My Angel Baby's

My Angel Baby's
Meet Lia

The next day, after Mawan tried to convince Sam if Lian was not as good as he thought, Sam instead looked angry and blamed Mawan who he said was too meddling in his personal affairs.

Either what wind and how bravery that is able to make Mawan lost consciousness to make him stand here, in front of the office of the Alexander family company.

The magnificent building was stared at by Mawan with many questions on his mind. Last after school, without much consideration Mawan forwarded his bike to come to the place.

People who pass by with their own interests can only look on without expression.

"Should I come here? Will I be able to go inside? Or will I just go home empty-handed?" mawan muttered in his consideration.

"But what's wrong is trying, anyway what I'm doing is also in their interests. One of his family members was in danger" finally his determination was unanimous.

His steady steps began to enter the spacious office lobby. Once inside, Mawan is presented with a reception desk in the middle of the room.

The right side that looks empty, where people go out into the office further away, there is also a toilet there. In a place that goes a little deeper inside.

While on the left side there is a set of guest sofas that look comfortable and clean. As well as a large aquarium with colorful fish in it. The fat fish looks fresh because it is in the right place with the right care.

The casting is very good according to Mawan, the wall decoration and all the furniture in it looks luxurious in the eyes of Mawan who is just an ordinary person.

"Can I help you, brother?" his daydream was messed up by security.

"Eh, sorry sir. I became daydreaming" replied Mawan a little unpleasant, but the look of the security face was not creepy even though the impression of firm and authoritative was there.

"It's okay. Whose sister wants to meet? Or want to pick up a brother who's home from work maybe?" ask security because it saw Mawan who came still in high school uniform with his backpack.

"Ehm, I'm Mawan sir. Schoolmate Samuel, Lia's sister. Can I meet with Lia? There are important things that I have to convey directly to him" Mawan replied politely.

"Ehm, Miss Lia yes. For a moment I tried to ask the receptionist first yes" replied the security as it passed. Walk slowly towards the reception desk which is always busy with his phone and computer screen.

I don't know what they're talking about, Mawan doesn't really hear it. He was a little unconvinced by the reception at the office.

At first Mawan thought it would be like in the stories of the novel, the presence of the poor would be repelled with anger by his lowly employees, and would be saved by the office owner.

But apparently all that is not applicable in this office, because all employees look professional at work. Thinking everyone is the same, Mawan is grateful because his steps are made easier. Maybe because he wanted to help his friend.

"Let me take you to Ms. Lia's room. It just so happens that he is loose right now" the security said.

"Good sir. Thank you" Mawan said as he walked up to the man in the brown uniform, smiling and nodding during his trip to greet the clerk who happened to cross paths with him.

Be polite even if you don't recognize them. That's what Mawan is doing right now.

After riding in the elevator and walking in some quiet hallways, Mawan stopped in front of a room door that read 'Vice director' on the door leaf.

A beautiful woman welcomes the arrival of Mawan and security sir to let in.

"Please tell me, I stay down first. If later you have trouble finding a way down after your business is finished, you can ask this secretary to contact me" said the security.

"Yes sir, thank you" Mawan replied while nodding in understanding.

"Please tell me, you've been awaited by Ms. Lia" said the beautiful secretary taking over the conversation.

Apparently there is still another room in it, with a glass door that can show the atmosphere in there. Looks like Lia is struggling with her laptop. Mawan is not feeling well.

"Excuse me ma'am, my mother's guest has arrived" the secretary said, causing Lia to take her eyes off the laptop screen and look at Mawan.

"Yes thanks. You can go out" said Lia.

"Well ma'am, excuse me" the secretary said and passed away.

Mawan still stands still after being abandoned by Lia's secretary.

"Yes my sister, it's me" Mawan replied suddenly embarrassed because Lia still remembered him.

"Please sit. What's the matter until you come here?" ask Lia.

Mawan sat on a chair, facing Lia who was bounded by a wide table and there was office equipment on it. There was a picture of Samuel's family on the table. They looked very happy with their sausage and a smile on their faces. Very visible face of the conglomerate.

"Ehm, I want to tell you something about Lian, our classmate to big brother" Mawan said after sitting up straight.

Lia was interested to hear it, it had been some time that she no longer looked up about the girl. Let's just say what news Mawan brought until he looks very serious.

"You mean Diamond?" ask Lia.

"Yes brother. Sorry if I was sassy. I was worried about Samuel's safety. So I found out about Lian. But after I got the information about him, it seemed like Sam didn't believe everything I said, sis. She was in love with Lian, so all she saw about Lian was her kindness" said Mawan who had begun to comfortably talk to Lia.

"Yes, I told him once. He doesn't believe it either. There are some things I don't know about the girl. So it's kind of hard to convince Sam" said Lia who is already very interested in the topic.

"What makes you so sure diamonds are dangerous to Sam?" ask Lia again.

Instead of answering, Mawan took something out of his bag. A brown envelope containing all the information about Lian in full.

"This I got from the office of his mother Lian, brother" Mawan said as he thrust his brown envelope.

Lia received the dossier in surprise, "To my knowledge Lian's mother was the owner of the bar. How did you get this file?" ask Lia.

"That's because I hacked into his office, brother. I was determined to find out about Lian who seemed to have evil intentions for Sam. But even Sam who does not believe in me" replied Mawan with a disappointed face.

"How did you get in there? Surely the guard there is tight, right" asked Lia again, while reading the file in her hand.

"I disguised myself to get into the bar, brother. Using a KTP belonging to my mother's warkop customer" replied Mawan honestly.

Lia looked up after getting an answer from Mawan. The girl did not expect that Mawan would do such a dangerous thing for Samuel. Lia so sure to believe in Mawan this time is the right thing.

"The information inside is very detailed. That means the woman that Diamond calls mother is not her real mother" Lia said.

"It seems so big brother, who knows that Lian's mother is dead and she is taken care of by her father who is a gambler" replied Mawan.

"I wonder why Samuel could fall in love with a girl whose back screen was so obvious" Lia said, reading the file Mawan brought.

"Love comes by itself, brother. Our hearts cannot be commanded by the brain to stop the sense already established by it. So yes like Samuel who can not use his logic to stop his love for Lian" Mawan's answer makes Lia a little gawking, do not expect if a child as small as Mawan can already view about Love, love, Lia always loses in that.

"You could have" said Lia.

"Eh, sorry brother" said Mawan kadi misbehaved while scratching his nape that did not itch. He felt that his words were too exaggerated.

"No problem" Lia replied.

"Then what do you expect from me by bringing all this information?" ask Lia.

He wanted to know what kind of move Mawan wanted after taking such a bold step. It's impossible if he just wants Lia to reprimand Sam.

If so, he didn't have to be that brave by risking his own security to obtain information as important as this, did he.

Mawan also has his own plan for this. And it was all these plans that made him dare to meet Lia directly without Samuel's knowledge.
