12. Bringing Him Home

As promised, Ethan takes Jhonson and his girlfriend Daby to meet with his parents. He plans to marry Daby next year because he feels he deserves to be married. And after the next year finishes his term in his papa office, he will marry and live in England with Daby.

"You introduced us to your parents, did they know about us?" ask Jhonson.

"Yes, even my mom and dad know that I have Daby's girlfriend" Ethan replied.

Jhonson was silent, he glanced at Daby and stared at the street from the window beside him. He is worried about their meeting with Ethan's parents.

Daby is just stunned when Ethan talks about the two. He occasionally glanced at Jhonson from the rearview mirror.

"Geez, Ethan. We go to your parents' house just introduce it or is there something to talk about?" ask Daby.

"There are others too, dear. I'll tell you when I get home and meet my parents. Can't wait to hear what I'll talk about later?" ethan asked, looking at Daby.

"Yes, of course. Can you whisper to me what you want to talk about later? Yeah, so I can get ready and talk more politely with your dad and your mom. So that I don't look embarrassing" Daby said.

"Something matters baby, you don't worry. It's not a matter of your attitude towards my father and mother, and it's a surprise for you anyway" Ethan said with a smile on his lips.

Daby just smiled, he glanced again into the rearview mirror. Looking at Jhonson who still looks sour face. Ethan looked at Jhonson from the rearview mirror, looking he was surprised by his best friend.

"Hey bro, what are you thinking? Are you afraid to meet my dad? Didn't you meet my father there?" ask Ethan.

"Emm, it's okay. Just be lazy to talk, don't think about me" said Jhonson.

"Okay, you just shut up doesn't matter. I'll have your opinion on my plan" Ethan said.

"What plan?" ask Jhonson now wondering what Ethan said.

"Consecret. I'll tell you later if I tell both my parents" Ethan said, still making puzzles.

Daby and Jhonson look at each other from the rearview mirror, they think about what Ethan will talk about with his parents.

Now the car enters the large and spacious house area. The garden in front was very large, and the garden was grown with flowers preserved by Ethan's mother. Lady Hana, she follows her husband's hobby of gardening. It was just that Madame Hana was planting the flowers she liked, while her husband was planting fruit trees in the backyard.

Ethan stops his car in the spacious yard of the house, he's out in a row by Daby and Jhonson. They were both amazed by Ethan's parents' mansion.

"Your house is big Ethan" said Daby, looking around the house closely.

"It's my parents' house, not mine" Ethan said.

"Just like that, right?" jhosnon said.

"Not bro. This belongs to my father and my mother, and mine is the apartment on the outskirts of the city. Never mind, don't talk about unimportant things. Come on in." said Ethan, pulling Daby's hand.

They went into the big house of Wijaya sir. Ethan takes the two to the back, where both of his parents must be in the care of the garden. Once there, Ethan tells Jhonson and Daby to sit in their usual chair for a chat.

"I went to see papa first, you guys just sit here. The waiter will bring you a snack" said Ethan.

Ethan smiled, he then stepped away from the two. Jhonson stared at Daby who looked to be staring at Ethan's departure.

"You're amazed at what Ethan has?" ask Jhonson.

"Emm, great. Then I'm not worried about you. But, I thought about what Ethan would talk about with his parents? Don't you feel suspicious and anxious?" ask Jhonson.

"Here we go, let's hear what he's talking about. What's clear is that our relationship will be fine, you don't worry" Daby said.

Jhonson smiled, he was relieved by Daby's words. He just felt guilty for having what belonged to his best friend. But he also could not escape his feelings for Daby, and again Daby welcomed him. So, nothing's wrong. Just waiting for time. So thought Jhonson.

Ethan and his parents came. Unlike Madame Hana who enthusiastically met her son's boyfriend and best friend. But unlike Mr. Wijaya, staring at Jhonson and Daby just plain. It even looks cold, but he respects the arrival of his girlfriend and best friend.

"Hello lord Wijaya, welcome to meet again." said Jhonson shaking hands with Mr. Wijaya.

"Yes, you are different now" replied Mr. Wijaya.

"Oh yeah? Huhah! Mr. Wijaya could have." said Jhonson.

"Yes, maybe because you have enjoyed what should not be yours" said Mr. Wijaya.

Jhonson was silent, he frowned not understanding what his father Ethan was saying.

"Don't think about my words. Come sit down again, and this woman is your boyfriend Ethan?" ask Mr. Wijaya.

"real pa. I intend to introduce Daby with papa and mama. Because I'm going to be serious about having a relationship with Daby" Ethan said.

"Oh Ethan, you mean you're going to be serious about this girl? She is beautiful and smiling" said Madam Hana looking at Daby with great pleasure.

"Huhah! You like Daby?" ask Ethan.

"Of course your choice is always to like and support you" said Madam Hana.

Daby just smiled at Ethan and his mother without her understanding. Jhonson himself interpreted their conversation that Ethan really likes Daby and his mother also likes Daby.

"What are you going to talk about Ethan? You seem to be talking important" said Mr. Wijaya.

"Yes pa. But I don't want to rush to say it pa, we can talk over lunch. It's one o'clock in the afternoon" Ethan said.

"You haven't eaten yet?" ask Miss Hana.

"Yes ma, and indeed my plan is to invite them to eat here and at the same time talk about other things that are very important papa and mama know" said Ethan.

"Yes well, honoring guests is important. So let's have lunch first" said Mr. Wijaya.

Ethan invites Daby and Jhonson back into the dining room. They're having lunch with Ethan's parents. Although Jhonson was feeling restless, he tried to be relaxed and familiar with Papa and Ethan's mother.

While Daby himself felt awkward, he always glanced at Mr. Wijaya who seemed less like him. But his hand is always held by Ethan, inevitably Daby follows what Ethan does to him.
