S2 Chapter 32

The Zeroun Zein House.

Zeroun sat in his study. Checking some company files. Someone knocked on the door. Zeroun gave the order to enter. Luke went inside with a man in an official suit. The two bowed respectfully before Zeroun.

Zeroun did not take his eyes off. He kept checking some files on the table.

“Excuse me, Sir. I've got info about Sonia.” The man put some files on Zeroun's desk.

Zeroun stopped his activities. He glanced towards the file that had just been placed. Without saying much, Zeroun took the files open their contents one by one. He put the file back with an uninterested face.

“Sorry, Sir. If you are not satisfied with my work, give me one more chance.” The man was scared. He looked down with a guilty face.

Zeroun leaned his body. Staring intently at Luke and the man's face in turn. Take a deep breath, before letting out a few words.

“I no longer care about that woman. Info about her, no longer means.” Zeroun took back the company files. Check the file without caring about the man's work.

“Good, Sir. Good evening. I excuse.” The man bowed respectfully before leaving Zeroun's study.

Luke just silently stared, looking at Zeroun who seemed to be busy himself. He knew that Zeroun was trying to forget Erena. Zeroun filled his mind with various strategies for the advancement of Z.E. Group.

“Bos, have you eaten?” ask Luke carefully.

“I'm not hungry. My work is still a lot, you better not bother too much.” Zeroun did not want to look at Luke's face.

“Good, Boss.” Luke looked respectfully. He stepped away leaving Zeroun alone, inside the room.

Zeroun looked at Luke's departure. He watched Luke until the door closed again. Zeroun glanced back at the photo of Sonia scattered on the table.

This woman is a very cunning person. I'm sure you'll get in a lot of trouble because of this woman.

Zeroun gripped his head with both hands. His mind was still filled with Erena's name. Even though he had tried hard to forget about Erena. But Erena's name always filled her head. Her heart was still unwilling if Erena was in danger. He wanted to always protect Erena from all the dangers that threatened.

The Main House of Daniel Edritz Chen.

Serena just finished calling Shabira. He smiled happily when he heard from Shabira. Serena's face pouted again, as she looked at Daniel's face. Daniel pulls Serena's hand. Hugging Serena's body into her arms. Looked at Serena's face carefully.

“Do not get angry. I'm just so worried about you. I love you so much.” Daniel dipped the head of Serena with tenderness.

“I don't like being followed by bodyguards.” Serena is still trying to turn down the bodyguard Daniel sent for her.

“Honey, this is all for your good too.” Daniel tucked Serena's hair behind his ear.

“You don't trust me? I can take care of myself.”

“Good. Because you came home safe today. Later in the day, I won't send any more bodyguards. But remember, if you're in danger. I'll send back the bodyguards to take care of you.”

Serena smiled sweetly, “Thank you. I'll be fine. Don't worry.”

“Come take a shower.” Without asking for Serena's approval, Daniel embraces Serena's waist. Take him into the bathroom. Serena could only keep quiet at Daniel's request. His stomach was already feeling very hungry. I want to take a shower and go downstairs for dinner.

A few moments later.

Daniel and Serena are done with the bath. Both of them were already wearing casual clothes tonight. Daniel took Serena downstairs. Sometimes he teases Serena, to make Serena misbehave and smile happily.

“Do not like that. Here many bodyguards are watching us.” Serena blocks Daniel from teasing her again with a kiss.

Daniel just smiled sweetly. He pulled Serena's hand back and took her to the dining table. Two maids pulled out chairs to make room for Daniel and Serena.

Tama and Biao also stood there to accompany Daniel and Serena to dinner. Mr. Han and Mr. Sam are busy arranging some menus that will be served tonight.

“I really like this soup.” Serena took a spoonful of soup, stuffing the soup into the small bowl before her.

Daniel smiled, he glanced at Tama and Biao who were silently staring.

“Sit down, we'll eat together.”

Tama and Biao bowed respectfully. The two smiled before walking towards the chair and sat down one table with Daniel and Serena.

No one uttered a word. Everyone is busy with their own thoughts. Until dinner ended.

Serena took a tissue to clean her mouth. Daniel put the empty glass back on the table.

“Honey, after this I will take care of some work in the workspace. Rest in the room, wait for me there.” Daniel held Serena's hand. He gave an order to Serena.

“Good.” Serena moved from her seat.

Everyone's attention was turned towards the main door. Shabira ran into the house. His face looked sad. He wiped his tears repeatedly, without seeing anyone around him.

“Shabira,” cried Serena from the dining table.

Shabira looked at Serena's face. He ran towards Serena.Hugging Serena's body to vent his heartache to Kenzo.

“What happened?” Serena stroked Shabira's back.

Shabira still doesn't want to talk. She continued to cry in Serena's arms.

Biao and Tama just silently looked at Shabira. There's not much they can do right now. Both of them prefer to be quiet and listen to everything that happens.

“Shabira, say. Did you have a fight with Kenzo?” Serena takes off Shabira's embrace. He looked at Shabira's face to ask for an explanation.

“Kakkak an. Kenzo's a bad guy.” Shabira began to let out a word, occasionally she caught her breath.

“She said, if we were in this house for a mission. He thought that we would kill Mr. Daniel.” Shabira again wiped away her falling tears.

Serena just smiles, “Shabira, Kenzo is not wrong.”

Everyone was shocked, when they heard Serena's words. Shabira shook her head, “What does big brother mean? we don't have any mission to be in this house.”

“Shabira, Kenzo knows what our job was. That's a sign that he loves Daniel. He didn't want Daniel in danger."

Daniel was silent to Serena's explanation. Tama and Biao returned to breathing a sigh of relief. Although both of them knew from the beginning that Serena loved Daniel.

“Why should he do that?” shabira asked confusedly.

“Because Kenzo is my cousin. He's my brother Shabira. I think he's changed a lot at the moment.” Daniel answered Shabira's question. He smiled happily again, when he heard Kenzo's defense for him.

“Sepupu?” shabira asked in disbelief.

“Iya Shabira.” Connect Serena with a smile.

Shabira was silent to digest the words of Daniel and Serena.

Why is everything like this. The world is so narrow.

“Now go to the room and clean yourself. The waiter will deliver the food to the room. About Kenzo, we will discuss tomorrow again.”

“Good, Brother.” Shabira obeyed Serena. He left the dining room, climbed the stairs to the room.

Serena smiled looking at Shabira. He again thought of a way to reunite Kenzo and Shabira again.

“Sayang. What are you thinking?” Daniel held Serena's hand. Walk towards Serena until the position of the two facing each other.

“Thinking of Kenzo charges?”

Serena shook her head, “I'm just a little tired.”

“I'll take you to room.” Daniel looked towards Tama and Biao.

“Wait in the workspace.

“Good, Sir,” said Biao and Tama together.

Daniel embraces Serena's waist, taking her away towards the room.
