09. The Apartment

Since Ethan came early in the morning to Riana's house, Riana came to Ethan's apartment to prepare clothes for the office. He either brought breakfast or he made breakfast in Ethan's kitchen.

Ethan is happy that Riana is finally meeting all the needs to go to the office. He also before returning home reminded his boss to always sleep and rest enough.

Like a personal assistant, Riana prepared everything. It's just that he doesn't live with Ethan, so he bothers to get up early and go to Ethan's apartment.

"I'm getting bothered with my job as an assistant. Why not just find someone else? A man can be a personal assistant, he's more free. If last night can stay at his boss' apartment." said Riana.

In his cab, he pondered. He should resign from his job. Sometimes he is confused by Ethan's attitude, sometimes being cold sometimes also warm and friendly to people.

It is like having a double nature. Riana smiled slantedly considering the incident earlier this morning. Ethan receives reports from the administration and finance department. The two parts that happened to hold were the female chairmen.

Ethan looked at the two looking coldly as he listened to their explanation. But he will talk more when with people he thinks are close.

Go home, as usual Riana to Ethan's apartment first. I don't know what he's doing, but Ethan asks him to always stop by his apartment before going home. The reason is always there, in order to clean his apartment or just iron his clothes.

In fact, usually also go to the laundry and have neat clothes.

Like tonight, Riana was told to check the files from the office that had not been completed. He was told to check it out at his apartment.

"You hungry?" ask Ethan.

"Yes, but I don't want to eat" Riana replied.

He was silent, then looked at Ethan who was standing. Ethan wondered why Riana was so shocked by the sound of lightning.

"You're shocked?" ask Ethan.

"Of course, the lightning was a huge sound. What's out of the rain?" ask Riana.

He got up from his seat and headed towards the window. To make sure that it is raining outside. And sure enough, he was upset too. Why are the nights raining, he should go home as soon as possible. But it's raining.

"It's raining again" said Riana.

"You just stay here" Ethan said.

"Do you have to stay?" ask Riana.

"As far as you are, if you want to go home please. I suggest you stay overnight, because it will definitely be caught in the flood later on the road. I'm lazy to drive you home" said Ethan, stepping into the kitchen.

"Curtain! Who asked to be sent home. Every time I go home I always take a taxi, why talk like that" said Riana stared intently at the boss.

He then headed to the sofa again, continuing to check the files and data on his laptop. Before long the sound of the bell outside rang, Riana turned to the door and she looked towards the kitchen.

"Just open it, it's a message between meals. You must be hungry" Ethan said from the kitchen.

Riana got up and headed for the door, opened it and it was seen that the service brother was carrying a crackle containing a lunch box.

"This is mbak, it's been paid for the order" said the brother.

"Thank you bang. It still raining outside?" ask Riana.

"Yes, up ahead also seems to want to flood" replied his brother.

"Are there any taxis passing by?" ask Riana again.

Ethan notices Riana talking to the food delivery boy. He came closer, wondering what Riana was talking about with the food deliveryman.

"What are you talking about?" ask Ethan.

As she leaves, Riana stares at Ethan. Ethan frowned, why was Riana so upset with him?

"Hey, you should thank me for ordering food. What are you talking about with the food delivery guy anyway?" ethan said curiously.

"No need to be in. Upset I have to be here." said Riana.

Ethan was silent, and he stepped into his room. It was ten o'clock at night, he wanted to contact his lover and also his best friend wanted to know the development of his cafe there.

Riana sees Ethan's back go inside her room, until the door closes. He's hissing pissed.

"Why is there such a boss. I'm so upset." said Riana.

He looked at his laptop and turned to the crackle bag. In that bag of crackles, he took his lunch box.

"I'd better just eat, I happen to be hungry" Riana said.

He scoops a little food and then bribes it. One or two tablespoons he ate, until he finished one box containing the food. And again he continued his work.

Until twelve in the evening, Riana was sleepy. Then fall asleep on the couch until the morning. The laptop has not been turned off, but the screen is off.

The sound of an alarm on her phone woke Riana up. He saw his phone was five in the morning. He looked around the room, not in the room.

"Ooh, so I fell asleep on the couch in Ethan's apartment? Ck, I have to go home first" he said.

He took care of his laptop and his files, and he went to the bathroom to wash his face. And as usual he tidied up the apartment first, made Ethan breakfast. And it just so happens that one box of food last night hasn't been eaten.

So Riana warmed up again and served at the dinner table. Then he slowly knocked on Ethan's bedroom door. His intention is to take a work shirt and prepare it for Ethan.

Not in the lock, he went inside. Look at the bed and step closer, making sure the boss is still asleep or awake.

"Emm, he's still sleeping. All right, I'll just get the clothes ready." said Riana about to leave.

But suddenly Ethan's hand grabbed his hand and pulled it until Riana fell on the stocky body. As her blanket fluttered, Riana remained motionless.

Ethan is still catching Riana's body, as if he is about to kiss Riana. But Riana turned away so that Ethan's face did not come close to her face.

But Ethan's hand pulls and tightens the grip. Making Riana unable to move, she closed her eyes. But then he tries to escape from Ethan's clutches.

"Where are you going?" ethan muttered with his eyes still closed.

"I want to go out sir, it's morning" Riana replied.

Ethan takes off his hand grip on Riana. She turned around on her back, quickly Riana stood up and moved away. He sees Ethan's burly body as it looks as his blanket flips.

"Well, that's why sleep is not wearing clothes. Is he not cold?" riana muttered.

He was transfixed to see the burly body clearly plastered in front of him. Riana gulped her saliva, but then she regained her senses and quickly rushed to pick up Ethan's work clothes.

Before the man found out that Riana was wrong to see the body of her boss.

After all, he makes notes for Ethan at the dinner table.

'I'm home, everything's done. I went late to the office. Sorry.'

The note he put on top of the food he covered. Then he rushed home to take a shower, change his clothes and do his usual activities at his house every morning.
