Heavy Rain

Kimmy abandoned her intention to go to her aunt's house, because it was raining this afternoon. It did not allow him to travel.

Suddenly someone knocked on the door of his house. At first Kimmy refused to open, because who would dare to visit his house in a rainy time like this. As soon as the door opened, he was shocked.

"Jef?" screech the girl.

The clothes the man was wearing looked soaked.

"Why are your clothes wet? You raining?" Kimmy looked at his yard. "Where's your car?"

"Can I come in?" jef ignored Kimmy's question.

Kimmy nodded and immediately picked up a towel for her husband.

"It." Kimmy handed Jef his towel, the man immediately accepted it and went to the bathroom.

"Why did he get here?" muttered Kimmy, then passed from where it stood.

Five minutes waiting in front of the bathroom, the man came out with a towel that covered the abdomen to the knees. Kimmy immediately turned his body unable to see Jef who was bare chest.

"This is your dress you left before you put on your coat on our cobbled day." Kimmy handed over with the position of her husband's back.

Jef accepted it, and went back into the bathroom. Luckily, his clothes were left behind. Otherwise, perhaps he would be naked as long as his clothes had not dried yet.

Kimmy passed by and went to the kitchen to make a warm drink for Jef. After that, he waited for Jef in the living room.

Not long after, Jef returned with the clothes he had given him.

"Drink first to keep your body warm!" kimmy said as she thrust the cup at the table in front of her husband.

"Thank you!" jef then sipped the drink.

The atmosphere was silent for a moment.

"Oh yeah, you haven't answered my question yet" Kimmy said. "Does Belle's sister know now that you're here? I'm afraid he'll slap me again because we met before his time."

Kimmy was really upset at that woman for what she did a few days ago.

"Belle slap you?" ask the man and get a nod from Kimmy.

"Yes, Belle doesn't accept if I go out and have lunch with you" Kimmy said.

Jef clucked. He didn't think Belle could do that to Kimmy.

"Want to what else did he do to you?"

"Threat?" Jef frowned.

"Yes, if Belle's sister dares to hit me again, then I will not hesitate to tell my marriage and you to the public" Kimmy replied.

Jef was silent for a moment. Looks like he should be able to control Belle in his attitude towards Kimmy. Because if Belle does something that makes Kimmy uncomfortable, not only does Belle damage her reputation, she does too.

"Jef..!" call Kimmy the one the other time, pull the man back to the real world.

"Hm, yes?"

"Why are you here? You have to answer my question" Kimmy asked curiously.

Jef grabbed something from his pants pocket, a credit card was given to Kimmy.

"I came here to give this to you."

Kimmy received the card. "Why the rain? Your car?"

"My car broke down in the first fork, fortunately it was there near the workshop. While my car was in service, I was escorted by someone who was there. Just a few meters down the road, the rain was already pouring so hard" explained the man.

"You can come here tomorrow."

"You say you don't have money and want to work, just think of it as my responsibility to support you."

"Thank you!" kimmy said, then Jef told the card pin.

The atmosphere in the room returned to silence, only the sound of rainwater sounding loud enough to dominate. No more conversation between them.

Instantly, the sound of lightning echoing and creating the vibration of the window glass made Kimmy spontaneously scatter into Jef's arms. His hands tightly gripped the shirt the man was wearing. Both of his eyes closed in fear. Flashes of light began to enter the window slit as lightning rumbled.

"Don't be afraid, there's me!"

The voice seemed to awaken Kimmy, she opened her eyes and looked up. Their sight met with a very close distance.

Kimmy immediately let go of his embrace. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to aaaaaaaaa..."

Kimmy hugged Jef again as the sound of lightning roared louder than before. The rain is now sounding increasingly heavy.

Slowly, Jef's two hands moved subconsciously to return Kimmy's embrace. He stroked the hair of the girl in his arms as if he was calming.

"Hug it if you need it!" jef whispered right next to Kimmy's ear.
