03. New Job to be New Boss

Ethan, Mr. Wijaya and Riana are eating at the restaurant this afternoon. The three eat casually and talk about the work Ethan will face later.

Mr. Wijaya briefed Riana about the work she would face later with her son. Because it seems like Ethan has not been able to adapt to Riana, so now Riana has to adjust first with Ethan.

"So you should know what you should do, Riana. Ethan is different from me, you have to be firm and be able to give him more understanding" Wijaya said when Ethan went to the toilet.

Riana is silent, she sees Ethan coming back from the toilet. Mr. Wijaya sipped his coffee, looking at his son who was seen calling someone. He snorted, it was definitely his girlfriend's phone in England.

"Who are you calling?" ask Mr. Wijaya.

"My girlfriend pa." replied Ethan ending his phone call.

"Your boyfriend is loyal?" ask Mr. Wijaya again.

"Why? Do you have doubts about Debby?"

"Yes, I hope he is really a good girl" said Mr. Wijaya again took his coffee cup again.

Riana was silent, she stared at the street. Ethan glanced at Riana at a glance, then he stood up and was about to leave.

"Where are you going?"

"Go home pa. It just wants to be here."

Mr. Wijaya and Riana also moved, Ethan noticed the way to stand between his papa and Riana together. He smiled cynically, then walked first to his car after paying for food at the cashier.

The first day of being the boss in the company, Mr. Wijaya Ethan left early. He looked at Riana's desk yet nothing. In note what was on Riana's table, there was a picture frame, a glass cup and some neatly arranged files on the edge of the table.

There are also writing tools and notebooks. Ethan takes Riana's notebook, there are some work notes and also personal notes. He opened it and read it.

"Good morning, Ethan." said Riana bowed respectfully and looked at the book her boss was holding.

"Hemm, you just came at this hour?" ethan asked glanced at the clock on his wrist.

Still at seventeen minutes, Riana glanced at also the watch in her hand .

"I used to come at this hour sir, before the office hours in the beginning I was already in the office and tidied up the room wijaya sir. I mean, I tidied up your next room" Riana said.

"You should have come before I came. But I came first, but you haven't come yet" Ethan said staring flatly at Riana.

Ethan stares cynically at Riana, looking from toe to toe at Riana's head then leaves Riana for the elevator. Riana keeps her bag on the desk, and she walks into Ethan's office.

Enter the room he used to clean every morning. Just a few things he tidied up, the door opened again. Riana turned her head, Ethan entered her room and checked her new desk.

"This will be in the equipment section in the replacements. All of papa's belongings are replaced with mine, and his position must be correct" Ethan said.

Riana was silent, she saw what to change? No stuff to clean.

"But, your stuff is not there yet sir. So, I'm confused about what to move" Riana said.

"Papa's, you tidy it up in cardboard. Everyone, I want the atmosphere of my room to be different from my old room." said Ethan again.

"Do you have to remodel the room?"

"If you need to."

"I don't care. Just do it." said Ethan again.

"But where are you going to work?" ask Riana.

"Where." replied Ethan.

"Why didn't you say before you got to work sir?"

"You're blaming me?"

"No. It's just, it's too sudden" Riana said.

"Just do it, or are you more comfortable with the room you used to be in while still working with my papa?"

"As far as you sir. You're the boss here" Riana said.

"good. You should have known a long time ago, if I wanted something different in my new office" Ethan said.

"But we're working for the first time sir, I don't understand you yet. And just this time I felt you ordered a sudden job" Riana said.

"Not many reasons. Quickly tell the OB and other officers to change my room. I'll go first, two hours to finish. No need to wait three days to change my room. You set it up, Riana." said Ethan.

Riana was silent, she was staring at her new boss. The difference is very striking for Riana between son and father, but she remembers the words of Mr. Wijaya to always be patient with Ethan. Sometimes his orders are unexpected.

"Well sir" said Riana.

Ethan leaves her room, and Riana quickly contacts the OB chief and other officers to change Ethan's new room.

"It's really weird him. All right, let's see what he's gonna do in this office. Does it work according to his attitude." said Riana.

Before long, three OB men came to Ethan's room. They approached Riana who was tidying the files into the closet.

"What's wrong Riana?" ask Udin, one of those OBs.

They also move quickly to help Riana change the position of the table and the closet. The files are all put in the closet and other items can be moved into the cardboard.

They work fast and very carefully, because Ethan gives only two hours. Fortunately today there were no meetings with clients outside, so Riana was more free to arrange all the items in Ethan's room. Not to forget also, the window curtains are replaced by a new one.

Two hours and ten minutes less everything was finished, Riana was sitting on the sofa. He took a deep breath, finally his work was done as well.

"Thank God it's over. Thanks to Udin, and Jono and bang Ucup" Riana said.

"Have you fixed everything, Riana? No one else has to change positions?" ask Udin.

"I guess already. Hopefully there are no other changes, and Ethan likes this change of room" Riana said.

"Emm, already. Later if I call again, you're here again."

The three OBs left, Riana returned to tidying up her files. The door opens again, Ethan enters the room. He looked around the room looking different from two hours ago.

"Why isn't the paint changed?!"
