Marrying the Enemy
David's Desire

Two days later.

Shazia and David were in the room to pick out some important items they would bring on their honeymoon later. While occasionally looking at her phone, Shazia kept looking at the face of David who looked very busy.

"Why does his facial expression look weird? What exactly was he thinking?" shazia murmured before returning to pick the item she wanted to carry.

They're not just the two of them. There were many female servants who would help them tidy up those important items. One of them is Eva. The woman sat near Shazia while checking the items Shazia needed during the trip.

"Miss, it's all done" Eva said with a smile. This honeymoon moment is not just a happy moment for Shazia and David. The whole house was so happy to hear that even everyone prayed that when Shazia returned he would bring David junior in his womb.

"Thank you, Eva. Can you leave us both. There's something I want to talk to David about" Shazia whispered so David wouldn't listen.

Eva nodded slowly. He took all the servants in the room to get out. Even when the room was quiet again David was no longer conscious. The man was too busy with the laptop screen in front of him to not pay attention to the circumstances around.

Shazia sighed and walked over to David. The woman glanced at David's laptop screen before sitting on his lap without excuse.

"It was so busy that I was not cared for," Shazia whined spoiled.

David rubbed Shazia's back. He immediately closed his laptop and gave all his attention to Shazia.

"I'm sorry." David looked at the place where the servants were gathered. His eyebrows clutched together when he realized that his room was already quiet. "Where are they?"

"You mean the waiter who helped me?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Shazia sighed. "They're done with their job. So now it's gone."

David closed his eyes for a moment. He realized that he had ignored Shazia long enough because it was too focused on the screen of his laptop

"I'm sorry. It's about Logan" David said honestly.

"Actually what he does does does not harm us at all. I feel like he has betrayed Devid" replied David slowly. It is clear that the man is now very worried about his twin brother even though Devid is famous for his greedy nature.

"Isn't that good?" answer Shazia just origin. Shazia dropped her head on David's field chest before continuing her sentence. "He has betrayed you and now his confidants have betrayed him. It's called the law of karma!"

"Yes, I should be happy to hear that. But I don't know why I feel sorry. I couldn't bear to see him being treated like this in a moment of helplessness" David said before landing a sweet kiss on the top of Shazia's head.

"Then, what do you want to do? I will support every decision you make, David," Shazia said resignedly. She didn't want her husband to have that burden on her mind.

"I want to bring Devid to this house. I want to take care of him until he recovers!"

Shazia immediately distanced her face. He looked at David's face with a look of disbelief. David who understood Shazia's gaze could only sigh.

"That's also if you agree. You're my wife. The lady of this house. All the house rules I've handed to you. I don't want to make a unilateral decision. Without your consent, nothing will happen" David said.

"On that, I have to think about it first." Shazia turned her face away. "Even seeing your face sometimes I remember Devid's crimes. He killed Nora and Mya. Two women I love very much. It seems like it would be very heavy if I had to look him in the face every day even every time."

David pulls Shazia's body into an embrace. "Honey, I won't force you to accept Devid in this house. Maybe I'll make you a place to live far away from here. Provide strict guard so that he does not see Logan again," said David carefully.

Shazia. "If you want to protect Devid, that man should stay with us. As far as any and as tight a guard as you give, Logan will still be able to meet Devid. He's a pretty smart guy!"

David was silent. Actually what Shazia said he had thought before. "Then, what should I do? Did I just let her life suffer like it is now?"

Shazia is back. This time the decision he had to make was very difficult. He must forgive and accept his enemy even though clearly his enemy has never apologized to him.

But, Shazia also thought about David's feelings. He knew the bond between the twin brothers was very strong. At a time like this, David must not have the heart and feel sorry for Devid.

"I need time" said Shazia slowly.

"I won't force. Now let's take a shower. Soon we'll be leaving for the airport, "please take David. They both walked to the bathroom to clean themselves up. For a moment they will forget all about Devid and focus more on their own happiness right now.
