Marrying the Enemy
Eva's Request

Eva just arrived at the hospital. His face looked extremely panicked as he ran inside. It's still up ahead Eva's met with Leah. The woman immediately approached Leah who was sitting alone in a chair.

"Leah, what about Miss Shazia? What the hell's going on? Why is Miss Shazia hurt?" asked Eva quickly without caring if Leah's mood was bad.

"All this happened because of Mr David!" leah was not excited.

"Mr David? What has David done?" ask Eva again to know.

Leah got up from the chair and looked at Eva's face. "Logan wants to kidnap you. What'd that guy want to kidnap you for?" ask Leah change.

Hearing Leah's question, it obviously confused Eva. Eva never had any problems with Logan. He had never disturbed the man's life all this time. Logan is more often looking for trouble for himself.

"I don't know" Eva replied as she was.

Leah folded both her hands. "Did she know that you and Devid are married?"

Eva was silent for a moment. "If Devid never told her he shouldn't have known. I've kept all of this a secret from everyone all along."

"No. I'm sure he knows that he wants to kidnap you. There must have been a scheming gang plan he had planned!" ketus Leah while turning her face. "But now we need to talk about that man again because he is no longer on this earth. Until he never shows up in front of us again." There was a sense of satisfaction on Leah's face when she recalled that Logan had died. Even the man died at his hands.

"What do you mean?"

Leah held Eva's hand. "You're stupid or you're pretending to be stupid. I mean, he's dead!" Leah walked to the elevator and took Eva by force. "Aren't you here to see how Boss Shazia is doing. Come on. I'll take you to the room where Boss Shazia is being treated. Doctors have not allowed anyone to enter. Don't know now."

Inside the room, David looked at Shazia's face with regret. If time could be turned back, maybe David would not prevent anything Shazia wanted to do. He would choose to stay where he was while watching the sadistic torture carried out by Shazia. However, it was all too late Rice had already become porridge. Now all David can do is pray that the wife will open her eyes immediately.

"I'm a useless husband, Shazia. I'm sorry." For the umpteenth time the same sentence is spoken again. It felt like there was no sense of boredom for David to say his regret in front of Shazia. He needs sorry sanga wife. He wanted his wife to open her eyes and smile sweetly.

Door opens. Eva and Leah showed up there. Still with the same look. Leah looked at David like an enemy. He would not forgive the man before Shazia opened her eyes again.

Leah twisted her body and decided to leave from there. Actually he himself wanted to cry to see Shazia who did not come to his senses. However, all this time Leah was educated to be a tough woman who is not crybaby. He did not want to shed his tears and show his weak side. Even though he really wants to do it right now.

"How did you get here? You left Devid alone at home?" ask David to Eva.

"I'm sorry, sir. I was forced to leave Devid at home because I was very worried about Miss Shazia's situation," Eva replied before putting Shazia's hand back on the bed.

"Is Devid still the same? Has he shown any signs of waking up yet?"

Eva shook her head slowly. "He's like a sleeping man. His face looked calm and did not know when he would wake up. Maybe this is the karma he must accept for his past actions, sir."

"He's a good guy. However, because since childhood he always felt defeated and rivaled, so he turned into a bad man. Eva, I wish you so much that you can change Devid's nature to be the good guy he was." David looked at Shazia's face. "Sometimes I think. What Devid will do when he regains consciousness. Is it possible that he will become a grudge against Shazia. Or he's been changing and realizing his mistake all along."

"Sir, there's actually something important that I wanted to say since yesterday to you and Miss Shazia. But I didn't find the right time. It seems like now is the right time even though Miss Shazia cannot respond to what I said," Eva said with an earnest facial expression.

"What do you want Eva to say?" david asked, serious and curious.

"Master. If I may ask. I want to get out of your house with Devid. I want to go back to my hometown. The place where we first met. I will take care of Devid as best I can until he comes to his senses. I know that Miss Shazia has been very reluctant about Devid at home. I also know that every time I see Devid, Miss Shazia remembers Nora's suffering. For that I would like to leave that house with Devid, sir."

"You sure?" ask David again.

"I'm sure, Sir. Actually last night I was a little hesitant because there was still Logan hanging around and would definitely disturb our calm. But, after I heard from Leah that Logan was dead. I am more convinced by my decision."

"Eva I don't have to do anything right now. But, if you're more comfortable living in that place. I'll take care of everything. Eva, promise me. If Devid ever opens his eyes again, tell him I always thought of him as a brother. I never meant to hurt her, what else made her suffer."

Eva nodded quickly. "I will always remember the message you said, Sir." Eva looked back at Shazia's face. "I hope that Miss Shazia will wake up soon and be able to gather in that house again. Sir, if you'll excuse me. Thank you for the permission you gave me."

David nodded before looking back at Shazia. The man did not want to linger turning his gaze the other way. Only Shazia's face could be in her sight.

"Dear, wakeup. Ii'm sorry. If you want to be angry I'm ready to hear that anger. But, awake. I'm so scared."
