9. Rat Me from Behind

Sam nodded. "alright. Let's go over there."

When Madelin and Sam cross the street. Flora just stared lazily at the two people. His face looks so messed up.

"Yes ... Sam, really suck," complained Flora in an annoyed voice.

Lady Lily felt bad for Flora. "I don't know, that that damn woman would mess up and dare to talk like that in front of you. I'll scold him hard later."

Flora turned to look at Madam Lily with a face that looked incredulous. "Wild dogs like himself, will not be easily domesticated. You can't tame a stray dog, just by bullying it." He took a breath and looked a little frustrated. "The woman is a little crazy" he continued.

"You just calm down. I would do anything to make that woman submit. You can trust me." Lady Lily was still trying to make Flora convinced.

"Do what you can. I would care too much about the outcome. Because obviously things like this will only disappoint" Flora said. He glanced towards Madam Lily and looked underestimating her.

"You can trust me. Hold my words." Lady Lily banged her chest and tried to make Flora believe. Because of how you want too, he has worked to separate Sam and Madelin.

Flora laughed cynically. Played the ends of his hair and came back busy thinking of the evil plan inside his head.

"Madeloupe?" greet Jonatan cheerful, as soon as he saw the presence of the figure of Madelin bookstore.

Madelin was a little surprised. He had not expected to meet Jonatan here.

"What are you doing here?" ask Madelin coldly.

"Finding a book, of course. No way, I'm eating here." As usual Jonatan with his casual style spoke like that to Madelin.

Sam snorted, he pulled Madelin's hand and tried to avoid Jonatan.

"Ah apparently you're with Sam huh. I happen to be dying to meet him." Jonatan turned his back on Sam.

"Do you need anything from me?" ask Sam ketus.

"Yes. I have needs with you. Regarding that need, it will greatly benefit you. So, can you not be rude to someone who wants to help you, buddy?" Jonatan touched Sam's shoulder and showed off his horse's smile.

Sam brushed Jonatan's hand off his shoulder. Staring at him was sharp and showed an aura of hostility. "People like you help? I'm not sure that you actually did it sincerely. You must be after something from me!" accuse Sam fiercely.

"I don't want anything from you. I can understand your difficult position. I have no intention of trampling on someone who has fallen." Jonatan brought his face closer to Sam. "I'm really sincere in helping. But it would be a pity if this help was ignored. I can promise you to return to your position quickly. You just have to accept my offer, and accept it. You can trust me because I'm your wife's best friend." Jonatan emphasized his last words.  "Madelin must have previously told you my previous offer. Mark Zen is the one I purposely sought specifically for you, in helping your falling business. You got special services from me Sam. You're really very lucky." Jonatan smiled brightly.

Sam knew that he hated his current situation. But he could not ignore the fact the offer from Jonatan was quite tempting. After all, Madelin himself had told himself before about this offer. And he himself, consciously already said in front of Madelin has confirmed this decision, even though at that time he was just trying to evade.

"If you really want to talk about this, we can go together somewhere else. It doesn't seem like it would be nice to talk in a place like this" Madelin said.

Jonatan smiled gently. "Aha you're right Madelin. We'd better go to the cafe down there. Incidentally there is your favorite cheese pie menu. I'll treat you guys." Jonatan looks very excited.

Madelin glanced at Sam, and it was obvious in his eyes that Sam was actually holding back his emotions. The veils on his face were very clear.

Sam still did not answer. But his hands were busy slicing pieces of meat until they were very small.

"You won't be able to eat meat of that size" Madelin scolded as she thrust a spoon at Sam.

Sam was surprised, he was unaware of his behavior. After he took a spoon from Madelin, he then looked at Jonatan sharply. "All right, I agree. But you have to remember this deal really has strong boundaries. Just because I accept your help, doesn't mean I'm your subordinate and obey your will!" Sam stared at Jonatan. "

Jonatan smiled casually. "of course. There are no employers or subordinates here. I'm just offering sincerity. After all, your beautiful wife Madelin, herself also seems to have agreed to this deal." Jonatan turned his gaze towards Madelin.

Madelin who felt stared at instantly turned her gaze in the other direction. It was clear that Jonatan was looking to flirt with him.

"I think we'll just get here. I have agreed to your wishes anyway. And stop trying to keep glancing at my wife!" snapped Sam who was fed up with Jonatan's flirtatious behavior.

Sam pulls Madelin's hand and leaves Jonatan. Jonatan just laughed with satisfaction.

"You made a deal with him?" ask Flora while combing Sam's hair sleeping on her lap.

Sam sighed and looked frustrated. "Yes. I accepted the offer from the bastard. The offer was so attractive that I couldn't just let it go." Sam was completely out of thought with himself. He hates Jonatan but he ends up, in a deal to receive help from the man.

"You don't have to take it too deep into your heart. It's also just a business deal. But you have to be careful with that guy" Flora told Sam. "All this would be easier, if only you would accept my offer to help your business instead of working with that bastard. I still don't understand why you turned down my offer." Flora sounded disappointed.

Sam got up from Flora's lap, then rubbed Flora's face gently. "I can't get you into trouble because of my problems. I've relied too much on you and I'm self-conscious, never giving you a similar reply."

"Do you feel inferior in your own ability?" ask Flora curiously.

"It's really bad I admit it, but it's true" Sam said disappointed.

Flora instantly pulled Sam into her arms. He hugged the man tightly. "Patience because of me, will help you get out of this. You just need to stay with me and all your problems will be solved."

"I believe you, Flora," said Sam, who was comfortable in Flora's arms.

"Look at the snake is very good at seducing. But he put on a mask and acted as if I were in the same boat with him." Jonatan watched his smartphone screen in annoyance.

He's already installed eavesdroppers on Flora's smart phone, and is spying on the woman.

"If he thinks he can play it safe, then I'll give him an interesting surprise. Just wait for Flora" muttered Jonatan.
