"But why would he know I'm a member of the Flying Horse gang? No one in my family knew" asked Boy.
"My commander has good luck next to him" said Jake. And the luck that Jake is referring to is Amanda with a special talent that Amanda has
Barnes goes back inside and is attacked by Amanda. Amanda's aunt hit Barnes' chest repeatedly with a shout, "You're bringing havoc to my family! Fuckin' shit!"
Amanda immediately pulled his wife, grabbed her and said sorry to Barnes.
"What are you apologizing for, he's the unlucky bearer of this family!" Amanda's aunt thrashed in her husband's arms.
Barnes smiled faintly and said, "The disaster comes to a person because of the carelessness and stupidity of the person himself. So don't blame anyone else, ma'am! Catch that!" Barnes then grabbed Amanda by the shoulder and stepped inside the house casually.
Laura shuddered in horror at the bravery and decisiveness shown by Barnes so subconsciously she lowered her face as Barnes stepped past her.
His aunt Amanda squirms on the grass and roars, weeping over the unfortunate fate of her beloved sister.
Evening has arrived. Barnes breaks into Amanda's room after she and Amanda have dinner outside. After Boy's arrest, Barnes decided to take Amanda to dinner outside and after dinner, they went straight into Amanda's room.
Amanda stared at the single and small bed she had slept in since she was a child. Then Amanda turned to Barnes, "You just sleep in the bed. I'll sleep on the floor with a blanket on"
Barnes leaned in Amanda's arms and laid Amanda down on the bed, "You sleep in the bed. I'll sleep on the floor"
Barnes was about to get up and Amanda immediately restrained Barnes' arm, "We just moved to the guest room. Aunty has also tidied up the guest room. The guest room is wider and the bed is larger than this bed"
Barnes tidied Amanda's hair and said, "I want to feel the sleep in this room. I want to feel the same way you felt during your stay in this room" Barnes said.
"But you sleep on the floor? You can get sick and you're not used to sleeping on the floor?"
Barnes smiled broadly, "You forgot that your husband is a policeman, a special forces soldier who often serves in the field. I often sleep in just about any place. On the floor, on the ground, in the cattle pen, sleeping wherever I've been so, don't worry about me!"
Amanda wakes up, cross-legged on the bed and says, "How about we put the bed on the floor? We both slept with this bed. Yeeaaahh even though our feet will be on the floor but lightening right?"
"Do you want to sleep with me?" ask Barnes.
Amanda's face immediately flushed red and she patted Barnes on the shoulder, "It's not so! I just don't want you to sleep on the floor while I'm good at sleeping on the bed"
"okay! just as you requested, Mrs Barnes" Barnes chuckled in amusement and then he lowered the mattress and put the mattress on the floor. Then he and Amanda slept on the bed with a roll. Their feet are on the floor.
Barnes then pulled Amanda's legs together and she put Amanda's feet on her thighs, "Put your feet here, use me to roll you also do not papa. The floor is cold, I don't want your feet to be cold"
Amanda was about to pull her leg but, being held back by Barnes. Barnes said, "So your husband or husband will punish you again like last night"
Amanda shut up and said, "Thank you"
Barnes smiled at Amanda.
"Tell Amanda in childhood. You said Amanda Dirgantara was your childhood friend"
"You sure you want to hear it? You're not going to be in shock?"
"Because, Amanda in childhood was very different from Amanda in front of me right now" Barnes said, tilting her body and narrowing Amanda's legs.
Amanda chuckled amusedly, "That makes me even more curious. Tell me!"
"Okay" Barnes smiled and then started to tell me, "Amanda my childhood friend is a sweet, pretty, gentle girl. He had black, straight hair. He's friendly, nice but, he's sloppy. He always protected me and always saved me without hesitation. He was gentle, whiny, careless, and yet, very tough"
Amanda reddened her face and smiled, "Is little Amanda really that great? You're not making this up, are you?"
Barnes rubbed Amanda's hair, "Where did I make up stories about friends in my childhood"
Amanda smile.
Barnes smiled and said again, "There was one thing that was very happy for me at that time"
"What?" ask Amanda.
"Amanda Dirgantara, my childhood friend, once scored 40 in Mathematics. He's good at everything except math"
Amanda was embarrassed and spontaneously slipped her face into Barnes' chest. Barnes chuckled amusedly and grabbed Amanda by the body and continued his story, "Then I taught her after school and the next day, she scored a hundred. He bought me ice cream in the school cafeteria and said, You're the greatest Barnes. Thanks to your guidance, my Math score got a hundred today. Thank ye. Then he stood on his tiptoes and kissed my cheek"
Amanda pulled herself out of Barnes' arms and looked at Barnes, "You're not making this up, are you? Little Amanda kissed your cheek?"
Barnes chuckled amusedly, "Hmm, yes. I'm not making it up. Not even once did little Amanda kiss my cheek. Little Amanda kissed me on the cheek as she gave me a gift on my birthday"
"What did Amanda give you back then?" ask Amanda.
"A watch. I still keep the watch in my office" Barnes said.
"Huh?! You still keep it?"
"Hmm, yes" said Barnes with a smile.
"You're going to have a birthday next month, right? I want to give you another gift so you can save it and let my card later accompany the gift watch from little Amanda"
Barnes pulled Amanda's body and hugged it again, saying, "I don't need any gifts. There's you beside me that's enough" Barnes said.
Amanda wanted to ask, do you love me? but, he did not have enough confidence so, he swallowed back the question word.
Barnes wanted to shout the word, I love you but he did not want to burden Amanda with that statement and he swallowed the word he was about to say.
"It's destiny. We were reunited when we were kids and friends, then we were separated long enough and could meet again. It's destiny" Barnes said as he stroked Amanda's back.
Amanda said, "What if we're separated again?"
"I won't let anyone, not even fate, separate us again" Barnes said, landing a kiss on Amanda's head and then saying, "Sleep! You're tired enough today"
Amanda could sleep well in Barnes' arms. He felt warm and comfortable despite sleeping on a mattress with a very cold floor.
