Chapter 156 The Jealousy of Matthew
In the car, outside the warehouse.
"Sir, I'm tipping Ren with Ricka." Hana put her two children in the driver. He wanted to see Rin act. It is impossible to bring Ren and Ricka to see the scene of Rin being tortured by her stepmother in the film. Ren and especially Ricka will cry.
Hana got out of the car. He walked to the set. From a distance he sees Rin being tortured. Not real but still hurt his heart.
Hana sees Rin being slapped, hit, and kicked. Complete already the suffering of Lisa, the character played by Rin.
"Cuts."
Rin hwnya was lying on the floor. He will be in the blood makeup and bruises in place of lying because Rin's body should not change its position.
"Mama." Rin called out to Hana in a lying position on the floor. She can only smile from far away. Hana looked at the bloodstains and bruises that were like the real thing.
Filming resumed with camera focus to Lisa's stepmother. Lisa's stepmother turned out to be sneaky. He only wants Bram's treasure, Lisa's father.
Filming resumed again when Lisa was found by someone living in a warehouse.
"Action."
Someone approached Lisa. He saw a tiny body lying on the floor with bruises all over his body.
Her index finger touched Lisa's hand. Is this little boy dead?
Lisa's body moved. The man knew that the little body was still alive. He carried the small body onto the mat he had named for his bed. He then took the water in the basin. He wiped the tiny body clean.
That guy was about ten years old. But his body looked tall. He was waiting for Lisa. He wants to take Lisa to the hospital for better treatment but he also has no money.
"Cut," cried the director. He started monitoring the scene of Lisa fainting under the care of the boy.
They took a break for a moment.
"Mama." Rin ran towards Hana. He invites Hana to meet Rayhan, his co-star who will be his brother in the next scene.
There's a call coming in from Matthew. "Matthew." Rin sees Matthew's face on Hana's phone screen.
"Rin. Are you okay?" Matthew saw Rin's messy hair and clothes.
"I'm okay. It's Rin's acting shirt." Rin explained.
"Matthew, introduce. This is Rayhan's brother." Rin points the camera at Rayhan.
Meanwhile Matthew could see the good looks of Rayhan's face which could be said to be above average. He feels rivaled. He is jealous of Rin and Rayhan's closeness.
If only he had been in Indonesia, he would have continued with Rin. But today they are different continents. The distance between them is too far. He is in America while Rin is in Indonesia.
"Matthew?" Rin saw Matthew who was silent.
"Matthew?" Rin called Matthew again. There was no response from Matthew.
"Rin hang up" threatened Rin.
"Don't." Matthew woken. He was busy thinking about something. Matthew then talked to Rin for a moment.
Rin then pointed the camera at the set. He wanted to show the film to Matthew.
"Matthew?" Rin felt Matthew fall silent again. Matthew was back. Rin was called again to continue filming.
"Matthew, Rin should be filming. Bye bye."
"Bye bye."
Mathew immediately tells Martha if she has to go to Indonesia to see Rin.
"What's wrong? Has anyone died?" Martha was worried.
"Nobody died, Mom. I have to go to Indonesia. Rin can't be close to Rayhan." Matthew's possessive side appeared.
All this time he did not blame Rin's male friends. But it's different with Rayhan. Rin will do many filming scenes with Rayhan. Rin will become familiar with Rayhan.
Martha knew Matthew was jealous of seeing Rin with Rayhan. Especially Rayhan's pretty face. Martha had seen Rayhan on Matthew's video call with Rin.
"Ask Daddy. If Daddy allows it, Mommy allows it too."
Matthew went straight to his Daddy, Martin. "Dad, Matthew has to go to Indonesia."
"Why? Did something happen to Rin?" Martin knows that Rin is currently filming a movie.
"Rin is fine. Matthew's not okay."
