The next day Rania was sitting daydreaming on the living room couch, a lighted tv that was displaying a funny scene from a cartoon did not make the face of the girl change in the slightest.

His mind glared everywhere thinking about the situation of his sister Natalya who was still not clear how she was, Reno came to Rania with a tray of food and drinks.

Reno put the tray on the table and took the plate with her that sat beside Rania, the dreamy girl did not look at Reno who was beside her, raga Rania is not there.

Reno accidentally did not enter work just to accompany his sad wife Rania, he could not leave Rania for a second especially when she was like this, he did not want his wife to continue to grieve because of the events that befell his brother and him himself.

“Eat first Ran, from yesterday you have not eaten dear” said Reno while taking a spoonful of food and trying to feed Rania.

Rania turned to the food in front of her and also Reno who was smiling gently at her.”No Mas I'm not hungry” He said later.

“I beg Ran eat just a little if not I also will not be able to eat” said Reno seduce Rania.

“What do you mean Mas?” Rania was confused.

“I haven't eaten from yesterday Ran either, so if you don't eat now I'll also starve” Reno said with a smile.

Rania was stunned to hear how her husband could sacrifice so much just for an illegitimate child like her, she felt disinclined and did not deserve all of Reno's kindness to her.

“Well please bribe me Mas” Rania said finally.

Reno smiled happily to hear him slowly he began to feed his wife who accepted his bribe with a smile and tears flowing slowly on her cheeks.

“Don't cry baby you're prettier smile without crying” Reno rubbed Rania's tears gently.

Rania nodded assent.”You eat also yes Mas let us both full” said Rania while feeding the Reno he received with pleasure.

They eat in silence until Rania spends her last feed, Reno gives Rania a drink and then she puts the tray back into the kitchen, while watching Reno television holding Rania who complies while watching tv.

“Oh yes Where are the others, why is no one visible?” Ask Rania.

Since she left her room, Rania has not seen her parents-in-law and Alvian, but they always gather at the dinner table at breakfast time but not today they are all invisible to her nose.

“Mama same Papa visited Nat kak runs out it might be Papa will go straight to the office and Mama will come home here, while Al you know now he has helped Papa in the office” Reno explained.

Rania nodded in understanding.”I miss Nat, is he going to be okay?” Rania asked slowly her eyes looked back softly.

“Of course Ran, do you want to go there to see your sister, I'm sure we will already be able to know the condition” said Reno invite Rania.

Rania shook her head quickly rejecting Reno.”'s invitationNo Mas I don't want to make trouble again, Papa won't like to see me there” He replied smiling wryly.

“Well let's just wait for Mama to come home yes Ran, don't daydream dear” said Reno while pinching Rania's nose slowly, making his wife smile at him.

Whether until when he had to see the sadness in Rania's eyes, if allowed to want it was like he was giving a lesson to Bram who had made Rania so bad, plus the condition of his brother who is being treated now, Reno had no idea how much of a burden his wife was carrying.

For the sake of Rania all Reno will do for his beloved wife so that the girl can return smiling and cheerful as ever, but for the time being he could only quietly accompany his wife when the time came when he himself would act.

Not long after Kikan came home and immediately sat in front of Rania and Reno, he saw Rania who looked at him expectantly, he smiled wryly at the state of his favorite daughter-in-law who looked sad.

“How is Nat's sister, is she okay Ma?” Reno asked Rania.

“He survived if you want to know, now the situation is stable enough” replied Kikan staring at them with a difficult view to read.

Hearing that Rania immediately cried happily at last her brother survived, now she can breathe a sigh of relief after hearing the state of Natalya, she turned to look at Reni and Kikan with a sparkle of joy.

“See what I said Nat brother must be happy baby so don't be sad again ya” said Reni joined in smiling.

Kikan looked at Rania's happy-looking face, his heart was stunned to feel guilty because he couldn't tell the truth to the poor girl in front of him, she knows maybe Rania will be hit if she says about Nat's true state.

Rania nodded assent.”Yes Mas I promise will not be sad again, thank you Ma for everything” said Rania looked at Kikan with a smile.

“Of course my dear Mama's most dear child, here son Mama wants to hug you nak” said Kikan while stretching his hands.

Rania immediately rushed into the embrace of Kikan who hugged her tightly, the girl looked better now, she hoped that this girl in her arms would always smile without knowing tears of sadness again.

At night when Rania comes out of her room due to the thirst she accidentally hears her husband's voice in Kikan's room, she slowly listens to their conversation from the slightly open door cubicle.

There she sees Kikan crying in the arms of her husband William, while Reno sits quietly on the floor.

“Mama is afraid Ren if Rania knows Nat paralyzed she will blame herself, Mama does not want to see Mama's favorite daughter-in-law sad again” Kikan said while sobbing.

“It's enough Ma don't worry Jo and Bram can definitely recover Nat's state, I'm sure they will deploy the best medical team for him” William said soothingly.

“But what if Rania knows her brother is paralyzed and until now Nat has not realized also what will happen to him?” Sobs Kikan increasingly became thinking about it.

“Don't worry that I will take care of Rania, until everything is calm don't say anything to Rania” Reno said as she looked at her parents.

“Sure Ren, let alone lat doctor Nat alan immediately realized if he was aware we can talk slowly on Rania” William agreed to Reno's proposal.

Reno nodded in understanding that she was breathing rough while massaging her aching head, once again she had to work hard for Rania, Reno hoping that Rania could understand when she found out Nat's true state.

“Ran I love you my strong girl, don't give up because there is me here who will strengthen you Ran”.

Heart seemed to be hit hard hearing the conversation of her mother-in-law Kikan so she meant earlier when she said Nat survived is she survived with a paralyzed state, Rania smiled grimly this is all her fault, all her fault, he regretted all his deeds he also regretted his presence in this world.

“Yes Allah I beg you not to make Brother Nat paralyzed, why not just me who is paralyzed not Nat” brother he said in his heart while sobbing.

Rania immediately returned to her room, while sitting at her bedside she looked at the ceiling of her room with a smile, Rania immediately wiped her tears when she heard the sound of Reno's approaching footsteps.

“Mas you from anywhere?” He asked with a smile at Reno who was walking towards him.

“I ran out of fresh air baby, why did you wake up Ran?” Reno said lying while sitting down and stroking Rania's hair.

Rania smiles pretending to believe Reno's words, she knows her husband will not be able to be honest with her.”I can't sleep if there is no you Mas, less anget not who luk” said Rania made Reno chuckle slowly.

“Then I will warm you dear, let's sleep while I hug” Reno said taking Rania to lie down with him.

A few hours passed but the girl could not close her eyes, she turned to look at Reno's sleeping face, Rania smiled at the regular breathing of her husband, who was sleeping, he must have been exhausted from looking after her all day.

“I'm sorry Mas, I love you!” Rania said softly while kissing Reno's forehead.
