Chapters. 3. Trying To Believe.

Via immediately left the party with Riani and her daughter, holding back tears as she did not want Yara to see him cry.

Along the way, there was no sound in the car, several times Yara invited Mama to talk and Via only answered briefly.

"Are you okay, Vi?"

Without even being asked, Riani should already know how her current friend felt. It's just that he didn't know what to say to dispel the silence.

"i'm fine, Rin!" reply Via while turning his face to the window, it certainly makes Riani sad.

Not long after, they had arrived at the courtyard of Via's house. The woman immediately came down with her daughter, as well as Riani.

"is Yara asleep?" ask Via who immediately got the ring from his daughter.

Via smiled as he rubbed Yara's head, then he looked towards Riani who was standing next to him. "Rin, can you take Yara for a walk?"

Riani who understood what Via was doing instantly nodded her head. "Sure, Vi! I'll take him for a walk to the park, it must be very crowded there!"

"Why? Does Auntie want to take me to the park?"

Yara looked at Riani with twinkling eyes, and of course made Via and Riani instantly smile with anxiety.

"Of course, honey! There, get in the car first!"

Without being told twice, the little girl directly entered back into the car with a burning spirit.

After seeing Yara get into the car, Riani immediately turned her gaze towards Via. "Vi, i-"

Via grasping Riani's hand made the woman unable to continue her speech. "I'm fine, Rin! Thank you for taking me to the party!"

Riani looked at Via wistfully, she hoped that nothing had happened to her best friend's household.

Not long after, came Mahen who immediately diverted their attention. The two women stared at Mahen sharply, as if wanting to pounce on the man right now.

Mahen who had not yet gotten out of the car tried to calm himself down, he should be able to explain everything to Via so that his wife did not think things through.

"Father!"

Yara who saw her Papa coming out of the car immediately shouted as she waved her hand, making Mahen smile awkwardly.

"Darling, why don't you go inside?" mahen asked as he walked closer to Via and Riani.

"I'm waiting for you, Mom!" Then Via turned to look at Riani. "I'll pick Yara up for a second Rin, I'll call you!"

Riani nodded her head immediately. "Okay, then we'll go for a minute Vi! Let's go Mahen!"

Mahen who did not know anything just looked at them in confusion, especially when Riani brought her daughter. "Honey, why is Yara coming with him?" He felt astonished.

Via who was about to step foot was forced to undo his intentions when he heard Mahen's question. "I think there's more to it than your question, Mom!"

Glug. Mahen swallowed his saliva violently, he then followed the steps of Via who had entered first into the house.

They sat in the living room facing each other, where Via stared at Mahen sharply making the man nervous.

"so, can Mas explain why he was at the party?" ask Via directly, and of course he doesn't want to mince words anymore right now.

"i-it's a party for one of the new employees at the office, honey! He invited Mas to come there, so there was no way Mas wouldn't come!" mahen replied with a faint smile.

"Yes, the meeting is over, baby! It turns out that sooner than Mas thinks, that's why Mas can come to Clara's party!" Deg, Mahen cursed his mouth that had been exhausted to mention the name of the woman.

"Ooh, so her name is Clara!" Via nodded his head. "It seems like the party was so important, that you didn't have time to tell me, Mom?"

Mahen immediately shook his head. "It's not like that, honey! Mas just did not have time to news, because the intention of Mas was just a moment there!"

"Hem .. but, why do you guys look so friendly, Mas? He grabbed your arm, earlier! It seems like your relationship is very close!"

Mahen was silent, he had to think of a way for Via not to continue to suspect him. "Darling!" He got up and moved to sit next to his wife.

"Why should we fuss about all this, don't you trust your husband?"

Mahen wrapped his hands around Via's waist, hoping that what he was doing would stop the woman's questioning.

"i don't believe it, Mom! But I see with my own eyes, of course you have to explain!"

"Yes-yes, I understand! It's just not like you think, honey! He was just an employee at the office, and Mas had to come there to appreciate it. If it's about the handle, honestly I'm not aware!"

Via looked into Mahen's eyes to find some honesty there. "Are you telling the truth, Mom?"

"Of course, honey! When the hell did Mas ever lie to you, you know for yourself that Mas loves you so much!"

Via sighed heavily, then he nodded his head making Mahen instantly kiss his entire face. "But remember, Mom! Don't be like this anymore, I don't want to think about anything bad about you!" He held the mouth of Mahen who was about to kiss him again.

"Yes, Honey! I'm sorry, but next time I'll tell you!"

Via nodded his head again, then they hugged each other to dampen their anger.

"I hope you're telling the truth, Mom! Because I don't want anything to happen to our household!"

After everything was done, Via immediately called Riani to bring Yara home.

"thank you, Rin!" via.

"Thank you for what, just like that!" Riani flicked her lips in annoyance. "But you're okay, right?" He still feels worried.

Via smiled as he nodded his head, making Riani breathe a sigh of relief. "Just misunderstand me, Rin!"

"Thank God, I'll go home!"

Riani immediately went home with a wave of her hand, then Via went back into the house after seeing his friend leave.

She heard the sound of water splashing sign that her husband was bathing, Via then took Mahen's suit that was placed on the bed.

However, when Via took the suit, there was accidentally a paper that fell. He immediately took the paper and was about to throw it away, but his eyes saw that the paper was proof of payment for the rental of a building.

Deg. "This is the building that was used for the party?"
