His assistant Zi Yu interrupted them because he found something. From his email Dr. Barnes, he found some emails that could prove there was someone in Hong Kong working for Xie Han. The email had been hacked by someone but the assistant managed to track down the hacker.

Jin Yan arrived at Evan's house in the evening. He broke into the empty house and began to imagine the act of murder that night, from the killer entered the house until he killed Evan.

He imagined how Evan was trying to escape from the killer, then took his own rifle and shot the killer in the arm. The killer's blood splashed against the wall and onto the floor.

Evan thinks he has defeated the killer but suddenly shoots Evan to death. After confirming Evan's death, the killer took Evan's rifle and cleaned his blood before he left.

Supposing there were still traces of blood in the crack of the floor, Jin Yan instantly picked up a bit of the floor's wood fibers.

Zi Yu realized Jin Yan's voice sounded weak, he became anxious but Jin Yan quickly turned off their connection. Jin Yan fainted shortly afterwards.

Jin Yan fainted, but fortunately there was Andy the genius car that could walk alone and bring Jin Yan to Dr. Barnes.

When Jin Yan regained consciousness, he saw Dr. Barnes gives him a sedative injection so Jin Yan can sleep.

Jin Yan ended up sleeping again, but a moment later, when he started to open his eyes, he instead found someone pointing a gun at him then beat him unconscious.

Meanwhile, Zi Yu and his assistant were still working hard all night, trying to identify that blood sample from Jin Yan.

The next day, Zi Yu failed to identify the blood sample, so she handed it over to Susan to be identified by the forensic agency alone.
