We're heading for Foldcury's base. As Chris explained to me. Foldcury was an illegal venture built by Arex's father. But it wasn't as wide as it was now. Thanks to Krishan, this illegal business is advancing and growing at a rapid rate.
To cover this great undertaking, Krishan built a magnificent hotel and gave it the same name, Foldcury. So that people don't get suspicious when they discuss this work outside.
Krishan also formed a team that defended him. In the past, Foldcury he made only for people who support him. As time went on, Krishan ended up making them useful as rental bodyguards. Unmitigated, Krishan's bodyguards were even sent out of the country to oversee major events there. Those are the people who were loyal to Krishan even when the man fell.
Upon arrival there, I even gaped to see the large and magnificent building. Foldcury's writing is big on there. Why is this even bigger than Shinprise?? Thought surprised.
"Krish, why is this so big?" I asked as I walked inside.
"Because this is the headquarters of the bodyguard, baby. Plenty of rooms, tools and training ground inside."
Krishan's explanation made me nod let alone us passing through a very large swimming pool. Inside were some students practicing. But strangely, his hands and feet were tied and he was thrown into the pool. I stopped watching that.
"Jia, what's wrong?" Krishan turned back when he realized I wasn't there.
"Krish, the boy was tied up with his hands and feet. How can he swim??" I wonder. I think it's torture, don't I?
Krishan was watching.
"Krish, shouldn't you tell him it's torture?"
Chris pointed towards the pool. Eyes followed. The boy appeared with feet and hands that had been torn off from the ties.
"You take it easy, honey. They were taught by the right people."
Krishan took my hand and pulled me to walk. My eyes caught one enclosed space but I knew it was the firing room because it saw the sign above and also the sound of gunfire.
Then my steps stopped again when I saw someone standing with an apple on his head and another man standing not far from him, aiming at a weapon.
"Jeez, Krish.."
"Jia, everyone's trained."
Uh. Is correct. It's just that I'm not used to it and for me it's terrible.
"You want to take a look, honey? I need to get to the woman's room. If you're still at home, Sean will be with you." I didn't answer and just noticed the scared face of the child on whose head was a red apple.
DOR'S!
I flinched until I closed my eyes. Then I saw the apple break over his head. Thank goodness he survived.
I walked again and Sean followed me from behind.
"Sean, what's training?" I asked while pointing at a field that was like a basketball court to me.
"That's just kids playing regular basketball, miss."
Oh, I think there's a special exercise too.
"How many members are there?" Askaqua.
"About 500 people, Miss."
"Ah, a lot too, yeah."
"Used to be more, Miss. Nearly a thousand people. But many run away after the blind master."
Did ya? Poor, Krishan. He must have been really hit first.
Sean's words made me look at him.
"Mr Yohan took the abandoned children and educated them here so that they would have strength out there. If they are able to take care of themselves and make money, they can go out. But rarely does anyone come out. More to serve Mr. Yohan."
Well, I'm stunned. So that means, about 500 of these people were helped by Krishan?
"Master said, he used to be tossed around before he finally fainted right in front of the orphanage. Until he's treated there."
This heartwarming story, I didn't hear it from Krishan. I think he was born in an orphanage. Apparently not.
"Foldcury is one of the branch children that Mr. Yohan did not take advantage of. He left it to the one who managed this so he could pay everyone in it."
I nodded while listening to all the words of Sean who would know better.
"Then, did Krishan ever come to his orphanage?" Askaqua.
"Yes, but the house is no longer a home. Who's dead and whose family made it their home."
"Oh, yeah. Then, you?" I suddenly wondered about Sean. Because Krishan just pointed it out as the person he trusted the most.
"I'm the first to follow Mr. Yohan."
We walked towards Krishan's place while continuing to tell stories.
"I met him while being a little beggar in the middle of the city. Meeting him is one of the things I am most grateful for. Until he taught me how to survive and finally I followed him."
"So, you're a witness to Krishan's life?"
Sean smiled. For the first time I saw that smile was blotted out and it looked sincere.
"Not really. There's Mr. Daniel and Mr. David who's at home with him. I only met when Mr. Yohan had started working at the diner of his foster parents."
Hm, so it seems. Ah, there's one I'd love to know.
"Seans. What's Krishan's long name?"
Sean looked frowned. "If Miss doesn't know, it means I don't have the right to tell her."
"What's? Come, Sean. I've been forgetting that all along. You know, our lives weren't always smooth."
Sean seemed to think for a moment. "Why didn't Miss ask?"
"I want to tell him something. Hurry up, tell me. He's not gonna be mad about that, is he?" Ask me again and Sean nodded.
"He's Krishan Harcourt."
Stalled steps. "Harcourt's.." Ah, Krishan's name fits him perfectly. Harcourt, is a strong defense. My husband is a very strong man. Why did Chris never wear it? Is it because in this country, the name of the extension is not so needed?
"I told you, Krish. I love you and I know you cheated that woman, right?"
My eyes immediately caught a woman sitting on a chair with her hands tied, while Krishan sat in front of her with his hands crossed over his chest.
"Just be honest with her, that you fucked me after your eyes healed. You're drunk and I'm still very aware of that. You know too but you covered it up!" Screeched Sherly with protruding neck veins, as if wanting everyone to hear her chatter. I looked at her with a confused look because when viewed from the water her face, Sherly was like telling the truth. Then, should I believe it? But Sherly is a master con.
"Get me talk!" Tukas Krishan's.
"Basar women don't know themselves! I fought from the beginning with Krishan! You're just robbing me of what's rightfully mine!" Sherly's eyes were sharp towards me, until Krishan was surprised to see me standing at the door.
