Mahligai Love Divided

Mahligai Love Divided
Chapters. 51. Staying an Obligation.

Everyone immediately stared intently at a woman who had just said about the affair, as well as Via and Vano.

"Why are you surprised? It is clear that the disease is always attached to a businessman, they must have an affair. So is her husband, isn't Vi?" He turned his eyes towards Via.

Via let out a heavy sigh to calm his heart that was starting to flare up. "There is no perfect human being in this world, so we should not say such things about others."

"You're right, but it's not a taboo anymore for society. A great businessman must not be enough with one woman, let alone your husband is a sultan,"

"Yes right. My only friend who is a small businessman has a lot of infidelity, especially like her husband. Obviously he's got a lot of infidelity, his behavior must be bad."

The discussion had started to spread everywhere making Via's chest smoulder, as well as Vano who had clenched both hands tightly.

"Thank you for your concern for me, but everything you say is not true." Via getting up from that place made everyone surprised, especially Vano. "Thank God, my husband is not who you say he is. It is true that we are in the process of divorce, but all that does not mean Mas Mahen is a bad man."

Instantly the atmosphere became silent, both Vano and his friends seemed silent to hear what he said.

"I told you that everyone is imperfect, and everyone makes mistakes. Including all of us, but that doesn't mean that the guilty are bad, and the right is good. Sometimes what we see and hear doesn't necessarily correspond to what happens."

Vano's heart rumbled to hear word for word that Via said. For the first time his chest was pounding so hard that his eyes could not turn away from someone.

"I'm sorry if I might have offended you, but I wanted to say we're okay. God willing will ease all our affairs, God willing will always keep us from all bad things." Via tried hard to smile at them even though his heart was very painful.

"Thank you for inviting me to join, I'm really happy. If so I say goodbye to friends, hopefully one day we can meet again. Assalamu'alaikum." Via immediately turned around and left from that place. Tears immediately dripped down his face as he walked out of the room, his heart really hurt right now.

"Cih, when we are only worried about his household, but he even speaks like an ustadzah," exclaimed one of the women while grumbling annoyed.

"It is fitting that my sister-in-law has never met her friends, it turns out that her friends are bajing*an!"

All of the friends of Via instantly stared at Vano sharply. "Whatdidyou say? How dare you say we're like that!"

"What are you doing? Have you forgotten that he's Mr Adrian's son?" One of the men held the other man, he held the hand of the man who was about to attack Vano.

"Currently, trash like you must be destroyed!" Vano immediately turned around and left the place. Just look at it later, he'll teach the lesson to those who have already hurt Via.

Via, who was outside the cafe, appeared to be leaning against the side wall of the building. He squatted his body with his head bowed, of course the tears were already flowing profusely at this moment.

"Oh my God, I am strong. Please strengthen me." She cried bitterly, but she promised not to cry anymore.

Via's body gasped in shock as a hand reached out a handkerchief for him, quickly wiping his eyes and raising his head. "Va-Vano?"

This happened again like a while ago. Vano held out a handkerchief as she cried in papa Adrian's mini library, and now the man also gave her a handkerchief.

"Thank you, please." Via took the handkerchief and then woke up with a puffy face. "Sorry yes, because with my friend we can't speak well. Maybe next time we're"

"Why did you do it?"

Via was speechless at the question Vano was asking, while the man stared at him sharply.

"I'm sorry, I haven't seen them in a long time so I forgot that we should have talked" said Via.

Vano clucked irritably at the answer from the woman. "Why did you do all that? Why are you defending your husband, huh?"

Via gasped at the question that Vano returned to say, he did not expect that the meaning of the man's question was not in accordance with what he answered.

"I don't understand why you're still defending Mahen, when what your friends are saying is true. My brother has a mistress, and maybe after you're divorced they'll get married."

Via looked at Vano with teary eyes, but a moment later he smiled faintly making the man look at him in wonder. "Is not the duty of a wife to cover her husband's disgrace?"

Vano. His eyes stared intently at Via's face with hardened jaws, but he was still waiting for the continuation of the woman's answer.

"The wife is like a garment that covers the body of her husband. If the clothes were torn, then the body would be visible to others. And so did what they said earlier. I know that what Mahen did is the same as what they said, but it's my duty to cover up what he's done,"

"Torn clothes will definitely be replaced with new ones, that's what your husband is currently doing."

Via smiled back at what Vano said. "You're right. Maybe he chose to change the old clothes with the new ones, but that doesn't mean he hasn't taken care of and treated the old clothes well ."
