." Bie deliberately diverts the conversation.

"Gue pick you up tomorrow. Now we buy clothes. I bought you Lo."

Dimas took Bie to one of the Boutiques after they ate. He bought Bie a dress.

Today at one of the hotels, where the school breakup was held first, there was a crowd.

The engagement between Keenan and Catherine will be held in a moment. The guests began to fill the room.

Many of their classmates were present to congratulate them.

Bie and Dimas enter the room. His hand was held by Dimas. Many eyes were looking at the arrival of Bie.

The host has asked Keenan and Cath to come forward. The engagement will be underway soon.

Both Keenan and Cath's parents have also advanced. Mami Keenan put the ring on Cath's ring finger. So instead Mami Cath pairs the ring to Keenan's ring finger. They are officially engaged.

Bie subconsciously held the stomach, his chest felt tight to hold back the cries. Nausea began to feel, but Bie tried to hold it.

Before her tears broke, Bie asked Dimas to accompany her to congratulate Cath and Keen.

Bie and Dimas walk towards Keen and Cath standing.Until they reach out to Keen.

"Congratulations Keen, may you and Cath be happy. And waged until the wedding day." Bie said by holding tightness in the chest.

"Congratulations Cath, may you always be happy. And waged everything. May you be more successful." She hugged Cath.

"Thank you" Cath said. There was a confusion between them. Keen said nothing, but his eyes never looked at Bie.

"I'm pampering. Hope your college is good. Thank you for being my best friend all along. Till any time for me, Lo remains my best friend. I'm sorry if I can't be your best friend. I'm sorry if anything's wrong." Finally, Bie's cry broke.

Dimas held Bie's hand and after shaking hands Dimas took Bie away. Dimas doesn't want Bie and Cath to be the center of attention.

Dimas invited Bie to sit in the park. It let Bie cry spilling all his sadness.
