Chapters. 79. Honesty in front of the family.

Vano, who was in a cafe with River, was shocked when he got a call from Mahen. He was also even more surprised when the man told him to come there immediately.

"Si*dance. She must have told mom and dad everything. Fuck up!" Vano clenched both of his hands tightly. He was afraid that Via would be dragged into his family's troubles, especially now that his words were also in this place.

"Alright, River. Do everything I tell you to do, and keep calm so that everything goes according to what we plan." Vano patted the secretary on the shoulder who immediately got the nod from River. "Now I'll be back, and you'll be home too."

"Good, Sir."

Vano and River immediately left the place for their respective purposes. Along the way, Vano convinced himself that he would tell everything to his entire family. "I won't involve you in this, Via. And I hope my family won't bother you because of this."

A little while later, Vano had arrived at the front yard of Mahen's house. He got out of the car and into the house.

Vano's arrival was immediately welcomed by everyone who had been waiting for him in the family room. "Mama, papa? What are you guys doing here?" He sat down next to his mother who was silent and looked at him.

Papa Adrian sighed heavily upon seeing his youngest son. He calmed down before asking about the truth of Mahen's words.

Vano glanced at Mahen who was looking at him sharply, he then revealed a thin smile to make Mahen immediately throw his face.

"Do you know why we told you to come here, Vano?" asked papa Adrian to make Vano immediately turn his eyes towards the papa.

"I know, Pa."

Yes, papa Adrian had guessed that Vano knew the reason why they called. Because all this time, the man always knew about anything before anyone else told him.

"So what your brother said is true, Vano?" asked ifa Erina who had heard the story from Mahen.

Vano looked at everyone sharply, but he did not look at Clara in the slightest because he felt unwilling.

"Before I answer Oma's question, can you guys promise me one thing."

Everyone frowned when they heard what Vano said, especially Mahen.

"You're not in a can-" position"

Vano directly raised his hand to stop Mahen's remark, making the atmosphere start to tense up.

"Alright, tell me what promise we have to do," said mama Camelia made Mahen look at her mother cynically.

"You love him more than I do." Mahen became very upset.

"I want you to promise me not to interfere, or do anything to Via after what happens."

Everyone was speechless at Vano's words, because what the man said seemed to have answered their questions.

"So, are you really related to Via?" ask Adrian in disbelief.

Vano was silent for a moment making the atmosphere become silent and gripping, he then took a deep breath before saying everything.

"Well, I assume you all agreed to the promise I made. Then I'll tell you everything."

Everyone stared at Vano with their hearts racing, as if they were waiting for something good or bad.

Everyone was astonished by what Vano said. Their bodies suddenly became stiff and could not even utter anything, as if time was stopping right now.

"I know that all of you must be surprised, even I didn't expect that I would fall in love with Via to this extent,"

"And you're saying that you don't have any relationship?" mahen said cynically. "Then what are you saying?"

"I told you I loved him, brother. But that doesn't mean we're in a special relationship more than just friends,"

"That's impossible!" Mahen got up from his seat while staring at Vano full of anger. "You think we're all bod*oh what?"

Vano laughed at Mahen's reaction. "Do you think all those people are just like you and that woman?" Vano pointed at Clara through her mouth making the woman flinch.

"You-you"

"Me and Via are not like you guys who can't make a friendship, and instead fall into a dark relationship."

Mahen clenched his hand as he could not refute Vano's words, while the others still did not react to anything.

"I did love Via, but we were only friends because I spent a lot of time with Yara. With a 3-year-old little girl who is not cared for by her own father, even to meet her father. His mother must be threatened. What a pity that little girl is,"

"Shut your mouth, Vano. Don't scapegoat Yara in this matter. I know you met my son on purpose in order to meet Via, you made Yara an excuse to be able to mix love with her mother" Mahen said sharply.

"Is that how low my love for Yara is in your eyes, sister?" vano asked as he rubbed his face violently. "But yeah, it's all so much better than what you did to Yara. "Enough, that's enough!" Mama Camelia got up from her seat while pulling Vano's hand to stand up. Then suddenly ....
