Barnes again marginalized his car when his phone he put on the dashboard rang very loudly and on his screen appeared his headquarters number.

Barnes stroked Amanda's cheek, "Hope first! I'm gonna take a call first. From the headquarters"

Amanda smiled and nodded her head.

Barnes pulled his phone off the dashboard and while jumping down from inside his car, he picked up the phone call. "Hello, I'm Barnes Adiwilaga Darmawan. Who am I talking to right now?"

"I'm General Bayu. I'm General Teguh's successor. I'm your new leader"

"Ready!" Barnes stood straight up. "What orders, General?"

"The murder case of Broto Dirgantara, the real name of the murder victim in Pomegranate housing number five. He's a secret agent. Most likely, our arch-enemy, has kissed our step therefore, he was killed. His wife and son were kidnapped to invite us into their circle. We have to be careful in moving from now on"

"What orders, General?"

"You and your team, I'll be assigned to Japan for three months starting today"

"Sorry General! May I ask for a day because tomorrow, my family comes home from America" Barnes said.

"okay! Just for the day and night, you and your team must leave immediately"

Click! General Bayu disconnected his cell phone from Barnes.

Barnes put his phone back in his shirt pocket and ran around to get back in his car.

"Yeah! matt's fried rice, it's so good, baby!" Amanda held out a plastic spoon filled with fried rice to Barnes' mouth.

Hap! Barnes advanced his handsome face to receive that one spoonful of fried rice.

Amanda's eyes blinked and smiled and said, "Don't you think?"

"Hm! I've been ripping off Matt's cooking. Matt is a cook"

"And you?" Amanda gives a second bribe to Barnes when she sees Barnes' mouth empty.

Barnes chuckled amusedly and shook his head.

"If you could cook, it would be perfect. He was handsome, brave, strong, loyal, loved his wife, responsible, and able to cook, Wow! it would have been perfect" Amanda said as she gave a third bribe to Barnes

"I'll learn to cook if you like a man who can cook" Barnes said.

Amanda chuckles amusedly, "I'm just kidding. I can't cook either. There is also Mr. Samin so, do not need to learn to cook. You've been very busy" Amanda waved her palm in front of Barnes.

"But I will keep doing it. I'll learn to cook for you" Barnes said, stroking Amanda's hair.

"Going home? Your house?" ask Amanda while putting the feeding container in its original place and then put the seat belt on.

"Our house" Barnes said.

"Yes our home. But, why don't we go to my Om's house first?"

"TKP has been handled by the authorities. It's free if we go there. We'll wait for the forensics report"

"But, what about Aunt and Laura?"

"They're kidnapped. I'll tell you later after we meet with everyone" Barnes said.

"You can read my mind, right now?" Barnes glanced at Amanda with a faint smile. Barnes was always jealous of everything because Amanda could read the minds of everyone and only her mind could not be read by Amanda.

Amanda shook her head towards Barnes. She looked at her handsome husband's face from the side and said, "I can't read your mind but, I can read your face"

Barnes glanced at Amanda as he continued to drive his car at a moderate pace, then the handsome commander said, ""Yes you're right. Tomorrow night, me and the five Jays are leaving for Japan"

"How long?"

"Three Months"

"And during that time, you can't help the time to go home for a day or two?" Amanda looked at the face beside Barnes with hopeful eyes, Barnes would reply could.

However, it's Barnes's head that Amanda accepts.

Amanda then turned her gaze towards the front with a long sigh.

Barnes glanced at Amanda and stroked Amanda's head, "I'm sorry. He said I should always be honest with you"

Barnes glanced at Amanda while asking "Then why do you look sad?"

Amanda turned to Barnes with her sweet smile. "And what about Papa, Mama, and Prince? They're going home, right, tomorrow? You're just gonna leave them?"

"They're used to my world. There's you and Bryna. You and Bryna can look after them for me" Barnes said.

Amanda then turned with a hopeful face to Barnes, "Am I allowed to visit you in Japan?"

"I'll move places so, can't be visited"

Amanda, who was still holding Barnes' left hand, pursed her lips and turned her gaze forward with a long sigh"

Barnes glanced at Amanda and again said, "I'm sorry, honey"

"Yes, Mister Police! I forgive you"Amanda replied in an annoyed tone.

"Are you angry?" Barnes glanced at Amanda.

"I'm not angry. Just. I don't understand what I'm feeling right now either" Amanda said.

Barnes could only glance at Amanda with a long sigh because he was indeed not good at persuading women if they were sulking. Barnes shut up and decided to focus on driving.

Amanda let go of Barnes' left hand and said, "Call that you want to speed. I've freed your hands"

Barnes glanced at Amanda with a faint smile and then he increased the speed of his car to his house where everything had been waiting for his and Amanda's arrival.
