Mr. fishmonger was in such a severe shock that he couldn't move because he believed his son must be dead.

Xun Ran and his team arrived just then and went straight into the room. Yao Yao told him that in the documents he translated, the contents were mostly about human organs.

But in contrast to others who suspected that Jin Yan was a murderer, Yao Yao was not suspicious in the slightest.

He was actually convinced that Jin Yan might be doing research on the human body and all these organs must have been borrowed from the university or hospital.

Xun Ran was not sure. Human body parts should not be kept at home. Plus the case of the disappearance of several children that occurred recently, occurred around this mountain. Convinced that Jin Yan should be suspected of kidnapping and murder, Xun Ran wants to interrogate Jin Yan.

Yao Yao helped him call Jin Yan and coaxed him out but Jin Yan insisted on refusing on busy grounds and quickly switched off his phone. Hmm..he was actually busy looking for information about a missing child.

Shortly after, the police chief came and immediately told Xun Ran not to suspect Jin Yan because Jin Yan was not a suspect. Pak the police chief turned out to have met Jin Yan, he even referred to Jin Yan as Prof. Bo's.

The police chief then informed them that Jin Yan was the youngest postdoctoral (S3) graduate at the University of Maryland. After graduation, Jin Yan declined an invitation from a Maryland university that wanted him to remain a faculty member. Jin Yan instead returned to China and became an assistant professor in the psychology faculty of criminology.

Yao Yao refused because he was sure that if he asked for Jin Yan's signature then Jin Yan's reaction must be this... "If I fulfill the wishes of everyone who wants my signature, then my hand will definitely break" (LOL!)

Yao Yao suddenly asked Xun Ran to come to the police station now. Upon arriving there, Xun Ran looked at him continuously while pacing back and forth and asked if Jin Yan was trying to seduce Yao Yao. Huh huh? she mean?

It turns out that Jin Yan was asked by the police chief to help investigate the missing children's case. Jin Yan agreed to it but he wanted the condition, which was for Yao Yao to become his assistant. To Xun Ran's surprise, why did Jin Yan want Yao Yao to be his assistant.

Xun Ran admitted that he had offered to help Jin Yan, but was immediately rejected and guess what Jin Yan said to Xun Ran.

"What did he say?"

Xun Ran immediately imitated his style Jin Yan "Thank you for your offer. But I don't know you so I'm not interested"

Yao Yao immediately laughed hearing that. But he was still wondering why Jin Yan wanted him to be his assistant. Xun Ran told Yao Yao that if Yao Yao agreed to be Jin Yan's assistant then Yao Yao should help him report everything about Jin Yan. Jin Yan's analysis of the case he is handling, his opinion and everything he thinks.
