Marrying the Enemy

Since that incident, Devid and Eva have disappeared. Shazia repeatedly tries to contact Eva but the woman does not want to pick up the phone from Shazia. Now Shazia and David are home. It's been a month since Scarlett died. Shazia was very worried about Eva. Even though he knows Eva is now with a man who can definitely protect her.

"Darling, did you call Eva back?" whispered David who suddenly appeared and hugged Shazia from behind.

"I'm very worried about him. At least he gave me news. It has been a month that she has disappeared" Shazia replied. He put his phone down with a disappointed face.

"Let's come with me downstairs. Someone wants to meet you," David asked with a smile. Don't forget the man landed a kiss on Shazia's right cheek.

"Who?" ask Shazia. "What is Eva? Did Eva come to this house?"

David scrunched his forehead. "Look at yourself" replied David.

"Let's get down. I was very curious about my guest today. Let's hope my guest is really Eva" Shazia said expectantly. She took her husband by the hand and took him out of the room.

Downstairs, Eva clasps Devid's hand with a heartbeat. There was actually guilt in his heart for having disappeared for a month and not giving any news to Shazia.

But, how else. All this is Devid's request. The man took Eva away somewhere to contemplate himself. Ever since he regained consciousness from the coma, Devid has never had the intention to truly repent. There was even a sense of vengeance in his heart. But today he came with a big heart. There was already no resentment or envy in her heart thanks to Eva's persuasion and sincerity. With his wife, Devid wants to have a good relationship with David and Shazia.

"Darling, I don't want you to make trouble later. You really want to apologize to Mr. David and Miss Shazia, don't you?" ask Eva to go back to ensure her husband's seriousness.

"Yes, Honey. That's also if they're gonna forgive me. Wasn't my mistake fatal. I'm a bad man" Devid replied with a guilty face.

"There's still a chance to change for the better. As long as you want to admit your mistake and not repeat it again" Eva said with a smile.

Devid returned Eva's smile. He rubbed Eva's cheek gently and affectionately. "Thank you, Honey. You are my reason for changing for the better. Without you I might return to being a bad man filled with vengeance."

Not long after, Shazia and David had already appeared there. With a beautiful fluffy smile Shazia ran over impatiently wanting to hug Eva.

"Geev!"

Shazia's shout made Eva turn her eyes away. He immediately got up from the sofa and looked at Shazia's face with a smile.

"Miss, how are you?" ask Eva gently.

The two women hugged each other. Eva is like a sister to Shazia. Since Nora's departure, Eva's presence makes Shazia feel like she still has a sister.

"Eva, where have you been all this time? Why did you disappear? Are you avoiding me? What mistake did I make that you chose to avoid me?" shazia protests are upset.

"I'm sorry, Miss."

For a while Shazia decided not to discuss Eva's disappearance all along. Shazia wanted to let go of the longing by hugging Eva like that.

David looked at Devid and smiled amiably. Although he had made a very fatal mistake, there was still no grudge in David's heart. Instead, the man was very happy when he saw Devid was alive and healthy.

"I'm sorry" said Devid suddenly. The man's sorry expression made Shazia's embrace come off. The woman looked at Devid's face with a look of disbelief.

"I'm sorry?" david did not believe it. This whole life was the first time Devid had ever apologized to himself. Even from Devid's eyes, he could tell that the man sincerely regretted his mistake.

"No. Don't be like that. We better forget what happened. Let what passes be a lesson" replied David with a happy face.

Devid looked at Shazia. "Shazia, I'm sorry. I've made you lose two people you love. If I were in your position, maybe I would do the same. Revenge to vent the pain felt by those I love."

"I can't forgive you because your mistakes have been so fatal. But ... I can accept you as my husband's brother. At least that way, I won't know you as Devid the murderer. But Devid as my brother-in-law," Shazia replied with a smile.

"Aren't you angry with me anymore?" ask Devid to go back to making sure.

"I was going to take his life. It's just that I've felt a sense of loss. It was so painful that it made my spirit disappear." Shazia looked at Eva's face. "I don't want Eva to feel that way. Eva was like a brother to me. I don't want to see him sad" Shazia continued.

"Miss, you really are a good woman. Thank you for forgiving my husband, Miss," Eva said, holding Shazia's hands.

"Are we not family? I'm happy to have a brother like you Eva" Shazia replied. They embrace back.

David walked over to Devid. The man raised his hand and embraced Devid like a brother. Devid himself returned David's embrace. The two men looked very familiar like twins in general.

"A beautiful view, right? Papa and mama must be happy to see us like this" David said with a radiant face.

"Yes. It's time we made them proud. All this time I've been disappointed. If they're still alive, maybe I've been kicked out of the house" replied Devid.

Shazia and Eva smiled happily. The scenery in front of them was so beautiful that Eva did not want to forget the sweet moment for the rest of her life.

Although the misunderstanding has managed to get the solution, but still their lives as former criminals can always be calm. There are still many out there who want to repay their deeds in the past. Especially the enemy for Shazia or Devid. But now they have become a family. Uniting against the enemy is easy for them.
