Vano's wish

"Not eaten the food?" vano asked as she watched Queen put the spoon and fork in her hand on the plate.

"I'm full, sister," replied the Queen.

"Yes if you are full, but do not go to sleep. It is not good if you eat directly to sleep," said Vano. He then tidied the plates of the Queen's former dining area and took her out of the room.

It was then that Vano saw Arvin who was behind the door.

"Ar, why don't you come in?" ask Vano. "If there's anything you want to talk about with the Queen come in! He's calmer now and can be spoken to."

"I knew. I've been here listening to your conversation ever since" replied Arvin. He then took a deep breath.

"Wanna talk to me?" asked Vano, he knew that there was something the Queen's sister wanted to talk about.

Arvin nodded. "I'll wait for you on the back porch" he replied.

"Okay, I put this in the kitchen." Vano showed a dirty plate in his hand.

Arvin first went to the back porch. Not long after, Vano arrived. He saw his friend sitting and lighting a cigarette.

"Tumben smoking? Remember, Vin, both your sister and boyfriend do not like male smokers," said Vano.

"I knew. But, I just need something that can shift my guilt to my sister. As a big brother I feel like I failed because I couldn't protect my sister" Arvin said. Not used to smoking, Arvin continued to cough.

"Dump this!" Vano grabbed the cigarette between Arvin's fingers and threw it to the ground. He stepped on the cigarette to die. "You're not a shaman or a psychic who can predict what events will happen in the future, so don't keep blaming yourself" Vano replied.

Vano breathed his long breath. Yes, Arvin was right, he also kept blaming himself. There were a lot of words if only he kept running around inside his head. But, he realized that all the words if it could not change what had happened. So, all he could do was accept it, even if it was difficult.

"Fel."

"Hm?"

"I want to marry Queen."

Vano's answer made Arvin look at his friend and personal assistant.

"Are you serious? I mean.. You're not doing this because you're sorry about what happened to Queen right now, are you? Because if that's why I disagree and I'm sure Queen won't either" asked Arvin.

"You know for yourself, right, that ever since your sister Junior High I've been in love with her. And it felt like waiting until he was old enough was a long time ago. I was going to stay her night after she graduated from college, but because of that incident, it made me want to be by her side to be able to take care of her at all times. I don't want anything like this to happen to Queen again" Vano explained.

"But, Van. We don't know what really happened to Queen that day. But... If the doctor's guess yesterday is correct, do you still want to accept my sister? I don't want you or your family to look down on my sister because of this incident" Arvin said. As a brother he did not want his sister to be humiliated later on.

"I'm not going to do that forever. Whatever happens to her, it will never change my view of Queen. She looks at being an honorable woman in my eyes" Vano replied firmly.

"If you're sure, I'll definitely support you. Then just express your wishes to Father and Mother." Arvin patted Vano on the shoulder as a form of support.

"Thank you, Ar," Vano said with a smile.
