Marrying Two Widows

Marrying Two Widows
I Was The Same Too

Gista attends Alifa's birthday party. He chained Mba Siti to go to the show. Alifa's birthday event was held at the Darmawan family mansion. The show was pretty good. Gista was about to look for Alifa but from behind someone nudged the wheelchair until he fell to the floor.

Bluuuug.........

"Aw.

"Sorry by accident, I think this party is for healthy people, it turns out that paralyzed people are also in this party" Keke said.

Keke Hira's sister Nathan's dead wife. He likes Nathan even trying to get him. He knew Gista from Alifa who often told of his new teacher who was so dear to Alifa.

"Gista" said Nathan.

Nathan approaches Gista and carries him back to his wheelchair.

"You okay Gista?" ask Nathan.

"No" said Gista briefly.

"Sister Nathan, why the hell should care about him. After all who told paralyzed people to come to events like this" Keke said.

"Alifa invited Gista, so she's my guest" Nathan said.

"But brother" said Keke.

"Keke if you mind please leave this place" Nathan said.

"Don't......" Keke was upset and left the place.

Nathan pushes Gista's wheelchair over the edge.

"Nathan I'm sorry I embarrassed you for that" Gista said.

"Gista you're not wrong, Keke is like that, sorry" Nathan said.

"Yes, Oya Alifa where I want to meet him" said Gista.

"He's in his room getting ready" Nathan said.

"Then I wait here" said Gista.

Nathan pushes Gista's wheelchair towards an elevator. They got into the elevator. Nathan said nothing, he was holding the handle of Gista's wheelchair.

"Nathan, where are we going?" ask Gista.

"To Alifa's room" Nathan said.

"Oh.., your house has an elevator" said Gista.

"That's because I used to be paralyzed like you" Nathan said.

Gista was immediately stunned to hear Nathan's words. The handsome man was once paralyzed. But he is now back to normal.

"How's the story going you're paralyzed?" ask Gista.

"When I was young I was in a motorcycle accident until I was paralyzed for years. But

I met my wife Hira, she was the one who was so patient in taking care of me that I recovered" Nathan said.

"It is fitting that this man so lost his dead wife, apparently because his wife had been patient in taking care of him" said Gista.

The elevator door was open. Nathan pushes Gista's wheelchair towards Alifa's room. They both went into the room. Alifa was sleeping in bed. Nathan walked over to Alifa.

"Alifa why baby?" nathan asked worried about Alifa.

"Head of Alifa is very dizzy Papa" said Alifa.

Nathan immediately embraces Alifa in his arms. Alifa looked in pain with her head. Gista pushed the wheel of his wheelchair towards the two of them.

"Nathan Alifa why?" ask Gista.

"Alifa said her head was dizzy" Nathan said.

Gista tried to touch Alifa's forehead. Turns out his forehead is hot. Gista thinks Alifa may have a fever.

"Nathan, is there a thermometer?" ask Gista.

"There" said Nathan.

Nathan laid Alifa in bed. Then he took a thermometer in a small closet near Alifa's bed. He gave the thermometer to Gista.

"What are you gonna do?" ask Nathan.

"Measuring his body temperature" Gista said.

Gista measured Alifa's body temperature using that thermometer. He looked at the degree of centigrade that was on that thermometer.

"Alifa had to be taken to the hospital" Nathan said.

"Wait, any heat-lowering drugs?" ask Gista.

"There" said Nathan.

Nathan took the heat-lowering drug. He gave it to Gista. Then Gista gave Alifa the heat-lowering drug. Shortly after, Alifa fell asleep after taking the medicine. Nathan covers Alifa.

"Gista thank you" Nathan said.

"Yes together" said Gista.

"Semenjak Hira is not with us. Alfie is often sick. She misses her mother so much. Every time his friend told him about his mother, Alifa must be sad. He wants to see Hira" Nathan said.

"I can understand what Alifa is feeling, she is still a child, still needs a mother figure who takes care of her and loves her" said Gista.

"I'm useless as a father, I can't make Alifa as happy as when there was Hira" Nathan said.

"Alifa is not unhappy. But she needs time to accept that her mother is gone. He has not been able to accept all these circumstances because he was a child" Gista said.

Nathan shed tears watching his little daughter miss his mother. He did nothing to make Alifa happy again.

"Nathan I'm downstairs yeah" said Gista.

"OK, I'll catch up" Nathan said.

Gista just wanted to shift the wheel of his wheelchair, Alifa's hand held Gista's hand.

"Alifa wants to be accompanied by a teacher" said Alifa.

Gista looked towards Alifa. The little boy needs him now.

"Gista let me get out, please accompany Alifa for a moment" Nathan said.

"All right" said Gista.

Nathan came out of Alifa's room. While Gista accompanied Alifa by reading him a fairy tale.

"Bu teacher bobo here is the same Alifa" said Alifa.

Gista was surprised by Alifa's words. The little boy really misses his mother until he needs Gista.

Gista stroked Alifa's head.

"Now Alifa bobo first yes, the teacher is here to accompany Alifa" said Gista.

Alifa nodded. Then he started to fall asleep. Gista enveloped Alifa. He was so happy to be able to chat with Alifa.

"Maybe it's like having a child" said Gista.

Gista also missed a time when she could take care of a child. Ever since he was declared barren Gista lonely. She was always sad when she saw someone else have a child. It's not that she can't accept her circumstances but that she wants to feel like a mother. Gista out of the room. He saw Nathan standing outside the door.

"Alifa is sleeping soundly" said Gista.

"I'm sorry to bother you" Nathan said.

"No, I'm very happy to be with Alifa" Gista said.

"He always told me about you, thank you for all your kindness to Alifa" Nathan said.

Gista nodded with a smile.

"Let me drive you down" Nathan said.

"OK" said Gista.

Nathan pushes Gista's wheelchair towards the elevator. They went back downstairs. The anniversary event continued without Alifa. After the birthday party was over, Gista approached Nathan.

"May I ask?" ask Gista.

"Please" said Nathan.

"Where's your family? didn't they attend Alifa's birthday?" ask Gista.

Gista was curious about such a big house. Nathan should have stayed with his family. If not, they should be present at Alifa's birthday event. Alifa was Nathan's first child.

"Come with me, we'll talk somewhere else" Nathan said.

"OK" said Gista.

Nathan pushes Gista's wheelchair towards the back porch of the house. There is quiet no one who will eavesdrop or hear the conversation of the two of them.
