MARVEL: GAME MAKER SYSTEMS
99 – Proposed Twtich

Alex is aware of the changes Fortnite is bringing to the world, and he already has plans to also accept other companies to create content for Oasis, making versions available to others to develop club-like content, bars, restaurants, clothing stores and much more. This type of virtual company, the world of Oasis can begin to grow and develop organically without him needing to dedicate his time to it.

Alex's goal was not to think of every little detail he could get from the player, or to think of every new store that would appear in the Oasis that week, no, what Alex wants to do is develop games for people, so far as entertainment development in Oasis, Alex will hand them over to other companies and only receive a percentage of everyone's revenue output.

"Let Your Money Work for You." Alex said with a smile as he decided what percentage he would receive from the company that wanted to join Oasis.

Of course, Alex only intends to relinquish access to Oasis to other companies when Oasis becomes a true hub and is eventually cut off from Fortnite, for now he will be the only one of these providers and will be the only one to receive a profit as well, but that does not stop Alex from paving the way for the company to contact Mojang.

Of course, instead of using email like other companies do, Alex set up Mojang headquarters in Oasis and assigned several NPCs to act as receptionists for technical support for the players.

Alex envisioned the area as a large Apple Store, but with a more luxurious look that remains player-friendly.

People who have doubts or suggestions can talk to NPCs who can help players or write down suggestions for Alex, so filter out all the useless ones so Alex doesn't have to worry about it.

In order to facilitate this, he even made sure that the NPC manager at Mojang HQ had his contacts, so that he could contact Alex when something important happened, and to Alex's surprise, soon something happened.

"Mr Notch, a man claiming to be President Twitch is here and wants to meet you." The quiet voice of the store manager that Alex projected sounded through the communicator.

Alex raised an eyebrow at that moment, interested in him answering. "Okay, tell them I'll be there in 5 minutes."

After answering that, Alex finished configuring some of the things he found interesting in the advice the player left before moving himself to Mojang headquarters while taking the form of Notch.

He had set up an office on the top floor of Mojang's headquarters building, just in case he needed it, so this was where he teleported.

Initially he intended to receive guests here at the office, but he wanted to know how the company accepted and decided to get down and meet in person with Twitch representatives.

As the elevator doors opened, Notch saw at least 150 players talking to the NPCs wearing Mojang red robes.

Most of the players chatted quite kindly with the NPCs, as Alex had formed a pretty good personality for them. Perhaps many were not even aware that they were talking to an NPC.

Looking around, he saw the manager talking to a man in his 30s with an excited expression.

As Notch walked towards them, other players noticed Notch and began recording and taking pictures using the game's virtual camera, intending to show it to friends and family. Thankfully, no one tried to get close.

Notch just smiled looking at the man's attitude.

The player, by the name of [EShear] extended his hand to Notch and said. "Hello Mr. Notch, nice to finally meet you, my name is Emmett Shear."

Notch continued to smile and replied, "It's nice to meet you, Emmett. How did you find Oasis?"

Emmett heard this and looked around in wonder. "Persis as the name suggests, the real Oasis, a place where even the poorest people from third world countries can have fun with friends for cheap, or even without spending a penny. You're a genius!"

"There's no need for 'Master', Emmett, just 'Notch." Notch waved his hand. "But I'm happy with your assessment, I think Oasis still have a lot to show the world.

Emmett did not think twice and nodded, completely agreeing with what Notch said, from the little he saw, he was already fascinated, imagine what was still lurking in the mind of this mysterious man.

Thinking about it, Emmett immediately recalled why he had come. "Si– Notch, I'm sure you have a good impression of Twitch?" He asked a little nervously.

Notch nodded and agreed. "Of all streaming platforms, I believe Twitch is the best for Gamers, although there is still plenty of room for improvement."

Hearing that, Emmett got even more excited and continued. "Yes, yes, I know very well how much Twitch can still increase, before the launch of Minecraft, our average audience didn't reach 5 million every day, whereas with the launch of Minecraft, it was, this average increased to nearly 100 million! I'm sure if it wasn't for Mojang's help in this case, maybe our server wouldn't be able to support even 10% of that amount."

Notch listened in silence, trying to understand why Emmett had said his words.

Emmett also didn't stop and got straight to the point. "So I want to give you a proposition, how about I sell you 50% of Twitch for the symbolic $1, so you can continue to use Twitch as the official Mojang platform without worrying about anything else, besides still being able to receive the profits generated by it!"

Notch raised an eyebrow at that moment. Twitch is a company already worth almost $1 billion, selling 50% of that company for $1 equals handing over $500 million to him for free.

But thinking about the valuation he made for Twitch, if he changes companies in the future, it would be disastrous for the company, so Emmett might assume that it's better to have a big piece of cake, he said, instead of holding a small cake to eat on your own.

Thinking about the project he had in mind, especially in the field of E-Sports, Alex was very interested in this proposal. Especially with how cheap it is to buy a server on the System, it can support Twitch without a hitch, and even develop Twitch into a video platform like YouTube, he said, but without the cost that Google has on the server to store so many videos.

With a smile on his face, Alex extended his hand as he replied. "With an offer as good as that, I would be very foolish to turn it down. How about we meet in person at Twitch headquarters to sign this deal?"

Hearing this, Emmett began to smile even more, excited for the future Twitch would have, and largely curious about what Notch would look like in real life!
