The Main House

Daniel slept on the bed. Staring at the ceiling of the room, while imagining the face of Serena. His heart was filled with desire. Even though it's only been half a day not together.

“Darling, what are you doing now. Are you all right? are you thinking about me? are you laughing with him?”

All the questions filled his mind at this moment. He tried repeatedly to close his eyes, but never could. Daniel sat back on the bed. He picked up Serena's phone left on the table.

“You left it, knowing here there's a tracking system instead. You are a smart woman.”

Daniel activated Serena's phone. Again he had to be disappointed, when he saw the phone was using a password. Daniel took the phone out of the room. In front of the room, the two guards on guard lowered their heads respectfully as they saw Daniel exit the room. Daniel doesn't care much. He kept walking down the stairs. Heading to Tama's room located on the lower floor.

Mr. Han is still not asleep, he sees Daniel and comes to Daniel's current position. Mr. Han bowed respectfully, as he arrived before Daniel.

“There can I help you with, Mister?” ask Mr. Han politely.

Daniel walked up to the dining table. He sat down and put Serena's phone on the table.

“Call Tama!” daniel's orders were brief.

Mr. Han bowed respectfully, “Good, Mr.” Mr. Han walked towards Tama's room.

Daniel was still sitting quietly while watching the phone screen. He had just realized that he had never kept Serena's number. Daniel smiled faintly as he remembered that.

“Good night, Sir. Can I help you?”

Tama had arrived beside Daniel. He bowed respectfully, before taking Daniel's orders.

“Tama, I want to open this mobile password.” Daniel holds Serena's phone in front of Tama.

“That's Miss Serena's phone, Mr.”

“Yes, I can't open it,” Daniel replied with a disappointed face.

“Mari Sir. Let me check.”

Daniel gave the phone to Tama, “Sit.”

Tama sat in one of the chairs adjacent to Daniel. Mr. Han bowed respectfully, before going to the kitchen to make a drink. Daniel keeps watching Tama fiddling with Serena's phone. Daniel believes that Tama can help him now.

“This Mr.” Tama gives mobile phones that no longer use passwords.

Daniel received the phone with one smile, “You can always count on.” Daniel checked the phone carefully. His forehead shriveled when he saw one call coming out of an unfamiliar number.

“What's up, Mister?” ask Tama when she learns of Daniel's current attitude change.

“I'm sure, this is the man's number. Can we find out what they're talking about? and their current position with this man's number?” Daniel looked at Tama's face with hope.

“I'll try it, Sir. I'm going to the room for a while to take a laptop.” Tama moved from her seat. He went towards the room.

Daniel is still focusing on the screen of Serena's phone. The outgoing call, which was only one minute long, caused a huge curiosity for him at this time.

Mr. Han emerged from the kitchen, carrying two glasses of tea. He placed it carefully on the table. Mr. Han bowed respectfully, “Please on a drink, Mr.”

“Thank you, Mr. Han,” Daniel said without looking at Mr. Han's face. The look in his eyes kept him focused on the mobile screen.

“I excuse me, Mr.” Mr. Han twisted his body to leave Daniel.

“Rest, Mr. Han.” Daniel looked at the back of Mr. Han who had turned his back on him.

Mr. Han twisted his body again, and bowed respectfully, “Thank you, Mr.”

Mr. Han and Tama cross paths with each other. Mr. Han headed towards the kitchen, while Tama headed towards Daniel. Tama put her laptop on the table. He sat quietly before activating the laptop.

“Mari, Sir. Let me try.”

Daniel gave the phone to Tama. He was already impatient, knowing everything that Serena and Zeroun were talking about.

Patiently, Daniel waited for Tama. Sometimes he turned his eyes to every corner of the house that already looked silent.

“What Diva have you guys investigated? can he come home in the afternoon?” Daniel looked at Tama's face with a serious look.

“Already, Sir. Looks like a good female Diva. He will not threaten us at this time. Looks like Miss Serena's idea to allow Diva to come home in the afternoon, not wrong.” Tama answered Daniel's question, while continuing to focus on his laptop screen.

“He will be happy, if can see Diva come home afternoon.” Daniel smiled at Serena's sweet smile.

Daniel was silent listening to Serena and Zeroun talk. He smiled when he finished listening, “It turns out all this is because of Shabira.” Daniel leaned his body on the chair.

“Do Miss Serena know a woman named Shabira, Mister?” tanya curiously.

“The woman was Serena's right hand. Shabira and Kenzo's marriage failed, because Serena banned Shabira,” Daniel replied casually.

“Did the woman run away from her marriage, because Miss Serena forbade her, Mister?”

Daniel raised both shoulders, “I don't understand that. But right now, Serena feels guilty for Kenzo. He wants to return Shabira back to Kenzo.”

“May Miss Serena manage to find it,” Tama is back in focus on her laptop screen.she is trying to track Zeroun's current position.

“Master, the man is in country Z. In a remote town. Looks like this city is also undetected from the government map.” Tama turned the laptop, until the screen faced Daniel.

“What is Serena with him? what they do there.” Daniel stared at the laptop screen carefully.

“Master, do I need to send someone to pick up Miss Serena?”

“Don't, we wait until tomorrow night. If he doesn't come back, we'll go to pick him up.” Daniel smiled faintly.

“Good, Mr.”

Daniel took a cup of tea, which Mr. Han prepared, drinking it slowly. Her heart calmed down a little, when it had already managed to trace Serena's current position. Daniel put the glass back on the table. He got up from his seat, then took Serena's phone.

“I'll go back to sleep. You should rest too, Tama. Tomorrow we'll get back to work.” Daniel turned his body around to Tama.

“Good, Sir. Happy resting.”

Daniel continued walking towards the room. Although he was eager to pick up Serena at the moment, but all he was still delaying. He did not want to break Serena's trust. This is the only way Daniel has, to prove his love for Serena.

Sleep well there, honey. Quickly come back with me.

The State Z.

Serena wakes up from her sleep. His heart felt, as Daniel spoke his name. Serena saw Shabira's hand encircling her body. He took the hand and put it down slowly. His body feels very tired. Serena sat on the end of the bed, lowering her legs down.

“Daniel, I'm sure. If you're thinking about me right now.” Serena smiled. He got up from his seat and walked out of the room.

Serena sees Lukas and Zeroun sleeping on a long wooden chair. He just looked at Zeroun from a distance. He walked to the door to get out of there. Serena watched the hallway look silent. He walked towards the balcony facing the city. Serena's current location is on a plateau. From the balcony, the view of the city at night is seen so clearly.

“What do you see?” Zeroun's voice broke Serena's daydream.

Serena looked back. He smiled as he looked at Zeroun who was now behind him. Serena looked back at the view of the city.

“I just want to find peace. All this time, my life has never been quiet. Always filled with fear and worry. Shabira did choose the right place. Here, all calm. No one would dare to disturb him.”

Zeroun walked to the side of Serena, he looked at the same sight as Serena, “Police? how does he get sobriety, when away from the person he loves?”

Zeroun looked at Serena's face, not only did he ask about Shabira's feelings. But that question represented his heart at this moment.

Serena looked at Zeroun's face, “Besok will feel a little busy. Before returning to country X, I want that tranquility to settle in my heart.” Serena twisted her body, and walked away leaving Zeroun.

Quickly, Zeroun held Serena's hand. Preventing him from leaving. Zeroun pulls Serena's hand, until they face each other.

“What do you want? Why can't you leave that man and live with me?” Zeroun looked at Serena's face with hope, if Serena would leave Daniel and be happy with him.

“I'm sorry, but I can't do it.”

Serena released Zeroun's hand, and left Zeroun there. A round of tears came back. Quickly, he wiped away every drop of tears that fell.

Zeroun looked at Serena's back with a disappointed look, “You evil woman, Erena!” Zeroun shouted loudly. He threw his eyes off Serena.

I hate me like that. I won't be able to leave you, if you keep doing good to me.

Serena went back inside, and closed the door slowly.
