My Adopted Princess's

My Adopted Princess's
Chapter 8

Caitlin's unwanted morning arrives, not wanting to get out of the room and meet people she didn't recognize like yesterday, but what can Caitlin do at the age of just 14? He does not know where else to go if not with them, Caitlin wants to be with Tommy, but the man has said he can not take care of Caitlin at an old age and economic factors become his biggest obstacle.

No tears began to flow on Caitlin's cheeks, longing for Maria again appeared, and, usually every morning he would be a little overwhelmed helping Maria in the market and as school approached hours he would go home to take a shower and prepare for school. Now, everything is just a memory, no more Mary's helping hand. “Mom, I want to come with you,” he said slowly. As much as possible he carved sobs out of his mouth, he did not know whether his adoptive parents would treat Caitlin well or even consider Caitlin a pest.

Geck.. Geck..

Hearing the sound of knocking on the door, Caitlin quickly wiped her tears, she wrapped herself back in a thick blanket that felt warm. There was a door that began to open slowly accompanied by footsteps that began to approach him.

“Caitlin, let's wake up baby, we have to prepare now, this afternoon we will go home.” The soft voice came from Selena, she was indeed so kind and always calmed Caitlin down from the hospital, but it was still not enough to make Caitlin feel comfortable, everything was still too foreign for Caitlin.

While slowly swallowing her saliva, Caitlin began to lower her blanket. “Ya.” Only that came out of Caitlin's mouth which was accompanied by a light nod of the head. Selena smiled gently, she rubbed Caitlin's head affectionately and went out of the room.

“Dad, please let Caitlin be with me here, I want to take responsibility for her and don't want the girl to hate me. After all this is the city where he lives, he will feel comfortable and have many opportunities to meet Tommy and his other friends, he said, at least give me a chance to atone for my guilt Dad.”

Then Maria's soft voice began to sound, “sayang, our child has grown up, will we not give a chance for her—“

“No, this is not a trivial affair, we have promised we will take good care of Caitlin, it is better for Lewis to finish his studies here and immediately return to Chicago!” cut Austin firmly.

Caitlin feels she has a little light in her life, at least she won't go too far with Tommy and his friends if she lives with the man named Lewis, the man who must keep his guilt in mind if he is near Caitlin at all times, the man has taken away his happiness with Mary, he cannot so easily live freely without remorse! Caitlin ventured out of the room and entered into a new family debate she never expected. “Can I choose?” The three people looked silent at the voiced Caitlin. “I want to stay here,” Caitlin added later.
