Love The Bule

Love The Bule
Be patient and pray as your help

John sat on the edge of his bedroom bed. The room in Uthman's halfway house that he deliberately set up to accommodate guests who came from outside because of the night and had to spend the night. Many Kiyai and great scholars who have stopped and filled this house, even if only overnight.

During the teaching of the talaqqi program, Ustad Abdullah also lived in this halfway house. However, the man was more often in the mosque. Staying one roof with Ustadz Abdullah, making Jhon a lot of learning. Moreover, the daily life that the man did, made Jhon amazed and a little imitating.

Chequelek

The house was open, Ustadz Abdullah passed through the room of Jhon which was also slightly open. He saw the bule man daydreaming.

“Jhon. What's up?” abdullah approached.

The man sat down next to John. John turned to Abdullah and smiled faintly.

“I've hurt a woman, not fought for her, but she's given everything for me. And now, he's avenging her. Maybe, what he felt first, like this. Disappointed, sad, angry. I'm angry, Ustadz. I'm upset. I've done everything for him. I've done everything for him.”

Arrived – arrived, Jhon crying. The water is unstoppable. He became a melancholy man. In fact, Jhon anti shed tears. Sad – saddened him, Jhon abstained from crying. But this time no, it feels like his world is indeed true – collapsed. I can't imagine losing Tina. I can't imagine life without that woman. Jhon is a guy who is hard to fall in love with. He thought he would never be able to fall in love again after this.

Abdullah hugged Jhon. He did not know exactly what Jhon was going through and who the woman Jhon was referring to, but he could only give her the shoulder and a little bit of calm as she could.

“Man is always faced with sadness, disappointment, and anger. Because what we think is good, is not necessarily good according to God. Disappointed, sad, angry, it came because what happened was not what we expected. But rest assured, what happened was the best. Be kind to God, Jhon. And be kind to that woman. It could be, he doesn't want to hurt you, but just doesn't want to hurt people any more.”

Jhon let go of the embrace. He wiped his tears while saying, “But I am not sincere, Ustadz. I don't sincerely see him alongside other men.”

“Not not, but not yet. It only takes time,” said Abdullah, making Jhon speechless.

Abdullah did not know enough about Jhon and Tina. Only, Abdullah often caught Jhon staring at Tina unusual, until sometimes Abdullah often nudged the elbow of his student to keep his eyes on when he saw the youngest daughter of the late Kiyai Uthman.

And, before arriving at this house, Abdullah stopped by Uthman's house and spoke briefly with Mustofa and the Tina family who were talking about the proposal.

Jhon. Then, reach into the pants pocket. “Before death, Abi received my application by giving this.”

Abdullah surprised. He also held the prayer beads used by Uthman. On several occasions, Abdullah had seen Jhon using this prayer beads after fardu prayers. Tasbih is very familiar to Abdullah, because when Uthman was given this special object, Abdullah was with him. Back then, they were guests of the Saudi kingdom due to the success of their program which had scored ten memorizers of the Quran in thirty nights.

This tasbih is a reminder of – memories given by the Saudi king to them as a form of appreciation, although in his own country did not get this privilege.

“No one knows about this?” ask Abdullah to Jhon.

Jhon.

“You didn't say this to Abid?”

Again – again, Jhon's head shook his head. “No.”

Later, Jhon tells all his stories with Tina from A to Z, including the story until Uthman dies and gives the prayer beads.

“I'm a sinner, Ustadz. I've ruined a Kiyai's daughter. And here's a reply for me.”

Abdullah paused for a moment and began to say while patting Jhon on the shoulder. “God likes people who admit mistakes. God loves those who repent. This is not a response, but a test. Being a good person is not easy. But behind the inconvenience, always stored wisdom. Hopefully you can take wisdom from all the things you experience, Jhon.”

Jhon. Talking to Abdullah, made Jhon's heart a little calm.

Abdullah encouraged his student again by patting him on the shoulder.

“Make patience and prayer as your helper.”
