Mistake (A Mistake Can Bring Love)
Preparing for Dinner

Lunch time arrives. Aluna did not come to the hotel where she used to have lunch with Kalun. She had asked her husband for permission, if she wanted to eat meatballs with Renata, and exchanged stories, considering that she had not met her best friend for a long time. And Kalun only replied with a short message, if he agreed to Aluna's request.

All day long Aluna felt guilty for her attitude towards Kalun, her mind was not calm. Especially with his attitude that did not come to lunch with Kalun, making him feel like a bad wife. Aluna kept thinking about her attitude until her working hours ended. He wanted to go home soon, and prepare a special dinner for Kalun.

Arriving at the apartment, Aluna immediately struggled in the kitchen, without changing her clothes first, tying her hair high showing her neck that was not too long. Aluna cooks a variety of food menus that she knows Kalun likes.

Nearly two hours later Aluna prepared for dinner. The food is now neatly arranged with a candle that he deliberately has not lit. He looked towards the clock on the wall that was already showing at 7 p.m. He rushed towards his room, to clean up his body, at least when Kalun arrived, he was not as cute right now.

Aluna's gaze continued to point to the mobile screen, waiting for a reply from Kalun, empty, because she did not immediately see a reply from her husband. The cartoon film that was played was no longer noticed. After a long wait for the sound of incoming messages to sound loud from his phone, he was happy when he saw the name Kalun listed on his phone screen.

Short and meaningful. Aluna's face looked sad after reading Kalun's reply, she decided to keep waiting for Kalun to have dinner together, ignoring her sore stomach and letting the food she had cooked cool by itself.

On the other side. Kalun was still focused on his work, he had to finish the documents on his desk today as well. It was wrong he also returned to the office too late in the afternoon, so was forced to make it overtime until he could finish it.

Kalun smiled faintly as he read the message from Aluna. However, he did not return the favor, letting his wife wait for her reply first, and he would answer.

Until 9 p.m., Kalun came out of his room. The atmosphere was quiet, no one else was there. Doni has been asking him to come home since this afternoon, considering only he can finish it.

Kalun immediately walked to the car that had been prepared in front of the door of his office building. He walked leisurely, putting his hand in his pants pocket.

“Call!” Call Kayra who is waiting for Kalun in the lobby waiting room.

Kalun stopped his steps. But still reluctant to turn his head towards the woman who was walking closer towards him. He recognized Kayra's voice. It had been decades they were together, so he was already used to Kayra's voice when calling out to her.

Kalun immediately released Kayra's rough hand. He turned to face his former fiancee. He looked at her with hatred, as if there had never been any love between them.

“Kal. Where's promise? You're the one who's always gonna protect me? You too will be by my side until we are old, until we die!” kayra shouted with a stare towards Kalun.

“Is that how you turn? Just for the sake of the woman you don't love!”

“Stop Key!” bentak Kalun's. Making Kayra flinch, Kalun just this time snapped at her directly, only to defend the woman he married.

“I love him. You start not knowing yourself! Last time, I warned you again, don't disturb my family!” recalling Kalun with emotion, he then quickly walked away leaving the teary-eyed Kayra behind him.

“Kal. I'm sick! My time is not much, can you be beside me, until I leave this world!” kayra shouted so that Kalun would listen to her words.

Kalun stopped his steps again and turned around without approaching Kayra. Luckily the lobby atmosphere was quiet. There were only the building guards now outside waiting for Kalun.

“Begging the man who impregnated you, I touched you, by mistake, which I will regret for the rest of my life!” kalun said then immediately left the EL Group building.

When he was in the car his mind was not calm about Kayra's words. But he also could not accompany her anymore, her hatred was now greater than her compassion. The shadow of his time together flashed. Kalun used to love Kayra, so he didn't want anything to happen with Kayra. She's the one who's always spoiling Kayra, the one who understands what Kayra wants. But after finding out if Kayra was having an affair, the feeling went away by itself turning 180 degrees. She hated him, especially after finding out that Aluna was in an accident because of Kayra's father. The hatred was getting ingrained, for him there was no apology for the traitor.

Arriving at Kalun's apartment immediately pressed the password for his apartment door. The sound of an open door is heard, he circulates his gaze towards the lights that are still on, the television screen also displays a cartoon film that is showing the happy ending of the end of the story. Kalun shook his head when he saw Aluna sleeping on the fur carpet in front of the television, without a pillow, using only her bent hands instead of pillows.

Kalun put his bag on the sofa. Closer to Aluna, he poked his index finger on Aluna's cheek. He likes to tease his wife when she is asleep. Remembering Aluna is difficult to wake up if you are asleep.

“Sayang. You wait for Aa' to come home, huh? Because of you too, I have to overtime until this late,” murmured Kalun who is still smacking Aluna cheeks. He then took Aluna to her room, carrying her like a newlywed, which surely only Kalun knew what she had in mind.

“If you don't think so, I work overtime, so I can sleep with you every night!” he said while putting Aluna's body in her bedroom. He walked to the bathroom to clean his body.

After finishing his bath, Kalun immediately followed where Aluna was asleep, he placed his head on Aluna's shoulders as he wrapped his arms tightly around her flat stomach.

“Let's sleep, because tomorrow there will be a surprise for you!” he muttered while smiling cunningly. Kalun also confirmed his position, looking for the most comfortable position in order to sleep soundly with Aluna. Hope the sun does not appear soon, because he misses this moment very much.
